About: I’m a travel nurse without any animals who wants to love on yours! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 3 years old, up to 3 dogs at a time. I trained my puppy while I was in high school and have loved on dogs through their old age as well. I worked at a doggy daycare for a few summers while I was in college. I work 10 hours shift during the week, however I am free in the evenings after 6pm and have one free day during the week. I am always available on the weekends. I understand that all dogs have their own routine, needs & quirks! I am very thorough with the care I provide and will love them like my own! I have experience in dogs with medical needs such as giving them oral meds & injections as well as post-op recovery care.

“I can’t say enough good stuff about Sophie! She took care of our two cats while we were out of town for our wedding. It was our first time leaving one of the cats home alone, so we were a little nervous. Sophie kept us updated and gave us much needed peace of mind. Our two cats are still getting to know each other so have to be kept separate, and one of them has a minor health condition that we needed to keep an eye on. Despite these challenging circumstances (and an unexpected power outage), Sophie took incredible care of our girls. Sophie was once again an amazing sitter for Pumpkin! She is very responsive and sends us pictures and updates throughout the week which we always appreciate. She seems to understand Pumpkin and his personality very well and we always come home to a well taken care of and happy dog!

He was very attuned to our dog’s needs, including taking extra time and thought to prepare her special food when her appetite was low. Our house was in great shape when we returned.
