“Not to be dramatic, but Christa went above and beyond. My puppy is a love but can be leash reactive and so I worry about leaving him with someone who may not understand the importance of being attentive and proactive. Christa made time on short notice to meet us, do a walk through of our neighborhood and home, hear our concerns and expectations, and was ready with questions and experience to share in return. Communicating and working with Christa was a relief and we look forward to continuing to do so. 10/10 recommend!”

“Michelle was great! We were in a pinch- our friend was supposed to watch Zoe while we went to Block Island, but had an emergency and we needed someone to walk her twice during the day. Michelle responded to our Rover request within minutes, she was flexible and came at the times we needed her. Also, we ended up not having cell service on the island but she figured everything out and managed to get Zoe outside even though she was in a stubborn mood, and not wanting to walk far. She even fed her a bit which gave me peace of mind since we were getting home late. This was our first experience with Rover and it was so great. About: I've had pets in my home for as long as I can remember! I currently have one cat who is basically my child, so I understand how important it is to find someone to take the best care of your pet. I also volunteered at a cat shelter for over a year when I lived in CT. I've grown up with dogs of varying sizes, ages, and abilities. Can't wait to meet your pet! I'm currently exploring my next career turn and have got plenty of time and energy to devote to animal caretaking! My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I make it a point to get out and go for a walk every day, so it would be a bonus to have a dog friend to tend to and accompany me. I've cat sit and house sit for neighbors in the past, and I take it seriously and humbly that someone has trusted me to take care of their home and their pets. I have nothing but respect and consideration for your home and your animal, in the same way that I would expect a stranger to in my home. There's no so such thing as over-communicating with me, so please let me know of anything that will make the experience as comfortable and seamless as possible for your pet and yourself.
