“Nicki is an absolute lifesaver! My dogs, Lily and Teddy, can be a bit of a handful (Lily especially), but Nicki handles both of them with such care and love. From walking them to playing with them, I always know my dogs are in the best hands. Nicki is incredibly responsible, provides helpful feedback and guidance if requested, follows instructions perfectly, and clearly has a passion for dogs (and many other animals). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and reliable pet caregiver. My pups return from walks happy, tired, and absolutely spoiled – which is exactly what I wanted!”

About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs for a long time, I had a dog when I was growing up, who I walked a lot and played with every day. When he got older, I drove him to his cancer treatments at a specialist vet, and to his radiation treatments. Most of my friends growing up also had pets that I played with and saw regularly, and I've house-sat and pet-sit for several of my friends and neighbors. I have a lot of time to dedicate to caring for pets! I am currently in between jobs in my career and have plenty of time to look after other's pets! I have a pet-friendly apartment with a space for dogs to run around, and a huge field next to my apartment which is perfect for playing fetch. I also love going on hikes and being outside, which is ideal for dogs that need walking. At home, I regularly play with my cat and feed her on a schedule that she is familiar with!
16. Joiee S.
“Joiee has always loved and respected animals from a very young age. She has cared for many types of pets over the years, but is especially attuned to the needs of dogs. She currently has a wonderful Great Dane, who has been lovingly trained to be a calm, gentle spirit who comforts others. Her consistency and reliability position her to be a great caregiver.”
17. Cami & Christopher A.
“Cami has spent a lot of time with my dog and she’s so caring and attentive! He loves her so much, and I always know that she is taking great care of him during their interactions and time spent together!”

About: So you can actually call me Kim (middle name) rover just went off my license. I am of course an animal lover and owner myself! I spend my days with my two boys, Mr. Muggsy Bouges(2 yr old retriever/rottie/chow chow mix), he is the sweetest most playful pup that loves all dogs and people. Kylo, is my other boy (2.5 yr old retriever/Chow mix) who is a high energy, intelligent, looking to work kind of pup, and loves to run and play chase or tug o war! These two boys help me with my work everyday along with my two other lesson pups, as I am an independent trainer. I run my train n play (PAWtastic Playtime!) from my house. I believe that dog/owner relationship is key to any type of training with animals, and the foundation of a great partnership. I am a positive reinforcement trainer using the LIMA(Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) method. I specialize in problematic behaviors, obedience and socialization skills, and basics, as well as working with shelter and rescue dogs. I studied at the ABC college for Dog obedience program and am currently finishing my short term programs in animal nutrition, small animal massage and training and working with shelter dogs. My favorite thing to say is with all animals Patience is a virtue, never rush them cause remember they can only understand what we teach them. I work from my home, so I am home majority of time, if I am not home im more than likely found in the woods or the local parks exploring with our four legged loved ones!!! I never leave a pup alone either, as I always leave them with a buddy if I can't bring them with me for some reason. They have free roam of the place as long as they are respectful (i.e. excessive barking, digging and escape artists) of the place and of course the neighbors. They will have access to my large fenced in yard that is accessible from my deck. during hotter months I provide multiple kiddy pools, along with bowls of fresh water in all areas. there is a converted dog shed in the yard area where some also like to hang out and relax on the couch. I provide basic training and social skills with my board and daycare.(any aggressive need evaluation first) they get at least one walk in the neighborhood a day, hikes are play by ear kind of activity, and they have plenty of beds and crates and penned off areas to choose from to sleep!

20. Deseray W.
