“Karla was our dog walker when she lived in the Boston area. We were so sorry to see her move away! Karla worked for us for several years. We have 2 dogs- one of which has some issues with prey drive. Karla did a great job learning our dog’s triggers. It was such a real relief that she listened to our concerns and was willing to follow our advice to avoid any issues. My other dog is older and requires meds, also no issues. Overall, Karla was just so incredibly professional. Our jobs require a lot of travel- and sometimes that comes with the unpredictable issues. If Karla had availability, she was always willing to flex her schedule to help us out- I could send her a note and let her know I was going to be late getting home and she would stay to feed the dogs or offer an additional walk. It was just such a relief to have someone we could rely on like that. Karla stayed in our home many times. She always left the house spotless and in perfect order. My neighbors would comment on that she was quiet and polite. I highly recommend Karla, and would not hesitate to hire her again. We will miss having her take care of our dogs!”

We have one cat who is quite skittish and shy and when she chose to sleep with Nicky the very first night of the stay we knew we had just the person. Our animals and our home were under terrific care and we were very relaxed while away and able to enjoy our vacation. We are trying mightily to secure her for future travel dates. About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

Julia is the BEST dog sitter! Our two dogs not only love her but get to do all sorts of fun things with her that we don’t do (more walks, new places, etc). She sends frequent updates accompanied by wonderful photos. In addition, she’s a super trustworthy and reliable house sitter while caring for the pups. We always feel secure in the knowledge that Julia provides safe and loving care. Recommend 110%!
Christine was fantastic! She sent so many updates and always answered very quickly if I had questions. She had my pups the entire weekend and took such amazing care of them! Beaux is a little nervous and unsure around new people and she was very patient with him!
This was my first time using Angela to house and dog sit while I went away for a quick one night trip. She was delightful to work with. Very kind and friendly and attuned to my dog, Penelope’s, needs. Communication was excellent leading up to and during my time away. She sent lots of pictures and videos of Penelope, which I always find comforting while separated. She even brought her dog (after a meet and greet to see if they were compatible) so that Penelope had a playmate. It looked like they had a wonderful time together. Not sure Penelope even noticed I was gone. Angela left the house nice and tidy and put on some soothing nature sounds for the hour Penelope was going to be alone before I got home. She also made brownies and left some for me when I got home. Penelope and I are both looking forward to our next Aunty Angela stay!
Katie is a very communicative, attentive, and caring sitter! She housesat for us and took great care of Moose, who has a somewhat complicated diet/medicine regimen. We never doubted that he was in great care. Would definitely recommend Katie and use her services again!
Kristine is amazing. She is friendly, very accommodating, and knowledgeable about pets, their behaviors. and pets care. Kristine is great with my two very different and very “personalitied” pups. She is very responsive to messages re booking and incredibly communicative during visits and sittings. Kristine is an incredible overnight guest. I never worry about my pups or the house when traveling. I cannot recommend Kristine enough.
Virgelica was the best! She cared for my turtle & cat while we were both away. They can both be finicky pets but she did great with them and kept me up to date. The two of them are happy as can be since I returned home. I had tech issues while I was away and wasn't able to access the rover app frequently -- I'm glad rover provides a phone number so we could keep in contact that way. Virgelica was diligent, had great communication, and both of our pets happy! Would recommend her to anyone.
