About: I have had a dog in the house since I was young. Most recently helped train my family German Shepherd puppy from 10 weeks! I also have experience caring for my dog when she went through a major hip replacement surgery, which required much more intensive care over the course of a few months. Do not currently have any pets (my pup is back home), but have helped take care of both dogs and cats. I am staying in the Brown University area over the summer and will be conducting research as a Master's student. My schedule is very flexible as I mostly work on a laptop. However, there will be days I have to work around experiments, so feel free to inquire! I won't be able to host your pet (sadly), but I am more than willing to visit or walk as needed! I always starts with asking: 1. Any essential things about the pet I need to know (medication, allergies, etc.) 2. Any essential things about the house? (places to keep them out of, toys, beds, where they like to hang out) 3. Food, drink, and potty schedule + locations for each. 4. Anything else you want me to be aware of? (No shoes in the house, stay out of certain rooms, don't let mud get tracked around, etc.) 5. In case there's a mess, how should I clean up? (paper towels, pads, trash bags, etc.) I always want to respect both your house and your little friend so please give me as much detail as possible!

About: I have been a dog owner my whole life and have loved taking care of the pets of family friends and neighbors. I have experience with a variety of ages and I have helped train multiple family dogs. I love taking my dogs on runs or just lounging around the house giving belly rubs or cuddles... and the occasional treat. I am a recent graduate of Physician Assistant school starting work in the winter. My schedule is very open as a result, and I am happy to accommodate your needs. I live in a pet friendly home with easy access to multiple parks and walking paths. I am happy to commute to your home as well if this would make things easier or your pet feel more comfortable.

Beyond pet sitting, I’ve worked at an SPCA and at a zoo, where I gained hands-on experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals.
