About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm milking goats and cows, strategically herding animals to different pastures, and taming and befriending feral cats. This hands-on background gave me a natural ability to read animals' subtle body language and emotions. While I’m currently pet-free, I spent the last six years caring for my own beloved senior dogs (Iris, Linda, and then later Clyde), as well as pet-sitting friends’ dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I genuinely love animals' unique quirks and letting them be exactly who they are—whether shy, silly, anxious, energetic, or sweet and slow-paced. I will admit, I have a major weak spot for mellow doggios, hence my love for the geriatrics. I’m also a registered nurse with extensive clinical experience. Staying calm under pressure, noticing subtle changes, and safely administering medications is second nature to me. As a caregiver, I pride myself on being attentive, reliable, and competent (which involves knowing what I know and also what I don't know—aka knowing when to ask for help or get help). My goal is to follow your established routines, rules, and training style so your pet feels that stability and reliability while in my care. I genuinely love getting to know new animals, and I promise to provide yours with the dedicated care they need. I'm available after 6 p.m. most weekdays, Thursdays are fully open, and weekends are open unless otherwise blocked. I am a flexible person so feel free to reach out if needing care outside of listed hours and I will consider it. I live on the first floor with a walk-out porch to a mostly fenced backyard. When outdoors, pets will remain on leash for safety. Goal would be to replicate whatever structure your pet is used to at home.

About: I have been a dog owner my whole life and have loved taking care of the pets of family friends and neighbors. I have experience with a variety of ages and I have helped train multiple family dogs. I love taking my dogs on runs or just lounging around the house giving belly rubs or cuddles... and the occasional treat. I am a recent graduate of Physician Assistant school starting work in the winter. My schedule is very open as a result, and I am happy to accommodate your needs. I live in a pet friendly home with easy access to multiple parks and walking paths. I am happy to commute to your home as well if this would make things easier or your pet feel more comfortable.

About: Growing up in a family of dog-lovers, I have spent my entire life taking care of, training, and playing with amazing dogs. This has consisted of training puppies into their adulthood through positive reinforcement and recognition, as well as continuing a respectful and playful relationship with dogs as they get older. Additionally, I have looked after many of my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs throughout the years. The main thing I’ve learned is that every dog requires individualized care and attention- and this is something I’m happy to offer. I am currently attending college in Providence, and being away from home means I do not get to see my dog as much. I would love to use some of my free time to get the occasional doggy-dosage. In terms of scheduling, I am very flexible on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and weekends. Although I cannot offer housing for your pet, I am dedicated toward providing a safe and trustworthy environment wherever we may go. I will never go to a location in which either the dog (or I) feel uncomfortable.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have been caring for dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Beyond pet sitting, I’ve worked at an SPCA and at a zoo, where I gained hands-on experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals. I also study animals professionally, so understanding animal behavior and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood is something I genuinely love. I’m comfortable with animals of all personalities and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s individual routine and needs. I’m a graduate student with a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m generally available for dog walks in the mornings and evenings, and I have flexibility during the day depending on my class and research schedule. I’m also available for boarding on weekends. I’m happy to work around each pet’s usual routine and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care! I live on the top floor of a house with plenty of space for pets to relax and a small yard for some outdoor time. I also have a very friendly cat who loves dogs and other animals, so I’m comfortable caring for pets in a multi-animal home.

About: I’ve had extensive experience taking care of animals since I was a young child, regularly responsible for walking animals, and I’m the type of guy who their friends have to say not to rile up the dog because I enjoy playing! I also am a very active person, usually topping off at about 10 thousand - 15 thousand steps a day, ensuring that your pet will get as long of a walk as they need to be the best version of themselves. I currently work from home doing cybersecurity, giving me the flexibility to do house visits or walks in my area. Additionally, I either jog or walk 5-6 miles a day, allowing to ensure that your animal gets the proper exercise needed. I have the demeanor and experience to handle animals of all personality types, if they’re playful I can match their energy. If they are a calm and gentle loving animal? I can match their energy.

About: I’ve had a family dog for the past ten years (a b+w cockatoo named Oreo) and now I am in grad school without him. I am a student so I have flexible hours to walk and spend time with your pets! I am a student so I have flexible weekday and weekend hours to take care of your pets. I am a runner, so I enjoy spending time outside and navigating to nearby places. I am careful to keep my clients pet and home safe and secure. I understand that trust is a high priority in our working relationship.

About: I've lived with dogs my entire life / taken care of them when I lived at my family's home. I have looked after golden retriever/German shepherd/great pyrenees mixed with lab, Spanish greyhounds, dachshund beagle mixes. I am comfortable with dogs of any size. I've found myself able to be in tune with a dog's feelings & they are often drawn to me because of my calm nature. I find it easy to bond with dogs and feel very comfortable just hanging out with them or taking care of them. I also love spending time with dogs including playing, walking, cuddling, or just hanging out and watching tv. I have special experience with reactive dogs where I needed to alter my walking routes in order to avoid other dogs (the dog my family had had been previously abused) as well as giving dogs oral medications. My top priority is your dog's safety/happiness. When it comes to giving care I'm very good at following instructions and know how difficult it can be to finding the right fit for someone to take care of their beloved dogs. I have a strong attention to detail and would love to provide the best possible care. I work from home and have lunch breaks that can be taken anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour but am flexible. I am able to step out if need be during the day for a quick check-in on pets/am willing to do so. I start work at 8 am and finish at 4:30 pm and often go to the gym afterwards but have about 30 minutes-2 hours free that I could use to check on pets. Overall, I'm flexible with working from home! If needed I am available to stay in your home to provide 24/7 care to your pets/work from your home. I care for my pets by feeding them, walking them, playing in the backyard, and just by hanging out with them when they're tired out from the day. My full time job requires me to have a strong attention to detail/high level of accuracy so I'm very dedicated to making sure I follow instructions. The safety of dogs is my top priority. My younger sister had a service dog and when he would go out in public we would sometimes have people ask if they could pet him. We had to politely tell them that he was working/a service dog. I mention this because I have no problem making sure dogs are safe and telling others when it's not ok to interact with them if they're working/anxious dogs/they don't do well with others.

About: Lifelong animal lover, pet owner, & outdoor enthusiast currently in PA school. I would love to make your pets my study buddies for a weekend!! I am an avid hiker (I recently hiked the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu!) and would love your dog to be my buddy on nearby trails—though I love neighborhood walks, too! I grew up with basset hounds and now have 2 poodle mixes (a cockapoo and Australian labradoodle), so I have experience across the spectrum from slow sniffers to speedy sprinters. I have trained puppies in basic commands, obedience, and toilet training and have experience in AKC dog showing with cairn terriers and basset hounds. Because of my medical experience, I feel confident administering medications (including injections) if needed. Fun fact: I also have 2 pet rabbits, a lionhead named Chester & a holland lop named Ebie and I absolutely LOVE to take care of bunnies! Please feel free to request bunny care of all kinds 🐰 Walking is part of my daily routine and I would love to bring a furry friend along with me! I am in clinical rotations at the moment, so my schedule varies month to month. While I do not care for pets in my own home, I am highly sensitive to respecting the security, privacy, and safety of your home and pets.
