“Poppy had a wonderful weekend stay with Robert! He was so kind and attentive and shared lots of pictures and updates while we were away. We will happily send Poppy back for future stays with Robert!”

“Rocky had an EXCELLENT stay with Courtney and a great, fun time. Rocky is an older dog with some minor health concerns and Courtney made me feel completely comfortable. Courtney is so friendly, competent with a lovely fenced in yard for dogs. She even sent me adorable pictures throughout Rocky's stay. I was completely at ease while Rocky was there. I highly recommend Courtney!”

“Sierra is great! She was so communicative while we were out of town. She made sure our pup was well taken care of and was gentle in letting him acclimate to her house and other dogs. We’re so happy to have found her!”

“Ty and her family took excellent care of Penny! Penny always looks happy and relaxed in her pictures and Ty is very quick to respond to any questions. Thanks, Ty!”

“Anne was amazing! So attentive and took in mind my dogs usual routine- and took extra great care of her! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her and would definitely recommend her.”

“Anely was an AMAZING dog sitter for us while we went out of town for over a week. Dill (my dog) came back super happy and healthy. Also, I received daily pics and updated on how he was doing while we were away. I will definitely be using Anely again. Excellent service!! It feels great to have someone trustworthy to watch Dill.”

“Thank you Matthew for taking care of my baby while I was gone for a weekend . I appreciate the pictures you sent and playing fetch with him . Will definitely recommend to friends !”

“Rafael was incredible with our 14 year old beagle. We are very particular on who we leave our dog with and we felt great about leaving her with Rafael. His home is clean and safe. Such a nice and caring guy. He made the cutest report card for our dog. Sammy will definitely be visiting again when we go away.”

“Devorat was wonderful in every way - she's a sweetheart and kept in touchwith texts, photos and videos and I could see my pup was so happy with her and the other dogs!”

“Carolina is simply amazing. She is so accommodating and trustworthy. I had at least two updates, pictures, and videos of my little guy. Her family is wonderful, loving, and caring. I will be using her again on our next vacation.”

“Keasha continues to set the bar for pet care. We were delayed getting back from a trip and Keasha made sure to purchase additional food. She cares for our fur baby like she’s her own and gives us tremendous peace of mind.”

“Charlie spent two weeks with Lisa and was so comfortable and well taken care of. We were able to fully log offline and relax knowing he was in good hands! Multiple daily updates with photos and occasional videos. Charlie is a senior dog with separation anxiety so we were very worried about leaving him for so long and finding a sitter who would accommodate his joint problems and medication needs. Lisa was great about his routine and attentive to our requests!”

“Karen made our dog feel right at home and has a perfect fenced in yard that is dedicated to the dogs. Her Lab made the perfect companion to keep our excited pup busy and entertained. Karen also sent pictures and was very easy to communicate with, definitely going to be returning next time we need a sitter!”

“Brenda was a great sitter. She was very patient with our girl who was a bit anxious the first few days but Brenda was communicative and worked with Maisie to get her comfortable and settled and happy. She took Maisie on walks and to the dog park and gave her lots of love and care. Bonnie (resident dog) is a sweet playful girl and the dogs got along really well and had lots of play time. I would highly recommend Brenda as a sitter and Bonnie as co-sitter.”

“Shawn was communicative from the start through to past when I picked Dakota up. Super friendly, super helpful and overall just great. Understanding of my concerns and Dakota’s wants and needs. Will definitely book with them again. :)”

“No doubt in my mind will return to Bri for car. Communicative. Thorough. Knowledgeable. Nothing but kind, patient, and caring. If you’re looking for someone you can count on it’s Bri! Book her while you can for any of your needs!”

“Emily was so good to my cat while I was away! She did everything he needed, and kept me updated throughout my trip with notes and pictures. When I came home, he was happy and healthy. This is the first trip I’ve gone on in a long time where I didn’t worry about him at all! I will absolutely be using Emily again!”

“Grace was a great sitter for our three cats. We have a shy cat that warmed up to her very quickly. She updated us with every visit with how the cats were behaving and sent pictures. We would absolutely use her again. Thank you again.”

“Jennifer was the perfect pet sitter! She took excellent care of my two cats and was even up for watering my garden. Her daily updates and pictures brightened my days while away!”

