I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds.

I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.

Pet care experience
I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably)

Reviews
My family vacations a lot, and Amanda is the first and only person we have in mind to watch our dogs. We’ve been traveling consistently 3 times a year since around 6 years ago and had tried other people/services for 2 years, but after 2022 its only been Amanda. None of them were as friendly and communicative as her. Our shih tzus are generally easy to take care of, but when you’re out of the house as much as we are there’ll always be some nervousness leaving them with strangers. We’re thankful we were able to find her so that we can vacation in peace, knowing our pets are being loved and taken care of even when we’re miles away.
Vera has taken care of my pets while I’ve been out of town, and she treats them like her own. She has befriended my cat and my dog both, and she is a very trustworthy sitter. She will feed my pets on time and walk my dog several times a day while also providing affection and cuddles. Vera is an amazing friend and caregiver all around!
