About: I've had a dog in my life for the major majority of it. I've had 2 Shitzus, a German Shephard and an Akita. Quite the range. I traveled across the country with an Akita and that was such a great experience. I am very patient by nature and will care for you furry friend and give them all my attention and love. I have a somewhat flexible schedule. There are 3, sometimes 4 days a week where I’d be away for 6-7 hours. I like to be as transparent on everything. I’m not concerned about the dog having an accident in the house, it’s more of making sure they won’t be overly stressed out or anxious at that amount of time. I have a very secure fenced in yard that your pet will enjoy. There is a park directly across the street as well and I will also walk your dog around the Elmhurst neighborhood. I have a modest sized home with hardwood floors. Your pup is allowed on the furniture if its ok with you. A tired dog is a happy dog and I plan to play with your dog inside and outside the home. Your dog(s) or cat(s) will be my top priority. Other than work a few days a week which is stated above I’d be spending plenty of time playing and relaxing with your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard and live in a safe neighborhood. I have outdoor camera security system as well. I will take great care of your pet.

“Anely is an excellent sitter very warm ,affectionate and accomodating . We were traveling through Providence and had to keep our dog Cookie with her for two days consecutively and this was our first time with her. She absolutely made sure Cookie felt at home with her and also provided him with food ,walk ,toys plays etc. Cookie usually has anxiety issues at times so we were bit picky about choosing the right kind of day boarding for him. But Anely was a perfect choice.Though she was sitting few more dogs on those days but that never became an issue for our Cookie, so needless to say she is also expert at her job. It was because of Anely that we could enjoy Newport and other attractions of RI so much without having to worry about how Cookie is doing. She also sent us hourly updates with pictures over texts. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I have experience with cats and dogs of varying ages (puppies/kittens-elderly pets) and needs (illnesses and disabilities), as well as more exotic pets like lizards, birds, rodents, and aquatic animals like fish, turtles, and axolotls. I’ve administered medications for dogs, but do not have experience with needles. I’ve spent up to a week taking care of several animals at a time, as well as short periods like nights and checking in daily. I will do all I can to provide your pet and home with the care they need! I’m currently in college, but primarily online, so my school schedule is flexible with your needs! I am not working outside of pet care so I am not tied down to other responsibilities and provide the time needed to care for your pets. I’ve lived with pets my whole life, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll follow their usual schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention. I’m comfortable paying attention to a pet’s behavior and making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and secure. I’ll also treat your home with respect, double-check doors and gates, and follow any specific instructions you leave. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pets are being well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably) I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. They have always had a special place in heart. I’ve had all different types of animals and my sister is a vet so she has taught me some little things. About: Hi! I have been pet sitting with my non-reactive pup Sylvie for a number of friend's cats and dogs since COVID (usually as a favor) in and out of the New England area. I work at an arts non-profit in PVD and can drive. I can pet-sit and do limited amounts of dog training. Right now I work in a dog-friendly place 10 minutes from my home and my partner is working from home. We like going on hikes and to the dog parks. I would not bring a client's pet to my workplace, but a pet would always have someone with them at all times or at least not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I am most flexible on weekends and for overnight care. I have a fenced yard, a crate, and multiple rooms in the home with pocket doors that can split a larger room into two if needed. We usually let pets have free range of home or section off the living room depending on the temperament and needs of the pet.
