“Marc's relaxed attitude helps my dogs to stay calm. Marc is kind, and professional and communicative and I highly recommend him. My dogs have a great time with him and they come home very happy.”

“Cam did a great job taking care or our two cats while we were traveling. One of our cats is particularly difficult to deal with and she was able to persevere! We greatly thank her for that!”

I am not only caring for your pet but am respectful of your personal space and time. I am experienced in administering medication via oral, ocular, SQ, and IM. I would love to get to know your pet! I have a flexible schedule and can drop in up to the early afternoon (3pm). I work locally and have a reliable car that I can get to clients with. I will treat your home and space with the utmost respect. I will ensure your dog is secure as well as your house before completing my appointment.
“I am very happy to have met Lisa and have her take care of my two kitties while out of town. My cats are excited to see her when she visits and not just because they are hungry ;-) Lisa is kind, thoughtful and fun. I highly recommend her!”

“Eric was fantastic to work with. He was professional, personable, and prompt in providing pictures and videos after he visited Opal. He made us feel comfortable, and built a relationship with our pet. I would recommend Eric to anyone looking for a trustworthy and considerate sitter on Rover.”

About: As a dog owner my whole life I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, From senior dogs who need that little bit of extra care to young puppies who need that extra exercise and training, I will be your furry friends new bestie ! I am a stay at home mom and have lots of time to take care and play with All the animals. I like to go out for morning and afternoon walks and lots of play time. I have a fenced in yard with lots of room for running and playing . I also have a 3 year old miniature dauchand who loves to run and play with new friends .

About: I have always been that guy on the street asking to pet your dog. I love my 2 year old Doxin mutt, and I am ready to share a bit of that love with other dogs. I am available most week days and considering my dog has gone for 10 mile walks, I can handle a solid walk with yours! I have played sports all my life and love to be outdoors. I have worked as a manager for the last 4 years of my life and I am looking to do something that makes me happy and if dogs do not make you happy then I am really unsure of what possibly can. I will take all the photos you would like of your puppy when I am with them since I would love them to put a smile on your face as they do mine. I work mostly evenings but my young daughter and I are free and together most of the days while my wife is at work. So the two of us love to go on adventures to go walk pooches or just be outside. We are mostly free mornings and middays however, since I am off Sunday Monday those days we are free for anything. I want to make dogs feel welcome in my home so I will do whatever they need to be comfortable between walks and playing or relaxing. We have lots of beds and rugs and sunny spots and we all love getting out of the house to be active. Every single dog is different but most all them love some good scratches.
“Just the sweetest! Our very shy doggies loved Lucy. She went at a speed that was comfortable for them. Reliable and sent lots of updates and kept great notes!”

“Cannot recommend Sara enough! She was incredibly thorough and sent so many pictures and videos. We were out of town for about a month so she even offered to help with the plants and bringing in the mail, etc. She is incredibly kind, professional, and very obviously LOVES animals. It was such a relief to know my little buddy was in such capable hands. Thanks again Sara!!”

“Jennifer took care of my 2 kitties. She provided updates with photos of the girls. Sometimes they can be shy and hide, but they both came out for her during each visit.”

“Phoebe watched our dog for the first time this past weekend. She managed to win her over pretty quickly. She did drop in visits. She was prompt and kept us informed the whole time. She used the Rover app to let us know when she came and how long she stayed, so no worry on our part. She also set lots of photos. We will definitely have her back!”

“Rachel is a terrific dog sitter! She became instant best friends with our dog. When I got home after a long day, Oakley looked at me with eyes saying "I had the best day ever!". Rachel is very nice, has great communication, and obviously a lot of experience.”

I have extensive experience walking dogs and always make sure to prioritize your pet's comfort. When I arrive at your home, I bring a calm energy and let your dog get to know me completely at their own pace.
“Rachel was so so great…caring, loving, kind to our black lab Rosie. She did drop in visits while we were away for 4 days. Extremely reliable and went above and beyond. She even gave Rosie her dog’s slow feeding bowl to see if that would help her eat a bit slower. Would recommend Rachel without hesitation. Thank you so much for taking care of our girl!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Stow
Allyson was top notch! Our younger dog immediately warmed up to her when she visited before our trip, which is a rarity for our younger dog. We knew right then our dogs would be in great, caring hands for the week we were away. Our older dog has daily medicine he takes orally and Allyson was comfortable giving it to him. Allyson was reliable, a great communicator, and went above and beyond her responsibilities. Allyson has a warm, caring personality and was sensitive to our dogs' needs. We will definitely have her care for our dogs again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
