“Jill did a great job She had to fill in at the last minute do to an illness of our original sitter She had to meet and greet on her own The house was left in great shape and she did a great job taking care of our dog I would highly recommend her”

“This is our first time using Rover for in home sitting. We could not be happier with our experience with Julie-Anne! Julie-Anne was so wonderful and attentive to our Penny! She has a gentle presence about her which seemed to immediately put Penny at ease. Penny has separation anxiety - and so is likely to retreat to our bed waiting for us to come home. Julie-Anne was extremely sensitive to that - and seemed to know the right amount of giving her space and bringing her out and engaging with her. By the end of the weekend Penny was jumping in Julie-Ann's bed! Julie-Anne kept us informed the entire weekend with cute photos of them hanging out, playing, taking walks, squirrel watching etc It was such a comfort to know that Penny was in such caring and kind hands!”

“When we met prior to the booking our two dogs took to her immediately. Jen stayed with them for a week. She sent photos and videos which we truly appreciated as we knew our girls were given the best attention while we were away. This was our first time away and leaving the dogs with a stranger. Turns out Jen was more like a family member. We would definitely contact Jen again for any future sitting needs. Thanks Jen. We and the girls loved your time with them. Lou and Nancy.”

“Paulina was a great sitter to our Bella. She was super professional and made sure to ask all the questions she needed to know in order to take care of our puppy. Correspondence was great throughout the night, she sent us updates with pictures which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Paulina 😊!”

“Sammy did a wonderful job caring for our pets: Zeiss, Freya, Reggie and the chickens! She was excellent about communicating daily by reaching out with questions or concerns, and providing a daily summary of how things went. In addition, she left a final day's report to let us know if we were running low on any supplies. I found Sammy to be respectful, communicative, responsible and she left the house neat and clean. The ONLY room for improvement would be if Freya was walked on her leash; - she is a puller and strong willed though, so I understand why! Sammy was wonderfully patient with Freya and her escapades of escaping our yard, and we worked together to find the right solution for keeping her safe and getting outdoor time. I can tell our cat loved the attention he got and I think he misses Sammy!”

About: I am a huge animal lover. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, and small caged animals. I love them all. As an adult I have always been the go-to care taker when friends or family needed. In addition to this hands on experience being a sitter I have also worked in an animal shelter and gained a lot of knowledge in not only caring for but some training techniques as well. I know that your pet is your everything and that’s what brought you here. Rather than finding a facility that provides boarding you want your pet to not have anxiety while you’re gone. You want them to feel happy safe and an overall at-ease at home type of feeling. When I do drop in visits I don’t just take your pet to go out to the bathroom, I’ll spend time cuddling them if they are a cuddle bug and fill their need for affection while you are away. I am familiar with various temperaments and good at learning the animals comfort zone and some animals want their space. This goes for cats too. I offer complimentary meet and greet and will come to you so I can learn all your preferences about how you would like things to go while you are away. I’ll take notes so I will make sure things are done according to your specifications. My Schedule: My schedule is flexible so your pet’s schedule is my schedule. I work around what your pet’s needs are. Caring for your pets is my full time job so I give every pet my full, not rushed attention. Safety & Security: I have security cameras in my home and I own an suv so if an emergency were to occur, and taking them to the hospital was ever needed my car is very safe and pet friendly. I have a Great Dane so my back seat is already set up for dogs and a large very back area for crates or carriers.

“It was great having Mo stay at our house over the long weekend. We were sad to not have our pups camping with us but it was nice to know they were in good hands! Received many great photos of our pets relaxing around the house and eating meals. Came home to no mess and happy animals. Would definitely hire her again in the future!”

“Jackie was absolutely amazing, I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. We have two Siberian Huskies that can be a handful, but she handled them with such ease. Jackie was communicative and sent enough pictures and updates where we felt comfortable and informed, but gave us enough space where we weren’t bombarded about the dogs the whole time we were away. I honestly didn’t worry about my dogs for even a minute from the moment we left, which is a first for me. We came home to two tired pups and a super clean house! I’d highly recommend Jackie to anyone I know.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for pets of all kinds, from playful puppies to calm senior dogs. My approach is always rooted in patience, consistency, and building a bond with each pet I look after. Whether it's going for a fun walk, providing playtime in the yard, or ensuring that your pet gets their meals on time, I prioritize their needs and comfort. What sets me apart as a sitter/walker is my ability to stay attentive to the unique needs of each pet. I’m comfortable with special requirements, like senior dogs needing slower walks or pets with medical needs that require extra care. I focus on keeping pets engaged and happy while you're away, and I communicate regularly with updates, so you know your furry friend is in good hands. I am currently in nursing school to become an RN, my schedule is very flexible! I have classes on Monday and Wednesday but am free any other day to fit the needs of you and your pets! When caring for pets in my home or yours, safety is always my top priority. If I'm sitting in your home, I ensure your pet’s environment remains familiar and stress-free. I stick to their usual routines, whether it's walk times, feeding schedules, or quiet time. I will respect your house like it is my own. If I’m walking your dog, I always use a leash and make sure the walking area is safe—whether that means sticking to quieter routes or avoiding distractions that might cause stress or safety issues. I ensure that your pet gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, while always watching for signs of fatigue or discomfort. I also bring water to keep them hydrated on longer walks. Trust is built through clear, open communication, and I send regular updates and pictures so you always feel connected to your pet while you're away. Whether it's walking, or sitting in your home, I treat every pet like they're my own, ensuring they're happy, safe, and loved.

