About: From an early age, I always had an empathic heart towards animals. I grew up in the Caribbean where a copious amount of stray animals roam & inhabit our island. Our problem as a community started with not prioritizing safeguard measures to control the population of our animals. And as a result, the animals suffer. Education and resources are big players to combat that, and as a young child growing up in that environment, the need to help and care for animals got instilled pretty quickly. So I grew up very sensitive to the plight of animals who needed help. Which is why I believe dog walking/dog sitting in NYC is so vital, traditionally as apartment pets living in NYC. Space and access to it is a commodity, and with the working class leaving home every day with these pets at home I can understand how important it is to get these pets outside and to exercise them and give them attention. Also during my time fostering multiple special need animals back when I was in college, & caring for sick animals opened up my eyes to the value of quality care and time. Many a time while I was fostering, I noticed the animal shelter running out space to house and support animals who needed help and shelter. Which was actually how I came to fostering. I couldn't necessarily adopt at the time, so instead, I temporarily offered up my space and attention to special need animals who needed support. And I loved every minute of it. I loved taking pictures and would be great updating owners on the status of their pets. I'll even take short video clips/recordings keeping owners aware on whats happening with their loved ones. Living in the city teaches me on a daily basis how important communication is so that being said I'm quick to respond to texts and emails, so if there's any questions or concerns I'm very easy to reach. Again all breeds are welcomed. I have experience with taking care of neo-natal newborn kittens to my dear former pet "Morpheus" Rottweiler who was 105lbs of sweetness. A pet to me is like family, and you can 100% expect that quality level of care. I have a flexible schedule can't wait to schedule a meet and greet so I can assuage any questions or concerns you'll have for me.

About: Growing up, I’ve always had a ton of animals in the house. Since I was a teenager, I have house-sat/animal-sat for family members and family friends. We were traveling through Providence and had to keep our dog Cookie with her for two days consecutively and this was our first time with her. She absolutely made sure Cookie felt at home with her and also provided him with food ,walk ,toys plays etc. Cookie usually has anxiety issues at times so we were bit picky about choosing the right kind of day boarding for him. But Anely was a perfect choice.Though she was sitting few more dogs on those days but that never became an issue for our Cookie, so needless to say she is also expert at her job. It was because of Anely that we could enjoy Newport and other attractions of RI so much without having to worry about how Cookie is doing. She also sent us hourly updates with pictures over texts. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I am privately insured with the Pet Sitters Association and am dedicated to delivering top-notch pet care in the comfort of your own home. I do pet sitting on Rover fulltime so I have flexibility to provide care in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I accept drop ins from 6 am to 8:00 pm, I am able to accommodate requests outside of those hours on a case by case basis, do not hesitate to reach out! About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.
About: Growing up, I’ve always had a ton of animals in the house. Since I was a teenager, I have house-sat/animal-sat for family members and family friends. If I take care of your pet, they have my attention and of course love <3 I work fully remote, so I have tons of flexibility in my schedule, including availability during the weekday, evenings, and on weekends! Happy to hang out all day with your pet. Your pet’s safety is always my priority. As someone with pets myself, I understand the stress that occurs when you need someone else to take care of them for a time. That’s why I do everything in my power to reassure owners that their pet is in great hands and that we’ll have fun together! For example, if I’m taking your dog for a walk I will be incredibly mindful of my surroundings, including traffic and other people, so that your dog remains safe. If I’m staying overnight to watch your pet, I will be considerate of belongings in the property and happily play with the pet(s) in the home :)
About: I love pets. In my experience, pets our part of family and I will treat them as such. I have care for pets for over 30 years and am able to handle 5-8 dogs. I do pet care full-time. I am always home watching the dogs and cats, making sure they are safe. Pets will never be home alone and we follow strict food or medicine schedules if necessary. Pets are always being watched. They will never be left home alone when boarding. We have a fully gated yard that is impossible for dogs to escape.
