Linda N.

“My dog Turna was immediately at ease with Linda soon after she arrived to house sit for the day. Linda was always in communication with me about how Turna was doing and sent several pictures. She was also accommodating with last minute small changes in arrival time. My house was exactly as I left it. I cannot think of anyway that her stay could have gone better. Turna has a new friend!”

Lauren V.

“Lauren is amazing! She made us feel comfortable leaving our dogs for the weekend and was so good with them. She’s kind, patient, and attentive to their needs. Having dogs who are loud and on high alert when new people enter our home, Lauren handled it well and the dogs warmed up quickly to her. She’s great with giving medicine and dealing with their sometimes tricky bed time routines. The photos she took were adorable, too! Highly recommend her for any type of dog care.”

Meaghan B.
“Meg was the ultimate dog mom to our furry child Ellie. Ellie, a bigger dog (75 lbs), loved to go on big beach walks and nature hikes, and Meg was always up for the task. She handled her with care although Ellie sometimes struggled with reactivity. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet with the utmost care, and provide engaging and enjoyable walks, Meg is the perfect choice!”

Eric K.
“Eric has cared for our pup, Badger, multiple times. Every time he has, Badger has been excited to see Eric and borderline doesn't even miss us. He has been very attentive with Badger's unique diet and habits. I will always feel comfort leaving our fur child with Eric.”

John D.
About: Former Great Dog Rescue New England foster parent. Big lover of dogs and friendly cats. Strong diversity and length of pet care experience. Growing up, I've had the following animals: three dogs (Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, hound mix, golden retriever), an indoor/outdoor poly-dactyl barn cat (who lived 20+ yrs), hamsters, a gerbil, guinea pigs, kept chickens for 5 years, finches, a cockatiel, a lizard, baby-sat a ball python for a week. While I don't have formal training certifications/experience, I did successfully train my 9-month old Rotty/Shepherd puppy on the invisible fence we had when I was 10yrs old. I've house/pet sat on multiple occasions - it included taking care of a cat, a duck, some chickens, and of course dogs (one of which got sprayed by a skunk on day one and needed multiple baths!). Give me a try! I am very trustworthy. I am new to Rover, but very experienced with animals, especially dogs of all kinds and sizes. I think I could make fast friends with your pet! My daily routine would be according to your pet's routine. I live in an apartment that doesn't allow animals outside of a tank, so I can't host pets. At a client's home, I would follow whatever protocols/preferences they request in terms of safety. Always keep the animal on leash when outside and not in a fenced in enclosure. If the client requests the dog be crated at night, that is easily done.

Sarah W.

“Thanks so much Sarah! So professional and went above and beyond ?”

Sam D.

“Safe to say Sam and our dog become close friends really quick. My dog is very energetic and can be a lot sometimes so we definitely needed someone with the same energy level who can handle her. He was with Zoey for 2 weeks in the meantime housesitting and I cant say anything bad. He was sending us update almosy everyday, pictures attached and I couldnt be happier with the friendship they had. Everything was in order when we got back, Zoey was well fed, happy pup. Apartment was just the way we left. We appreciate your work Sam.”

Olivia C.

“Olivia took great care of our two dogs. I highly recommend her!”

Sydney H.

“Sydney watched my 3 year old dog for 6 days and was truly amazing. She’s easily the best sitter I’ve found on Rover. She provided tons of pictures and communication, wore out my energetic pup, and left the house spotless- even started laundry! I will definitely be booking with her again!”

Dan R.

“The dogs look great! The house is exactly as I left it. I can’t thank Dan enough for me out. I was able to enjoy my time away knowing that everything was taken care of.”

Shana M.

“Shana was great to work with! She met us in advance to learn about our routine and our 3 girls took to her immediately. We came home from our trip to happy puppies and clean house.”

Lucy J.
“Lucy has been babysitting my little terrier for over 5 years. She is responsible, responsive, attentive, and a loving canine caregiver. My terrier has ailments with his musculoskeletal system. In addition to his medication, he is on a non - non-traditional diet (Dr Harvey - extra work! plus complex proteins that vary everyday) and has to be watched to prevent certain actions that would hurt him further. Lucy does a tremendous job with caregiving in the aspect of being attentive to directions, observant of my terrier, and responsive to giving me feedback while I am at work. Furthermore, I do not stress while I am at work knowing Lucy is doing a good job caring for my ailing terrier and keeping him comfortable and happy at the same time. I highly recommend her.”

Yana B.
“First and foremost, Yana is an animal and nature lover at heart. Whether it’s taking him on daily walks exploring in the woods or relaxing with him on the couch, Yana gives her own pup the best life possible. Yana is one of the most adventurous, generous, and positive people I have ever met! She is reliable and communicative; when she says she is going to do something, she gets it done! She is also flexible, open-minded and can discern the needs of others quite quickly. I wholeheartedly endorse Yana for this position. Please contact me with further questions.”

Christina I.
“Christina is a highly responsible, caring animal lover who would make a remarkably good sitter/walker. She adores her own pups and takes excellent care of them. No one would ever need worry about a dog she was caring for.”

Anne M.

“Anne stayed at my place for 5 nights with Ellie, my 45 pound mutt, and took great care of my girl! Ellie can’t wait to see her again. I would totally recommend Anne for your pet needs and will be booking her again very soon:)”

Adrienn R.

“Adrienn, Love animals and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care !!”
