About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! Both me and my husband work from home and always spend tons of time with our pets including pets and walks and play time and cuddles! We have a large tard with a 6-foot fence. We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!

I only work at my other job for two days so I have plenty of time off my week to petsit whether its dogs or cats or any animal at all! About: I have been walking dogs and pet sitting in the Metrowest now for about two years. Prior to that , I raised two large, mixed-breed dogs in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I have stellar references from many happy customers. I also enjoy photographing your pet and providing you with these pictures at no cost. As a former teacher, I am loving, patient and kind and utilize my teaching skills to help me communicate with animals as well as support basic training goals. The pet sitting fee covers a 24 hour period of which I am totally committed to your “baby.” I may leave the home for an hour or two to do one other dog walk, or pick up some groceries, but I would not be away from your dog for more than three hours max, or less as determined by a discussion with pet parents. If your dog needs less time, opening up my availability to add additional walks, I would consider lowering the fee. This would be determined on a case by case basis and after a discussion with the dog parents. Pet Sitting in the pet’s home provides animals with the comfort and security of following their daily routine and remaining in a secure and familiar environment, thus alleviating any anxiety they might suffer from your absence.
About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve not lived a single day without having one or two dogs in my home. I have such a special place in my heart for dogs and no matter what kind how big, how mean, or nice it is I will make sure it is cared for and loved as much as it can be. I work part time at a nursing home in Medway, but my hours are not extremely long, and I have the flexibility to leave when needed to care for pets if they are located nearby. During the school year, I am a student at Bridgewater State University, so I will primarily be looking for pet care services in that area. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like family. I love spending time with them, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention to make sure they feel loved and not ignored. My dogs at home and I spend a lot of time on walks and hikes. I also have a fenced in backyard where they can safely run and play. I am very comfortable handling larger dogs on leash and can manage any that may pull. When I care for a pet at a client's home, I make sure they have everything they need while I am there, like fresh food and water. I also make sure they get lots of playtime and attention, and toys to keep them entertained. I will ALWAYS follow every pet's individual routine and make sure they are comfortable, safe, and cared for at all times.

“Dusty had a great time with Julie, and she was terrific. Warm and caring, really great communication throughout Dusty’s stay, which is always much appreciated. Flexible and understanding on a traffic delay I had coming to get her. Would definitely have Dusty stay again and highly recommend to anyone else looking for quality care for your pup!”
About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
