“We couldn't be more pleased with Christine and the care she took with our dogs and ferret! We hired her to house sit for us with 2 extremely anxious, large dogs, and a ferret for 3 days and 2 nights. She was caring and attentive with our dogs who were very standoffish and afraid, and took the time to engage our ferret in play so she wasn't spending a lot of time alone in her cage. Christine was communicative, giving daily updates, and was respectful of our pets and our home. We would highly recommend Christine to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring house/pet sitter.”

“Isabel is fantastic with my two big dogs! They have various health concerns and lots of energy, and she made us feel so comfortable with all the great updates/photos while staying at our house for the long weekend. Not only is she a wonderful house guest, we can tell how much our dogs truly enjoy spending time with her!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Joselyn was absolutely wonderful. She came to the house a couple of times before our vacation to ensure the dogs were comfortable with her. We never worried the week we were away, as Joselyn kept us updated, including pictures and videos. We came home to a clean house and happy furbabies. Would definitely recommend Joselyn, and we will 100% utilize her again!”

“Bri was fantastic with our rambunctious cat Sebastian- he warmed up to her much quicker than he does for other people. Bri was very communicative, letting us know regularly how he was doing and sending picture updates during her stay watching our place and cat. We really appreciated it and would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Thanks Bri!”

“Kaitlyn is super communicative, thinks about how to make the experience the best it possibly can be for your pet, and sends tons of photos and updates to make sure you know your pet is in the best hands possible and is happy and taken care of! It’s obvious Kaitlyn enjoys caring for pets and that this means more to her than just a job!”

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.
“Brittany is so great! She’s intuitive, capable, and flexible. Plus Mabel (my pup) fell for her almost immediately. I recommend her with only the highest praise and appreciation.”

“Emma was amazing. She took such great care of the pets and house. The videos and photos were so nice to receive and I knew my dog and cats were in good hands.”

“Jada was excellent with my dogs. This was my first time using Rover services so I was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. I set up a meetiNg date prior to hiring Jada. She answered my questions and we both felt like good match . She was respectful, communicative and on time. Sent me photos of the dogs with updates. My dogs really loved her. I would recommend her services and will contact her again.”
“I felt very relieved knowing I could trust Savannah with my cats. She did a great job taking care of them. I received pictures and updates daily. I would recommend Savannah to anyone who has special fur babies. The next time I plan a vacation, Savannah will be one of the first people I'll call.”

“Sophie was responsive and flexible while our plans fluctuated! She was able to help us out last minute and our shy dobie took to her right away. Thanks Sophie!”

“Noah is the best cat/house sitter in the world. He was so communicative, respectful and treated my cat like his own. My cat loved him and was absolutely living for all the love, care and company Noah provided. I know my cat is just waiting for me to leave so he can hang out with Noah again - and I will never hesitate to do so. I got such great updates from Noah, and felt like I was there with him and my cat, it made being away from my furry buddy so much easier. Thank you Noah!!!”

“Highly recommend Latifa, she worked wonders with my two post-op spayed (formerly) stray cats who required some special attention. So glad she was able to accommodate us so last minute!”

“She was very thorough and thoughtful in taking care of my boys. She communicated with us everyday and made us feel comfortable that our babies were being taken care of.”

“Kemba is great! The dogs love him and he leaves the house just as you left it. Recommend to anybody who wants dog sitting and house sitting services :)”

“Aidan was very communicative and made sure to reach out when Kieran was having stomach upset. They made the effort to coordinate both with me and my friend as I was out of the country and less accessible. Later on in my trip when my flights got messed up, they were ready and willing to come back to care for Kieran until I sorted everything out. They’re a wonderful and thoughtful pet sitter. I would recipe d them to anyone!”

