About: I have have experience owning dogs from chihuahua size to vizsla size, and experience fostering/house sitting everything in between. I love dogs around here, and will be treated like family. Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.

About: My husband and I live with our 7 and 4 yr old girls in a sidewalk lined Westborough neighborhood. In your reservation, please mention any behavioral patterns or phobias. (Does your dog take a while to do business outside? Does he or she squat several times? How long can he or she go without potty breaks? Do we have a runner?) Bring your pup, I'll bring the love and care! P.S. Please bring a crate for your dog if in the past, your dog has gotten into things and chewed. Many dog owners find themselves surprised that their dogs may exhibit destructive behavior at a sitter's house that they do not exhibit at home, like chewing and tearing things up. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. During the weekdays, the house sits empty anywhere 3-5hrs. Your pet must be OK with that. I grew up with dogs: Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Dachshunds, Chinese Crested, and Silky Terriers are the dogs my family members have owned and loved in my lifetime. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.

I am currently working part time during the week but they are not long shifts so I will have a flexible schedule to be able to watch your pets. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. On walks, I make sure leashes are secure and choose safe routes that fit your dog’s pace and energy level. During drop in visits, I’ll refresh food and water, give plenty of love and attention, and ensure everything is safe and secure before I leave.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12. I have 2 of my own at the moment as well as spending a lot of time volunteering at a local shelter and have met many different breeds. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since birth- literally. My first dog used to sleep in my crib with me! I’ve had 12 dogs so far throughout my life, and each one has taught me important lessons about love and responsibility. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. “We originally asked Caroline if she could walk and feed our two dogs as we were planning to a long day trip. However, we woke up to find our oldest dog not doing very well. It turned out that he had cancer and that we would have to put him down. It was a long agonizing day trying of running tests and considering options before finally deciding that the most humane treatment would be to euthanize. Through all this, we are thankful to Caroline who took care of our remaining fur children--a dog and a cat. It was a great relief to not have to think or worry about them so we could focus on our oldest dog in his time of need.”

About: I grew up with a dog from the age 3-16! My best friend has a Boxer and I've been taking care and watching him frequently since he was a puppy! I also worked at an office where the owners had two dogs, a small chihuahua and a greater Swiss mountain dog. I took them out for frequent walks & fed them, as well as watched them when the owners weren't around. I'm currently a Stay-Home-Mother. My son is 3 years old, so the pet must be toddler friendly. I am home most weekdays. I can be busy on weekends, but if I have an early heads-up, I can accommodate. I am flexible during the week and have a car to drive to my client's houses! Marbles has a couple specialized needs that she easily accommodated (i.e., twice daily pill administration and avoidance of other dogs). Marbles tends to be anxious when without us but I could tell she felt at ease with Bridget from the pictures that she shared with us. We will rebook for sure!”

About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

Her retriever got along great with our dog and we were very pleased with the level of care provided for our pup when it came to food accommodations (our pup gets anxious when we leave and struggles to eat sometimes). Needless to say, Sarah went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more appreciative of the extraordinary care for our dog as well as all of the communication and photos she provided during the stay. Lastly, Sarah was quite flexible and accommodating with meet and greets, drop off times and pickup times. 10/10 and highly recommend! Thank you Sarah!”
