About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably) I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.

About: I’ve trained three very skittish rescue doggies and purebred pups. I dog sit for friends and family often. I am extremely energetic/Athletic and if your doggie wants to go for a run, I am up for that for sure! Or if they just need some calming snuggle time, I’m your girl! I enjoy getting to know pet’s unique personalities and needs. I grew up around animals my whole life — dogs, house cats, barn cats, and even neighboring farm animals and wildlife. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Recently losing my longtime companions, Niko, a tiny chihuahua/corgie mix & rescue with a huge personality, and Copper, a golden with a goofball heart of gold, reminded me how deeply our pets become family. About: With over 3 years of full time overnight and long-term petsitting experience, I bring real expertise and a whole lot of love to caring for your pets. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Oregon, and animals have been part of my life ever since. I've gone on to care for pets all over the world through various sitting opportunities. I'm also experienced with senior pets, including administering medications, managing mobility issues, and keeping a close eye on any special needs they have. I currently work from home full time Monday to Friday. I have a flexible work schedule and can organize my time around walks and overnight sits.
