About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I am the proud parent of a 3-year old labradoodle named Yoffi and he has a typical feeding, walk, play, and sleep routine. I work from home, so I am able to supervise and maintain a safe and happy home for all pups staying with me and Yoffi. I am also happy to administer any medication and take any special care instructions. I live in a large studio apartment so it is easy for the pups to play and socialize under supervision. I have worked as a teacher (elementary school, high school, and undergraduate), camp counselor, and lifeguard, so I have ample experience with safety and supervision. I now work from home and can attend to your pup all day. I have also frequently cared for pets of friends both overnight and for pop-in visits. I work remotely and am flexible during the day to help when you need it! I have a car and am able to get to you easily. I am completely comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and exercising them how you see fit. As a dog owner, I am well-equipped to walk your dog and play. I am happy to provide mentally stimulating games and exercises, and I am comfortable with a variety of leashes (easy-walk, gentle leader etc.) as well as with crate training.
