Availability
From September 2026 through December 2026, I’ll be completing mandatory in-person training for my full-time job and will typically be in the office Monday–Friday from approximately 8 AM–5 PM. During this time, I’ll still be available for many house-sitting and pet care bookings, particularly for pets who are comfortable being home during a standard workday. I’ll be available before and after work for walks, meals, playtime, medications, and plenty of attention and companionship. After my training period ends in December, I’ll return to a remote/hybrid work schedule, which will give me much more flexibility to be home with pets throughout the day. Every pet has different needs, so please feel free to reach out even if you’re unsure whether my schedule will work for your pet! I’m always happy to discuss their routine, how long they’re comfortable being alone, and whether I’d be a good fit for their care.

A typical day
A typical day includes fun walks in familiar surroundings where pets can explore safely. I engage them with playtime that matches their energy levels—whether it's chasing a ball, playing with their favorite toys, or just enjoying some cuddle time. Regular feeding is done according to your schedule, and I always make sure they have fresh water. I love to provide enrichment activities like gentle training exercises or interactive play to keep them mentally and physically stimulated.

I have been passionate about caring for pets since I was young, starting with my guinea pigs, which I lovingly cared for over nine years. Their daily needs taught me responsibility and patience. I have also had my own dog for eight years, providing constant companionship and learning firsthand about proper training and care. Additionally, I have experience pet-sitting for friends and neighbors, taking care of both cats and dogs, ensuring they are happy, well-fed, and loved while their owners are away. My lifelong experience with animals has equipped me with the skills and compassion needed to provide exceptional pet care.

Jody did a great job for us while we were away on vacation. Our 2 dogs enjoyed her company and she even worked with our pup on walking etiquette. We left rather detailed instructions, including watering outside plants, and she followed them to a T. I would highly recommend booking with Jody and we will be also!