“Noah took great care of my cats and sent thorough updates, which I appreciated! He was easy to communicate with and enjoys getting to know cats’ personalities and playing with them. I definitely recommend him and will try to work with him again in the future!”

“Words can’t express how wonderful Liana was while watching my cat, Finnian, while we were away! Each update (and pictures) she provided truly showed how comfortable, safe, and happy my cat was with her. Liana is so kind and easy to communicate with, paid so much attention to what my cat liked (treats, toys, pets, etc). I felt totally at ease while away knowing he was SO well taken care of. I would love to utilize Liana again the next time we go away—she is wonderful!”

“Maryann was excellent, I would absolutely recommend her and rebook her again for my pet. I loved her updates and felt very reassured that my cat was being looked after so well!”

“Isabelle is a lifesaver. So glad to have met her, and I know Mishka is too. I’m new to the app, and we had booked another petsitter who had to cancel at the last minute. I was leaving for two weeks, so it was a little stressful to find someone who could properly care for my precious little kitty while I was gone. Isabelle sent me check-in cards with adorable photos of them cuddling every day. She made sure to feed Mishka treats, and even watered my plants. Definitely would love to work with Isabelle again. She knows exactly what cats and their humans need to feel safe ?”

“Olivia took such great care of Phoebe while we were away! She sent plenty of pictures and updates and did everything she could to make Phoebe comfortable even though she isn’t always the best with strangers. Would highly recommend Olivia!”

About: We love welcoming new friends for visits. We have a fully fenced backyard, plenty of space for playing, swimming in the puppy pool, napping, and cuddling. We’re located in a neighborhood made for long, leisurely walks. I also enjoy taking photos and am happy to send you updates as often (or as little) as you’d like. Schedule a meet-and-greet with us! We can’t wait to meet you! On the days I work from home and on weekends, we would love to have a dog-friend join us for the day, or for an overnight. If we’re somewhat neighbors, I am also available for walks over the weekend and possibly on weeknight(s). I have a fenced-in yard, home security, smoke and CO alarm. I do not crate our dog Lucy, but if you need me to do so for your dog, consider it done! I walk her in her harness around safe neighborhoods like Oak Hill in Pawtucket and on the East Side of Providence. I refrain from dog parks because I feel she is more comfortable with one on one play, but if there is a certain park you'd like me to take your dog to, I'd be happy to.

“Jules was wonderful with our three cats. Not only did she keep up with the tasks of litter duties and feedings, but she located each cat to give them some love, attention, playtime, and treats. She also took plenty of photos and it was nice seeing our fur babies as it relieved us to know they were in good hands and would be well taken care of. It's a lot to handle with three hungry felines, but especially the litter box cleanup routine. Jules managed it all and we appreciated her attention to detail, the many photos, and the updates/notes! Thank you, Jules! Wonderful job!!! Pamela”

“Briana watched our sweet, shy cat Bob for a week while we were out. We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver and houseguest! Briana sent us regular updates with adorable photos, details about Bob's meals, administered his every-other-day oral medication, and generally helped us rest assured that he was in great hands. I continue to highly recommend Briana to cat parents out there, especially ones with anxious kitties who can be shy.”

“Katarina took great care of our kitties while we went away for the weekend. From our first phone conversation, it was very clear how much she loves animals and it left us feeling reassured that our babies were in capable & loving hands. She sent us pivs of our babies and gave daily updates. Great work by an excellent pet sitter. We would not hesitate to use Katarina again!”

“Grace did a great job watching my cat. She fed her, cleaned the litter and sent me pictures and/or comments each day. My cat isn't very friendly with people that she doesn't know and Grace handled it just fine. Would be happy to have her come again.”

“Ashely was great!! She took great care of our three cats who all have big personalities. She sent lots of pics while we were away and they all looked very happy to have playtime and pets. We came home to happy cats! We’ll definitely book her again!”

“I would highly recommend Hailey! She took very good care of my cat Taro. She was very reliable and sent a lot of very cute photos of dinner and playtime. I felt like he was in very good hands. Thank you Hailey!”

“Paul was amazing. My cat had some last minute health issues come up requiring multiple medicines and many more visits than initially expected. Paul rolled with it and upon return, my cat was the happiest she's ever been following my being gone for an extended period of time. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to hire Paul again whenever I leave town. Thanks again from Nellie and I!”

