With over a decade of hands-on experience as a dedicated pet owner and caregiver, I bring a wealth of knowledge in pet care, particularly in the nurturing of dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats. Currently, I share my home with a lively Chihuahua and two feline companions, while also extending my care to several clients' beloved canines. Additionally, I have undergone training in positive-reinforcement techniques and clicker training methods. Before commencing services, I typically offer a complimentary "Meet and Greet" session. This serves as an invaluable opportunity for us to meet face-to-face, allowing me to familiarize myself with your pets and home environment. Moreover, it's an ideal time to exchange pertinent information such as door codes, keys, and entry instructions. Please note, for services requiring travel to your location, such as dog walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, that rates may vary depending on the distance from my residence in Marlborough.

Jackie takes excellent care of our sweet needy dogs and sends multiple updates per day when we travel. They are used to being with people since my husband works from a home office. I’m so glad to have found her!

Jacqueline was kind, communicative and thorough. She brought wet food to my cat upstairs when she was too nervous to come out to make sure she ate, and let me know the time she gave my cat her medicine so I knew the timing for the next dose (super helpful).

My schedule is structured to accommodate pet care seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. With several regular pet clients whom I walk during the week, I may be away for 4-6 hours at a time, ensuring each pet receives the attention and exercise they require.

A typical day kicks off with ensuring all pets are fed, hydrated, and taken out for a morning walk or play session. Throughout the day, I tailor engaging activities to suit their preferences, from lively games of fetch and tug-of-war to stimulating puzzle toys for mental exercise. Scheduled walks offer not only physical activity but also a chance for fresh air. Indoor playtime might involve interactive games like hide-and-seek or skill-building training sessions. Cuddle sessions and relaxation moments are crucial for fostering bonds and ensuring their contentment. Each pet's unique personality and energy levels dictate our activities, ensuring a rewarding experience for all involved.
