“Julia took great care of our dogs! We have an older Jack Russell and a younger deaf & anxious Jack. They are wonderful dogs but require a little more work. Julia was wonderful with both. She sent updates and pictures and we could tell the dogs were comfortable and at ease with her. Julia came over earlier for a meet and greet and was very friendly & kind. We highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs, I was responsible for walking them, feeding them, making sure they had enough water, and playing with them! I have worked with reactive dogs who require muzzles and being separated from other dogs. I have a dog of my own as well, Benny! Benny is a Whoodle and we do a lot of training, he recently graduated from his Canine Good Citizen Advanced class! I have been an animal lover my whole life, and having my summers off working in education allows me to spend time doing something I love! Starting June 17th my school year ends. I will be working part time Tues-Fri 10-3 ish but other than that I am free! Am happy to be per diem or on a weekly schedule. It is my goal to accommodate and match the dogs schedule. I will make sure I reach the needs of any and all dogs in my care, depending on how long their walks are, or quantities of food. I will make sure the dogs are safe and secure within my care!
About: I have never lived in a house without a dog in my 19 years and have therefore developed all the skills necessary to care for them. I love dogs so much and they complete my life. I am an incoming Freshman at Suffolk University and have open availability for the most part. When classes begin in September that is subject to change though. I have experience with walking anxious and or reactive dogs so be reassured that that is not and issue with me. Im experienced in cat care as well.
“Zachary helped take care of my kitty Zeus while I was away for an extended period of time. Zachary sent me updates with each visit to keep my mind at ease. He is a dependable sitter and I recommend him for your pet care needs.”

About: I have had cats and have taken care of them since I was eight years old, and have spent time with dogs, but don't have any of my own. But I am looking forward to meeting yours. I work part time, usually at night and usually on weekends, I am pretty flexible on weekdays and can take care of your pet in the mornings or afternoons. I feed and clean up after my cat at home. If I am walking a dog then I am comfortable running or going at any pace.
“Brittany did a terrific job of caring for Chance. She was diligent about giving him his meds, and spraying a hot spot he had each day. She noticed when he took some skin off his nose, and tried her best to keep his ecollar on when Chance was doing all he could to take it off. Thanks to her his hot spot is almost gone and he’s healthy and happy. She’s the best.”

“Our pup ADORES Ann Marie and I always know she is going to be in great hands. Thank you for the thorough updates throughout the visit and for beings such a great friend to her!!”

About: I've absolutely adored animals of all kinds since I was a little kid. As an adult, I've worked in shelters, kennels, and in client's homes. I am also currently a certified professional dog trainer. Depending on the days, I may have to make short trips away to train my client dogs. I will gladly spend the entirety of the rest of my time with your pets, including overnights! I am happy to follow a schedule if one is provided. I will also provide video or picture updates as frequently as requested. I will also be happy to check the house the pet is staying in to make sure it's safe for the pet. Any messes or accident's are no problem for me to clean up and I will inform the owner about them.

About: I grew up with dogs and lived with cats so I'm very comfortable with both. I've volunteered with shelters, and even fostered dogs and cats a few times. I've walked big dogs and can handle high energy dogs of different sizes. I'm currently doing an internship half the week, so I'm available the remainder for pet care and walks. I am available Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for walking, check-ins and house sitting. I want to help build a healthy routine with your pets, and earn trust with care, play, walks, and feeding. I strive to be disciplined in rewarding good behaviour with positive reinforcement.
“Rachel is a terrific dog sitter! She became instant best friends with our dog. When I got home after a long day, Oakley looked at me with eyes saying "I had the best day ever!". Rachel is very nice, has great communication, and obviously a lot of experience.”

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my hands-on experience caring for pets every day. I help my mom care for our two dogs and also have three cats of my own, so I'm very familiar with the daily needs, routines, and personalities of both dogs and cats. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, or simply giving them attention and affection, I treat every pet like they're part of the family. While I don't have professional training experience, I'm comfortable caring for pets of different ages and energy levels, including puppies who need extra patience and supervision, as well as senior pets who may require a gentler approach and more attentive care. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with dogs and cats. My goal is to make sure every pet feels loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already help care for my family's two dogs and three cats. I'm used to feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning up after pets, giving them attention, and making sure they're comfortable and happy throughout the day. Since I'm home for the summer, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship. I have plenty of availability throughout the week and can adjust my routine to meet the specific needs of each pet and their owner. My flexible schedule also means I can provide consistent care and give pets the attention they deserve. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable. I enjoy playing fetch, giving them lots of attention, and spending quality time snuggling and bonding with them. I often join my mom on long walks with our dogs, so I am comfortable exercising and caring for pets of different energy levels. I am responsible, patient, and knowledgeable about basic pet care, including feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning up after pets, and following their daily routines. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make their well-being my top priority.
About: I've owned several dogs throughout my life since childhood and have experience with dogs that get nervous around new people or dogs that are nervous when home alone! I work throughout odd hours, but given enough time as notice I can make time for your furry companions! I cannot be available Thursdays, however I am available on other days! I have experience with crates, fences, as well as leashes to make sure your companion stays safe when outside! Since I have family members with allergens at my home, I will be unable to care for your pets in my home, however I will make sure to take utmost care with your beloved friends wherever I may be!
“Ashley was amazing! So incredibly kind and attentive to our fur babies. She was very patient and aware of their body language which is super important to us as our kitties are quite skittish and slow to warm up. But by the end of her visits they had definitely warmed up. We would recommend Ashley to anyone looking for their babies to be well loved!”
About: Hello, my name is James! I don't remember a time where I did not live with a dog around the house. My first dog was a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever, “duck toller for short”. named Trouble. He loved to guard around house and bark into the darkness. My current dogs are a pair of tiny Australian terriers named Chaos and Nemesis. They love to chase the wildlife in our forest, but are always down for pets in snuggling up. Given my experience growing up with dogs I hope that I can get to know your canine friends and spend more of my time with the creatures I love. Whether its a quick check in, a dog walk, or few hours of pet/housesitting ; I have plenty of time in my schedule to make for pet care. I will always try and treat the pets I am taking take of with as much love as their owners share with them. Plus a few extra treats.
“Lucy was wonderful! Gave the most detailed updates and sent pictures/videos that made me feel like I was there with my kitty. Can tell Lucy really loves what she does and the animals she takes care of. Will definitely reach out to her again for future pet sitting needs!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Berlin with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
