About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats in my life. I also volunteered at an animal shelter, feeding and playing with cats, feeding and playing with dogs, and feeding and playing with rabbits! I am a full-time teacher, so I have availability in the summer, weekends, and on school breaks. I can do drop in visits and/or walks! When I am going in to other’s homes, I am respectful of their space. I will make sure it is as clean as it was when I arrived.

About: Hello, my name is James! I don't remember a time where I did not live with a dog around the house. My first dog was a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever, “duck toller for short”. named Trouble. He loved to guard around house and bark into the darkness. My current dogs are a pair of tiny Australian terriers named Chaos and Nemesis. They love to chase the wildlife in our forest, but are always down for pets in snuggling up. Given my experience growing up with dogs I hope that I can get to know your canine friends and spend more of my time with the creatures I love. Whether its a quick check in, a dog walk, or few hours of pet/housesitting ; I have plenty of time in my schedule to make for pet care. Allyson was top notch! Our younger dog immediately warmed up to her when she visited before our trip, which is a rarity for our younger dog. We knew right then our dogs would be in great, caring hands for the week we were away. Our older dog has daily medicine he takes orally and Allyson was comfortable giving it to him. Allyson was reliable, a great communicator, and went above and beyond her responsibilities. Allyson has a warm, caring personality and was sensitive to our dogs' needs. We will definitely have her care for our dogs again!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
