About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12. I have 2 of my own at the moment as well as spending a lot of time volunteering at a local shelter and have met many different breeds. I am more than happy to watch over a sweet senior or a bouncy puppy, just let me know! I'm currently taking classes online, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I'm available most days to pet sit or take the pups for walks. I would love to do a 'meet and greet' with your fur babies if you would like. Feel free to message me as much as needed!

“Kayla was great for a drop in visit for my pups, and on fairly short notice. She’s quick to communicate with and my pups seem to love her. Got some great photos from the visit. Will definitely book her again!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with plenty of “dog auntie” energy 🐾 I’m patient, attentive, and especially comfortable with senior pets. I can administer medications, follow feeding routines, give baths, go on walks, and provide plenty of playtime, cuddles, and companionship. I’m also currently saving toward surgery and treatment for my own 10-year-old pup, so every booking means a little extra to us. ❤️ I’ll care for your pet with the same love and attention I give my own. Pet care already fits naturally into my routine. I’m available before and after work, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to plan walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and cuddles around your pet’s normal schedule. I’m big on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow instructions carefully, keep doors and leashes secure, monitor eating and behavior, and always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and affection.
About: Hi! I’m Monica — a lifelong animal lover and someone who has a dog of my own! With years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and everything in between, I’m here to give your pet the same love and attention I’d give my own. I’ve worked with a range of pet personalities: the shy ones, the high-energy pups, and senior pets with medication needs. Whether it’s a daily walk, overnight sitting, or just some companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I engage with pets through cuddles, play, walks, runs, potty breaks, etc to maintain consistency! I adapt to each pet’s individual schedule to ensure they feel safe and at home always! I’d love if sometimes I could bring my golden retriever mookie if possible!!! My home is pet- friendly and provides a welcoming atmosphere! I will treat your loved one as if it were my own! I maintain the pet’s routine in their familiar space to help reduce stress or any anxiety.
About: Hi there! I’m a current veterinary student at Tufts University and a former veterinary assistant with three summers of clinical experience. I’ve cared for animals of all shapes and would love to care for your pet too. I’ve grown up with big dogs so large breeds and high-energy pups don’t intimidate me. To my mother’s dismay, I brought home snake while I was in middle school and have experience caring for lizards, turtles, and tortoises too. During my undergrad I spent time working on ranches and farms. And, finally, in my post grad I fostered cats of all ages. Basically, I can take care of whatever animal you have (except for maybe a tiger…). I’m trained in safely administering medications of all types (oral, topical, injectable), and am comfortable supporting pets with chronic or special needs. I’m big on reading body language and will always respect your pet’s needs, whether that’s extra snuggles or some alone time. My goal is to ensure that both you and your pet feel safe and comfortable. Communication is huge for me. Expect plenty of photo updates while you’re away (unless you don’t want that of course). I have reliable transportation and take pride in being punctual. Outside of school, I’m fairly active. I spent my summer hiking around Colorado and am trying to maintain a frequent physical activity while in school. I’d love to add walking your dog into my schedule. If I sound like a potential fit, feel free to reach out! I would love to meet you and your pet. I am a full-time veterinary student with classes on weekdays. Most of my required labs take place in the afternoon, and I typically have a lunch break from around 11:50-1:00. This allows me for some shorter drop-ins around lunch if you are close to the Tufts Campus. Because of my school schedule, I’m most available in the later afternoons (anytime after 5pm), overnight, and early morning. I have some required classes that start at 8am, but our schedules are constantly changing. House sitting works especially well for me as it allows me to give your pet attention in the morning and evenings while keeping their routine consistent. (I also get a study buddy who won’t judge my old fashioned note taking). Due to currently living with a roommate’s dog, I am unable to care for pets in my home. When caring for people’s pets in their home, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible to keep things predictable and as stress-free for their pet as possible. I will make sure that I follow all house rules, keep a safe and clean environment, and give the pet lots of attention to make sure that they’re healthy and cared for. I provide regular updates and photos so that owners know their pet is in good-hands while they are away.
“Lingwen was super responsive and communicative, it was great that she was able to accommodate a last minute request. She also did a great job with the drop-in visit and took great care of our cat, I would definitely recommend her!”

I’m currently not working at the time and with the weather slowly warming up I have a lot of free time to walk your pups , play ,etc ! Keeping your pets safe is my number 1 priority! I don’t have a yard unfortunately but a lot of parks and trails along Quinsigamond where I live along with a great field that I go to often with my dog and great neighbors with great dogs !
About: I’m a caring, reliable dog lover with experience caring for multiple dogs at once, plus owning a dog myself. Your pet will receive lovingly, attentive care! I am a stay at home mom looking for some extra work, I’d prefer to work afternoons/night but I am flexible if other arrangements are needed! I focus on keeping cats comfortable and stress-free in their own home while their owners are away. I follow your cat’s normal routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any special care instructions. I always move calmly and respectfully around cats, especially those that may be shy or anxious. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or health and will communicate with you if anything seems unusual. I also send regular photo updates so you know your cat is safe and well cared for during every visit.
“Leah was absolutely wonderful. Took great care of my cat while I was away. Played with her and sent me pictures as well. Highly recommend. The whole process couldn’t have gone any smoother!”

“Sara was amazing with my cat Sophie. This was my first time using a pet service and I was nervous about the prospect until I met Sara and immediately felt at ease. The whole experience for me and my cat went very smoothly and I have already booked Sara for another time in a few weeks. Thank you Rover and of course Sara.”

About: I have experience working with many different animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and even cattle. I love spending time with animals and currently working as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic. I have lots of experience pet sitting and dog walking and also have experience working around livestock so no dog is too big! Walking your dog will be of great enjoyment for both myself and your pet and I will work to create a bond between me and your pet so that we both make the most of our time. I can’t wait to work with you and your fur baby! I go to school full time, so pet sitting and dog walking is something I do on the side, so I can spend more time with animals! If possible I like to meet dogs for the first time with their owner around to lower their stress and slightly away from their home if possible (particularly if they are known to be protective of their homes).
About: I've always had dogs growing up, as well as my extended family and friends. They've consistently been an important part of my life and I take pride in caring for them, and interacting with them more than people! I am currently working part time, so I have more free time to spend with not only my dog, but other families and friends that need assistance with their pets as well! I personally have a fenced in backyard that my dog uses, but I have experience in the past with dog-sitting for people without the luxury of a fenced in yard. I have worked with smaller lap dogs, but also large dogs as well that need confident dog sitters/walkers who can take them on longer walks and more challenging enrichment.
About: I absolutely love animals of all kinds. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters and fish. Animals are the kindest beings in the universe and deserve to be treated as such. I’m highly athletic so I love going on walks but I’m also down to just hang around the house and attune to the animals desires. I’ve trained puppies before and have also cared for senior dogs and their specific needs. It’s important you and your animal feel comfortable with the person you let in your home. I’m a recent college graduate from SUNY Purchase and am working towards a career in Dance Production and Arts Management. I love to float around, travel and explore new places. Going outside, being active and hanging with some kind creatures is an absolute joy for me. Good for the Soul! I’m very open to discussing prices and availability. Reach out! I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Dance Production and Arts Management. I am currently on the hunt for work as I could got back from working in Colorado full time. My schedule is wide open. I regularly take the animals out and walks, make sure they are getting exercised, fed, and to drink lots of water. I tend to them personally as each animal is different and make sure they are getting the attention they deserve and crave.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
