I am extremely energetic/Athletic and if your doggie wants to go for a run, I am up for that for sure! Or if they just need some calming snuggle time, I’m your girl! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Recently losing my longtime companions, Niko, a tiny chihuahua/corgie mix & rescue with a huge personality, and Copper, a golden with a goofball heart of gold, reminded me how deeply our pets become family. About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably) I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.

About: With over 3 years of full time overnight and long-term petsitting experience, I bring real expertise and a whole lot of love to caring for your pets. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Oregon, and animals have been part of my life ever since. I've gone on to care for pets all over the world through various sitting opportunities. I'm comfortable with dogs of different breeds, sizes and energy levels, and I enjoy getting to know each cat's particular quirks. I'm also experienced with senior pets, including administering medications, managing mobility issues, and keeping a close eye on any special needs they have. Over the years I've cared for horses, dogs, cats, and even shrimp, so whatever your pet's personality, your furry (or fin-y) family member will be in experienced, loving hands. I currently work from home full time Monday to Friday. I have a flexible work schedule and can organize my time around walks and overnight sits. I’m available for overnight sits or to drop by and walk and feed pets or check on them while you’re away. The comfort of pets and their owners is my top priority. I’m discreet, punctual and communicative.

About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. As a part timer in nightlife, I work weekends at night. Luckily that frees up my week to be able to walk or sit for you! My superpower is sticking to the dogs routine, to set them up for success.
