“Many thanks Jessica for taking care of my rescue boy. I know he will be glad to see me home after 5 nights of taking care of my daughter's rescue dog from Hawaii”

“Xuni was wonderful with my dog. She was diligent and attentive, and on time to all of the visits. She successfully gave her her morning pills and provided a lot of care! She was great with communication. My dog is large and can’t be around other dogs, and Xuni was able to navigate that well on the walks, along with her anxiety. I would definitely have her care for my dog again in the future!”

“Maya does a great job taking care of our cat Onion each time we’ve gone away. She keeps us in the loop and he always seems happy and well taken care of when we come home.”

About: I’ve been the primary caregiver for my own dog, Nelson, and my family cat, Luna, for the past seven years. In addition, I started my own dog walking business over three years ago and have had the opportunity to care for dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I’m comfortable administering medications with clear instructions, following detailed care routines, and making sure every pet receives the attention they deserve. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets the same way you do, you’ve come to the right place. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a senior dog who needs a slower pace, or a cat who simply wants a calm companion while you’re away, I believe every animal deserves to be treated like family. I’m currently working toward a career in veterinary medicine by completing my pre-veterinary coursework. This fall I’ll be returning to school part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. My goal isn’t just to watch your pet—it’s to become someone both you and your pet are excited to see again. Nothing means more to me than earning your trust and building lasting relationships with the families I work with. When you return home, I want you to feel completely confident that your pet was cared for with kindness, patience, and genuine love every single day. Although I’m unable to board pets in my own home, I have experience providing overnight house sitting and in-home pet care. I know how important it is for many pets to stay in the comfort of their own environment, and I’m always happy to care for them where they feel safest. Most importantly, I understand that when you leave your pet with someone, you’re placing an incredible amount of trust in them. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, loved, and receiving the same level of care they’re used to at home.
About: I’ve had dogs by my side since childhood and spent years horseback riding — so caring for animals is second nature for me! I adore dogs and cats of all personalities, and I bring a fun and upbeat energy to every walk. Whether your pup loves adventures (parks, trails, hikes, and swims!) or prefers a calm and leisurely stroll, I make sure they are safe, happy, and having fun. My four year old mix, Opie, can vouche for all the fun adventures☺️ I’m a local educator with a flexible schedule — typically free throughout the summer, plus evenings and weekends during the school year. Because I live and work locally, fitting walks into my daily routine is easy, and I’m able to offer consistent, reliable care for your pets. I often find myself heading home on my lunch breaks to give my own pup some extra attention. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. My own yard is fully fenced in and always use secure leashes, follow your pet’s routine, and stay aware of surroundings during every walk. I’ve learned over the years just how important understanding your pets needs, warning signals, and comfort is, especially when out in public!
“Nicole was great with my cat Hallie! Hallie is a very sweet and loving cat, but also very skittish around strangers. In a few short days, Nicole was able to gain her trust and Hallie would hang out with her. Nicole was very quick with responding to messages, particularly when I had questions or concerns, especially when Hallie was found to have some health issues less than a week before I was going out of town. Hallie seemed much happier and more energetic when I came back than when I left. I attribute that to Nicole taking such great care of her.”

“Ashley was amazing! So incredibly kind and attentive to our fur babies. She was very patient and aware of their body language which is super important to us as our kitties are quite skittish and slow to warm up. But by the end of her visits they had definitely warmed up. We would recommend Ashley to anyone looking for their babies to be well loved!”
“I am very grateful to Kevin for watching our four dogs while we were out of town. He was very attentive and patient with all our questions. You could tell that the dogs felt very comfortable with him because of his kind, gentle nature. Thank you Kevin!”

“Nicole was my 1st EVER experience using rover or any dog walking/sitting etc… app, and the experience could not have been better! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