“James took great care of Onyx while I was away on vacation. He kept me posted with plenty of updates, photos and videos so I could see my pup happily playing and exploring the neighborhood.”

“Emerie was awesome. She in my Siberian husky Miley Rose went for walks went to play in parks and got to live at home where she’s happiest. I will definitely look for Emerie to watch Miley on my next trip.”

“Lydia stayed with my elderly dogs for a weekend. They were not stressed and were almost not happy to see us return. That is when you know the dogs liked the sitter! Gracie had a couple of recent health problems to deal with and Lydia took care of it with no complaints or even raising an eyebrow.”

“We are so grateful we found Chelsea to watch our dogs for the week! The meet and greet was very helpful to get to know her and tell her our dogs routine. Our dogs looked like they were getting all the snuggles and love while we were gone. She even took two ticks off our behavioral dog while we were gone! Thank you again Chelsea for keeping us updated and trying to stick to our dogs routines.”

About: I've raised & trained 4 dogs and have taken care of neighbors pets along with my adult children's dogs. You have to live it and experience it in order to receive the rewards, handle the challenges & overall personalities of different breeds to be a successful care giver. My young adult children call me the Dog Whisperer. I'm retired in great shape and constantly do 2-3 mile hikes with dogs and they receive my undivided attention. Looking to bring some happiness and comfort to dogs, while allowing their owners the freedom & peace of mind knowing they have the best care possible. I'm retired and don't travel often. My wife is an RN in the local school district and we really only do occasional trips through out New England. She also works the school summer programs, so I have a lot of free time and open to all hours of the day and night. Prefer to take care of pets at owners home, but can make an occasional exception. I spend a lot of time at different parks like Hopkinton State, Veterans Freedom in Westboro, and other natural conservation sites.

“Very conscientious, caring and responsible. She was communicative throughout the weekend with updates and photos. I would have her back any time!!”

“Julius did an amazing job watching my two dogs overnight. He was extremely professional and agreed to meet my dogs prior staying over with them. One of my dogs can be very temperamental with new people, but Julius was able to quickly earn his trust. I received regular updates from Julius and he was very responsive. Both of my dogs received great care and were very happy with Julius. I'll be using Julius for future bookings!”

About: I grew up with my dog, Mandy, who I have looked after for 11 years and more to come, and she is always smiling and I like to make sure she has freedom. I work part-time, so I can walk your dogs anytime during the day and even some nights of the week as well! You can count on me! I am offering walks for dogs and I will make sure your pet has fun, freedom and lots of treats! I like to make sure all animals get a chance to explore and sniff around wherever they like.

About: My favorite activity in the world is hanging out with dogs. I grew up with a dog and have been around dogs my whole childhood. I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors dogs throughout my life. I love walking and hiking and I will give your dog all the love and attention they need! I go to school at UC Berkeley, but I’m home in Massachusetts from June 1st to the end of August. I am super active and love to bring dogs along on my runs, walks, and hikes, if that is something your dog enjoys/is able to do! If not, I also love to be at home :) whatever fits best for your pup. I love to walk, so I’ll be walking your dog plenty! Also, play time is important and I prioritize making sure your pet gets that, whether that be in the house or in a park. I live around many accessible and beautiful nature trails which me and your pup will definitely be exploring! I prioritize staying with your dog all day so they aren’t left alone. My goal is to make this stay as easy as possible for you and your dog!

6. Joiee S.
“Joiee has been a great addition to my support for my cats, Callie 15yo and Moon 3yo. When I go away whether it be a day or week I can count on her. She not only feeds them but makes sure they get plenty of love. My cats are very skittish around most people, but she comes in and she will brush Callie and pat Moon. She will spend time with them which has helped them come out and feel more comfortable around her. If I want, she will text me or I can text her at any time to check in. I have seen her with her own and other dogs, she is kind and thoughtful in general and it extends to her pet care as well. She takes an interest and is present. I would recommend her as a pet sitter.”

9. Sofia B.
“Sofia has from a very young age been very compassionate with pets. She grew up in a home with several dogs and cats. She was lucky enough to be involved in helping our black lab Natasha give birth to 3 litters of puppies. She was very involved for helping care for those puppies until they went to their forever homes. We currently have 2 dogs (Rocky, a black lab & Carmine, a carne corso) she is confident in walking them and they are very obedient to her commands. The 2 cats we have are very well cared for because of Sofia's loving approach. She treats all animals with extreme love and care. When my husband and I travel we never have a doubt that our pets will be taken great care of.”
