I have taken care of free roam rabbits, cats, puppies and senior dogs, as well as other small pets. I currently help my fiancée with her two toy poodles. I currently have open availability to watch animals. My current job is remote and I am able to come as needed for services. My weekends are also free as needed. I am very detail oriented and will follow instructions listed about securing your pet, whether this be in a crate, or fenced in yard, or with a harness on walks. My home is fenced in and gated to contain pets inside.

I currently have a 12-year-old Japanese Akita, a 13-year-old German Shepherd, and a young Highlander cat, giving me hands-on experience with both senior pets and energetic younger animals. Caring for my senior dogs has taught me the importance of patience, recognizing health concerns, maintaining routines, administering basic care, and adjusting exercise levels based on age and mobility. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds, including large dogs, and I understand the importance of safe handling, positive interactions, and consistent care. I make sure pets have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and exercise, and are kept safe at all times. I also respect my clients’ homes by keeping everything clean and secure. Communication is important to me, so I provide updates and photos during visits to give pet owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs, I was responsible for walking them, feeding them, making sure they had enough water, and playing with them! I have worked with reactive dogs who require muzzles and being separated from other dogs. I have a dog of my own as well, Benny! Benny is a Whoodle and we do a lot of training, he recently graduated from his Canine Good Citizen Advanced class! I have been an animal lover my whole life, and having my summers off working in education allows me to spend time doing something I love! Starting June 17th my school year ends. I will be working part time Tues-Fri 10-3 ish but other than that I am free! Am happy to be per diem or on a weekly schedule. It is my goal to accommodate and match the dogs schedule. I will make sure I reach the needs of any and all dogs in my care, depending on how long their walks are, or quantities of food. I will make sure the dogs are safe and secure within my care!

About: Hello,  my name is James! I don't remember a time where I did not live with a dog around the house. My first dog was a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever, “duck toller for short”.  named Trouble.  He loved to guard around house and bark into the darkness. My current dogs are a pair of tiny Australian terriers named Chaos and Nemesis. They love to chase the wildlife in our forest,  but are always down for pets in snuggling up. Given my experience growing up with dogs I hope that I can get to know your canine friends and spend more of my time with the creatures I love. Whether its a quick check in, a dog walk, or few hours of pet/housesitting ; I have plenty of time in my schedule to make for pet care. I will always try and treat the pets I am taking take of with as much love as their owners share with them. Plus a few extra treats.

About: Having grown up around a diverse set of animals then adopting 2 dogs of my own in adulthood, I bring a thorough, well rounded background in pet care. I am single dad (kids live here part-time) who currently works a corporate 9-5 job full-time from my home office in Leominster, so I have a lot of flexibility during the work days during the week, and then my weekends are very open too around kids activities. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex within a wooded area with land so this gives a good environment for comfortable interior space as well as walking pets outside.

About: I have never lived in a house without a dog in my 19 years and have therefore developed all the skills necessary to care for them. I love dogs so much and they complete my life. I am an incoming Freshman at Suffolk University and have open availability for the most part. When classes begin in September that is subject to change though. I have experience with walking anxious and or reactive dogs so be reassured that that is not and issue with me. Im experienced in cat care as well.