About: I have worked with dogs in a professional setting at a doggy daycare and was able to experience a wide range of ages and temperaments. I can very effectively control a room full of dogs, even when there are aggressive, anxious, or antisocial dogs. I can clean up any mess, will do everything necessary to retrieve contraband from a dogs mouth, and am capable of correcting any undesirable habits if desired. Additionally, I have had my dogs for nearly my entire life. I have experience with doggies post-operation, medicating, giving IV fluids, doggy diapers, cleaning up accidents, and emergency situations. I love any type of dog and enjoy playing with them and keeping them active. I am well prepared for any situation regarding the health, wellbeing, and happiness of your pup!
“Karla was our dog walker when she lived in the Boston area. We were so sorry to see her move away! Karla worked for us for several years. We have 2 dogs- one of which has some issues with prey drive. Karla did a great job learning our dog’s triggers. It was such a real relief that she listened to our concerns and was willing to follow our advice to avoid any issues. My other dog is older and requires meds, also no issues. Overall, Karla was just so incredibly professional. Our jobs require a lot of travel- and sometimes that comes with the unpredictable issues. If Karla had availability, she was always willing to flex her schedule to help us out- I could send her a note and let her know I was going to be late getting home and she would stay to feed the dogs or offer an additional walk. It was just such a relief to have someone we could rely on like that. Karla stayed in our home many times. She always left the house spotless and in perfect order. My neighbors would comment on that she was quiet and polite. I highly recommend Karla, and would not hesitate to hire her again. We will miss having her take care of our dogs!”

About: I had dogs and cats growing up and also have experience caring for family pets as well. I have experience with all sorts of breeds. I became a foster momma for dogs and cats/kittens since January 2022 through the RISPCA shelter. I still do fostering and update my schedule when I know that I'll have an animal. :) Drop-Ins/Walking - Please let me know what you're looking for during the drop in and/or walk! We can go on a nice long walk or snuggle up on the couch and/or play inside. :) Boardings/Day Care - I currently live in a 3 bedroom 1800 sq ft condo on the 3rd floor. I live with 1 roommate who also loves dogs and cats and neither of us have any children. I do not have any other pets (but sometimes have foster animals like I said above) and work from home so I would love to give your pet some undivided attention. I have an unfenced yard and there are also several unfenced grassy areas near by me that your pets would love to explore and sniff around (with me, on leash of course). I also love to go to India Point Park during the weekends where they have a beautiful trail by the water and would love to bring your pets there too if that's something you'd be interested in! I would love to treat your pets like family whether that be in their home-away-from-home or on a nice walk. I will board/day care multiple dogs from the same owner, but I do not book multiple dogs from different owners without talking to both owners about it ahead of time. If your dog is not good with other animals, I can also make sure to block the time out and make sure we don't have any other animals at that time :)
“Julian is the best, Rom can be very picky with who takes care of him in my absence and he absolutely loved Julian! I also felt very comfortable with Julian being at the house, I came back to a well taken care of pup and tired too from all the fun he had with Julian. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Julian, you can be certain your pet will be in great hands!”

Mount Pleasant pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emma was incredible with my 12y/o dog reactive pittie. She was super attentive, sent tons of pictures and videos, and communicated super quickly and clearly. She was wonderful staying in my apt and was so great with my instructions for his food and walking tools. Highly recommend her dog sitting and will be reaching out to her again and often!

Sophie did a wondeful job watching our two dogs for 9 nights! She was patient with them (one is high-energy and the other is timid). She sent photos of them every day and was very proactive and responsive in her communication. I think the pups had a nice time playing in the yard and cuddling on the couch with her. She also left our house very neat and tidy, so it was pleasant to return home! I would definitely book her house sitting services again!

I had to rush down to NY and PA last minute over the NYE holiday and Luigina was the New Years miracle for my family. She responded quickly and was thorough in assessing my dogs’ needs to make sure it was a good fit for all of us. She kept me updated the whole time sending me photos of my Henry and Jesse. If you are thinking about booking with her, stop thinking about it and just do it. I promise you won’t regret it.

Jada helped us with watching our 1 year old pup on New Year’s Eve with very little advanced notice. Jada was wonderful with our little Mabel and kept us updated while we were gone. We really appreciated the help and how loving she was with our girl. Thank you!

Kaitlyn was excellent with our two dogs. She took care of them as we outlined and communicated often with us about how they were doing. Both girls settled in nicely and were comfortable with Kaitlyn! We already have Kaitlyn booked for another trip, we highly recommend her!
