About: I grew up in a family that loved dogs of all kinds! Since I was a child I’ve walked, played, and cared for dogs. Currently I’m a dog mom to two big labs who I’ve had since they were puppies and have trained me well on how to take good care of furry friends. I would love to walk or sit for your pet! About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. As a part timer in nightlife, I work weekends at night. Luckily that frees up my week to be able to walk or sit for you! My superpower is sticking to the dogs routine, to set them up for success. About: I was a pet sitter when I lived in Portland, Maine, where I had regular clients, including a family with show dogs. This family had dogs, goats and cats and I watched them regularly, staying at their house. I grew up with family dogs. I now have cats and love them so much. I am currently working part time so have a lot of flexibility to tend to the needs of your beloved cats and dogs. Depending on my work schedule, I would visit morning or afternoon. I will make sure to take care of your pets and clean up any messes they make, so you'll come home to a house as clean and organized as you left it.

About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably) I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.