“Another great few days with Ty! She communicates clearly, follows through on all logistics and timelines, and most importantly, cares for Dexter with kindness and diligence. He loves spending time with her!”

“Gunther loved hanging out at Courtney’s house with his new friend Lucy! They are great hosts. He came back exhausted and happy- we enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and friendly home-away-from-home for their canine companion.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
“Anely was responsive, communicative and just really great! Anely was able to meet all our needs (we weren't sure how Charlie would do with other dogs), and Charlie had a great time.”

“Lisa was so good with our dog, very attentive, and very clearly a pet lover! We also received many cute pictures and updates which we really appreciated. Our dog had a great time with her. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m Georga, a lifelong animal lover with over 8 years of experience. I’m also a full time graduate student who mostly works from home, so I have lots of time and attention to give to your pets. I have a Boston terrier named Harley, a goofy and friendly 4 year old who loves making new friends (human and furry alike!) so I know important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe and loved while you’re away and that’s exactly is exactly the kind of care I provide. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m able to plan walks, drop in visits, and playtime throughout the day, and I enjoy breaking up my work with some pet cuddles. I will follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible and send lots of update pics along the way! Overall, I will spend quality time giving attention, play, and enrichment so your pet can feel comfortable and cared for.
About: Hello, I’m a Brown University graduate who gave up on the corporate life to live off my art and my passion for animals. I’ve always had pets in my life, especially cats, and I’ve been caring for them since I was a kid. Growing up, I also helped watch my neighbors’ pets whenever they needed an extra hand. Now, I’m a proud dog mom to Bonnie, a sweet Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix I share with my partner. Because she’s our first dog, we dove deep into research—while at Brown, we studied canine behavior and body language to better understand how dogs communicate and what they need to feel safe and happy. That knowledge has been invaluable in helping us welcome pet guests into our home. When your pets stay with us, they’ll be treated just like Bonnie—with cuddles, love, fun walks, playtime, and plenty of care. My goal is always to make them feel at home, comfortable, and loved. My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to walk, feed, play with, and cuddle your pets throughout the day. Whether they need extra attention, long walks, or just companionship, I’m here to make sure they always feel cared for. The first priority for me when caring for animals is safety. I pay close attention to the environment and make sure pets are always comfortable and secure. For dogs, I have a safe yard where they can play, take potty breaks, or just relax outside. I also live in a very pet-friendly neighborhood, perfect for safe walks and trips to the park. For cats, my home is equipped with window protection so they can’t slip outside (unless they are leash-trained or outdoor cats whose owners prefer outside time). I always respect each owner’s preferences—whether that means leash walks, indoor-only care, or a specific routine. If not in my own house, it's my pleasure to go to the owners house to take care of the cats! I will check the whole house to make sure everything is in order, clean everything, feed, hang out and play with the little ones! I pay attention to each animal’s unique needs. I believe communication is key, so I’ll always ask questions and keep in touch to make sure we’re on the same page.
“Sonia is fantastic! Her regular check-Ins and photo updates are so appreciated. Wonderful, big fenced in yard for pups to play! Her dog Lola is terrific too. Both days we came home with a very tired, happy pup! Definitely recommend!”

About: I adopted my dog when he was two and trained him to become the calm, well-mannered gentleman he is today. Now a senior, he’s an expert at finding the best spot on the floor and supervising the household from there. Caring for him has taught me the patience, attentiveness, and extra support older dogs need. I’m dependable, observant, and committed to following each pet’s routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your dog prefers long walks, slow strolls, playtime, or professional-level napping, I’ll treat them like my own. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because spending time with animals is genuinely one of the best parts of my day. I plan my schedule carefully so every visit gets the time and attention it deserves... never rushed or squeezed in as an afterthought. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine, arrive when expected, and keep you updated while you’re away. I know consistency helps pets feel safe, especially when dinner is served three minutes late and they’re considering filing a formal complaint. Safety and trust come first. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely, respect the space, and keep doors, gates, and leashes secure. I know from my own dog's personality that pets are not always committed to the honor system. I’ll maintain their usual feeding, walking, and playtime routines while giving them the patience and attention they need to feel comfortable. In my home, any introductions to my calm senior dog would be slow and supervised, with separate spaces available for meals and rest. I’ll also provide honest updates so you can relax knowing your pet and home are being treated with genuine care and respect.
“From the moment I pulled up, I had a great feeling about leaving Caroline with Matthew. He was outside playing with his pup and the strong bond they have was obvious. While watching Caroline, Matthew sent great photos and was very communicative. Would 100% recommend for doggy daycare!”

