About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have been caring for dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Beyond pet sitting, I’ve worked at an SPCA and at a zoo, where I gained hands-on experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals. I also study animals professionally, so understanding animal behavior and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood is something I genuinely love. I’m comfortable with animals of all personalities and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s individual routine and needs. I’m a graduate student with a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m generally available for dog walks in the mornings and evenings, and I have flexibility during the day depending on my class and research schedule. I’m also available for boarding on weekends. About: I have had a dog in the house since I was young. Most recently helped train my family German Shepherd puppy from 10 weeks! I also have experience caring for my dog when she went through a major hip replacement surgery, which required much more intensive care over the course of a few months. Do not currently have any pets (my pup is back home), but have helped take care of both dogs and cats. I am staying in the Brown University area over the summer and will be conducting research as a Master's student. My schedule is very flexible as I mostly work on a laptop. However, there will be days I have to work around experiments, so feel free to inquire! I won't be able to host your pet (sadly), but I am more than willing to visit or walk as needed! I always starts with asking: 1. Any essential things about the pet I need to know (medication, allergies, etc.) 2. Any essential things about the house? (places to keep them out of, toys, beds, where they like to hang out) 3. Food, drink, and potty schedule + locations for each. 4. Anything else you want me to be aware of? (No shoes in the house, stay out of certain rooms, don't let mud get tracked around, etc.) 5. In case there's a mess, how should I clean up? (paper towels, pads, trash bags, etc.) I always want to respect both your house and your little friend so please give me as much detail as possible!

About: Hi! I have been pet sitting with my non-reactive pup Sylvie for a number of friend's cats and dogs since COVID (usually as a favor) in and out of the New England area. I work at an arts non-profit in PVD and can drive. I can pet-sit and do limited amounts of dog training. Right now I work in a dog-friendly place 10 minutes from my home and my partner is working from home. We like going on hikes and to the dog parks. I would not bring a client's pet to my workplace, but a pet would always have someone with them at all times or at least not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I am most flexible on weekends and for overnight care. I have a fenced yard, a crate, and multiple rooms in the home with pocket doors that can split a larger room into two if needed. We usually let pets have free range of home or section off the living room depending on the temperament and needs of the pet.