“Gilbert is the best Rover host I’ve had the pleasure of using to watch Leo. I was provided videos throughout the day and Leo played hard with Gilbert’s dog Moon all day. I couldn’t be happier and I’m going back tomorrow for one more day. Gilbert was also very flexible with my schedule as I hit a snag during my business in Providence.”

About: Erin and I both grew up with dogs and love having them around. Between caring for our siblings dogs periodically and being primary care takers of our dogs growing up we feel equipped to provide a safe and caring home. I am a remote worker so I am home throughout the week. Erin is a part time substitute teacher so she is home a few days as well. We would have lots of time to attend to a dog throughout the day and be able to provide lots of 1x1 time, walks, and playtime in the back yard. We have a fenced in back yard and live in a walkable neighborhood. We are currently a pet free house so your dog would be the only one here with us. We would allow access to all furniture except the bedroom door would remain closed. We can also accommodate a crate if needed
“Shawn was excellent at communicating throughout the day. She made sure my pup was hydrated and happy. He got lots of love and attention. She was also very flexible and accommodating.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. They have always had a special place in heart. I’ve had all different types of animals and my sister is a vet so she has taught me some little things. I am currently working a part time job and I’m about to leave for college and need some extra hours. I don’t mind if it’s miles or just down the street. I personally don’t care if I have to go in someone’s house just want their stuff to be out so I don’t have to go through there stuff.

“Grace was great at communicating and patient with Nugget who can be a little anxious at first. Sent photos and checked into throughout. Thank you again, Grace!”

“Emily is amazing! This was our first time using Rover, so of course we were hoping we’d find someone who was a good fit and that we felt comfortable having in our home. She was so sweet and our two dogs were so happy to meet her - in fact, I think her calming demeanor put them at ease! She was thorough, prompt, and sent adorable photos so we knew the dogs were in good hands. It was great to not have to worry about how they were doing or if they were being taken good care of. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat and plan to for the next time we need some extra help! Thanks so much Emily!”

I’m also experienced with cats and understand the unique attention they need. I previously worked at Dog Mountain, a dog centered art gallery and off-leash haven, where I gained even more insight into canine behavior and safety. I have two dogs, that currently live in Vermont, both of which have faced serious medical issues that I’ve managed with calm, competent care. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets and I make sure to treat every animal as my own. I currently work part-time, which allows me the flexibility to offer frequent walks and attentive pet care. Being from Vermont, staying active and enjoying the outdoors is a daily priority for me, so your pets will always enjoy plenty of exercise and outdoor time. I’m primarily available for morning and afternoon walks, seven days a week. I miss my dogs and want a canine companion on my daily runs/walks! About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. My first job was working as a cat sitter for my neighbor’s young cat, Monkey. I’ve stayed at neighbors houses to watch their dogs since high school, providing regular walks, enrichment, and love. I’ve worked with puppies as young as 10 weeks and dogs as old as 12 years. I’ve worked with pets with special needs and medication needs. Most importantly, I truly love animals. As my sister’s weenie dog puppy can attest, nothing makes me happier than having an animal curled up on my lap. Even if it means dealing with some scratches or disciplining, being around pets is always worth it! As a student, my schedule is super flexible. I’m happy to take care of pets whenever I can. I love early morning walks, so I’m available as early as 7:30 am. My house requires getting up a few flights of stairs, so large senior pups may struggle. Otherwise, any animals are welcome. I’m happy to stay at other folks’ homes as I know this often makes animals more comfortable. I’m flexible to whatever your house rules are!
“Xavier is responsible and communicative and always on time. Our dog, Reggie loves Xavier and does so much better on the days when Xavier comes to walk him. Xavier goes above and beyond by making sure the puppy mess is picked up at our house before he leaves. I highly recommend Xavier for your pet.”

“Beyond excellent! Paul took great care of our elderly dog while we were away. We so appreciate the extra attention to her. We would hire Paul again without hesitation. Highly recommend!”

My background includes working as a playgroup supervisor at a doggy daycare outside Boston, as well as my former position at Providence Animal Rescue League as a communications coordinator and pet photographer (which means I’d be happy to capture some great photos of your pets, too!). In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m comfortable and experienced with administering medications — including to cats and dogs with special medical needs. I understand the importance of patience and precision when it comes to keeping pets healthy and happy. At home, I share life with my partner Anna (also an animal lover and caregiver), our diabetic cat Nestor, and our two leopard geckos, Meechee and Verne. I also help care for my family’s dog, Finn, whenever I can. Currently, I work mostly remotely, with occasional in office days. Whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or pet sitting/boarding, I bring a mix of professional experience, personal passion, and a whole lot of care to every pet I meet. I’d love the chance to get to know you and your pets! I currently work a hybrid-remote job that is dominantly remote, with occasional in office days. Myself and my partner are a lovely tag team of caregivers when it comes to our cat and leopard geckos! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine as closely as possible so your pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, walks or playtime, administering medication if needed, and of course lots of love and attention. I keep a close eye on their well-being, send updates and photos, and always leave your home just as I found it. To be able to stay in your home is a privilege in itself, so I thank you for the hospitality! When pets stay with me, I provide a safe and cozy environment, enrichment through play, and plenty of supervised attention. I believe in treating every animal as if they were my own — making sure they’re happy, healthy, and cared for in the way that suits them best.
About: We both have experience living with animals. Mary grew up and lived on a farm with many cats and dogs, as well as worked in a pet store on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. Nick grew up owning fish, dogs, cats, and a number of hamsters and gerbils. We both love animals and want to make sure they aren't only taken care of, but also happy. We are living on the east side of Providence right now. We can book overnights stays, walks midday, or host for a fun/quiet night. . During those stays we will be able to take care of the animals at all times and accommodate them properly. We both currently work in the city but have flexible times during the day and weekends. We take them on plenty of walks and make sure they get to move throughout the day. Playtime is super important for most animals, not just taking them on a daily walk. We treat out clients animals as if they were our own. Regular/routine feeding times, outdoor activity, and plenty of love and care.

“Poppy had a wonderful weekend stay with Robert! He was so kind and attentive and shared lots of pictures and updates while we were away. We will happily send Poppy back for future stays with Robert!”

“Sierra is great! She was so communicative while we were out of town. She made sure our pup was well taken care of and was gentle in letting him acclimate to her house and other dogs. We’re so happy to have found her!”

“Rook really enjoyed his stay at Brandon’s home! Brandon kept me updated daily with messages, photos, and videos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I truly appreciated the consistent communication and the care he showed for Rook. Highly recommend!”

“I love love love my new family!!!!!!! I think next time I leave Frank I will stay for the night too! It was so hard to say good bye to them because I loved them so much! I will be booking them forever!!!!!”

“Pea had her first sleep over with Faith and Jay and I was so happy to see just how comfortable she was in the space. So grateful for the accommodations for this ~very~ particular dog.”

“Gilbert took great care of our black lab mix, Ember! She’s high energy and can be a lot sometimes, but Gilbert and his sweet pup Moon kept her entertained and happy! Recommend 100%!! Thank you so much Gilbert.”

“Giovanni was very professional and he has a very loving home. His own pets are well cared for. He even has a 19 year old poodle mix! It’s a real testament to the TLC in the house that can bring a dog into his 19th year of life. Giovanni and my dog were fast friends and I look forward to working with him again soon.”

“Everything was great with our dog’s stay with Paige. She sent photos and updates and she even was dealing with a storm and power outages throughout - will certainly book with her again.”

“Would 100% request Anita again. I'm am touched by her care for my pups, the daily updates, and shared media. I lucked out with her😭. I'm so glad coco played well with her dog 😍”

“Gary was fantastic. I had another sitter back out at the last minute, for the holiday weekend, and right when everyone is all of a sudden traveling again, and I was panicking. I’d also never left our furson with someone I didn’t know before. Gary was super calm, and put me at ease to leave Bosun with him, he was very communicative, and I never had to worry while we were gone, and was able to just enjoy our trip. Bosun, is a sweet boy, but is an intact male, which I know can be a lot to handle if you aren’t firm with him; both Gary and his sweet furson Amigo were patient with him, and able to tire him out enough to behave. I highly recommend Gary, and would have him pup sit anytime we are in the area again.”
