About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. For drop in visits we are avaliable to work in the Shirely and immediately surounding area. We have some flexibility with the schedule that we can work out if you're interested! We offer lots of human and other dog socialization in our home. We have people and dogs visitors in home as well as on walks to parks and rivers.

I currently have a 12-year-old Japanese Akita, a 13-year-old German Shepherd, and a young Highlander cat, giving me hands-on experience with both senior pets and energetic younger animals. Caring for pets has taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and attention to detail. Because pet care is already a regular part of my life, I can easily incorporate walks, drop-in visits, and other pet care services into my weekly schedule while providing reliable and attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to maintain their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care needs. I make sure pets have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and exercise, and are kept safe at all times. I also respect my clients’ homes by keeping everything clean and secure. Communication is important to me, so I provide updates and photos during visits to give pet owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: Soaking up all the kitty loving I can after a lifetime of not being allowed to have pets at home. I will care for your fur babies as my own and give them all the loving while you're away. I am currently a stay at home mom looking for things to do outside of the home while the kids are at school. I will love on your fur babies any time you need! We have one cat in our home that is friendly and curious about new furry friends and people too! She is out going and will take loving from anyone.

About: My childhood cat Daisy, is as important to me as a family member. She is the perfect cat and I would not be the person I am today without her and that has left me with a deep love for cats, and by extension all pets. She is a whopping 15 years old as of now, was born in 2011 and adopted 2012, and is still VERY healthy and happy to this day. Before her, there was Max the Maine Coon who lived to 15. From birth I have had cats in the house, and adored them. I have taken part in their care more seriously beginning at age 8-10 when we adopted Daisy and took care of her in my room as she adjusted as a young kitten. 7 years later we found a fluffy orange kitten on a local walk. After nobody claimed him, we took him in. He grew up to be a hefty, incredibly fluffy ball of personality. He is now 8 and as energetic and healthy as ever. Needless to say, I love cats and am very familiar with their behavior and care. All the cats me and my family have owned have lived and continue to live exceptionally long, fruitful, and healthy lives. Additionally, When I was a preteen I loved participating in all sorts of summer actiities, but by fam my favorite was a semi-local summer camp at Animal Adventures, a rescue for all types of animals that hosted opportunities for young people to clean, feed, pet, and otherwie enjoy the company of exotic and native animals such as the capybara, a boa python, and even alligators. It was a foundational experience to fuel my love for animals and their care well into adulthood, a fascination that has never left me. My own personal routine for my pet care is simple and effective. I am very flexible when it comes to my availability and am more than open to many following all kinds of particular schedules for your pet’s needs. My daily care for my own pets is as follows: my father and I split the care of the cats when we are both home, but there has been many a time where I am alone for extended periods and in charge of their total care for a week or more. Their litter is scooped at least twice a day, once at noon. They are fed three to four times a day, in the morning, early afternoon, early evening, and night. They split a can of wet food between them for each meal. If we are gone for more the majority of the day, dry food is left out. Daisy has a topical medication applied on the inside of her ear, once at breakfast while she eats and once at night. Left ear in the morning, right at night. Gently holding her scruff while she eats and standing behind her while I apply the medicine makes the process quick and stress free for both of us! For house sitting, I can be flexible and attentive! Depending on the needs, I can (and likely will) spend nearly all the time with your pet. If your pet is shy, I will try to stay within a comfortable distance while keeping track of their well-being, and energetic and social pets will get plenty of love and attention. I care very much about their routines and health and will follow any instructions given, as I am used to an important schedule regarding my own cats’ health.

About: I have had a 14 year old German Shorthaired Pointer that I adopted at 8 years old. He was so sweet and full of energy but slowed down and I learned to be very patient, how to handle anxiety in a dog, walk often, successful medicine tactics, and senior care. Dogs make life much more interesting and deserve loving care, I truly enjoy their presence. We used to have a very loving Chocolate Lab that passed away in Sept 2024. He is greatly missed to this day. I have summers off and lots of flexibility in my schedule when I am home. I also enjoy staying active, so going on walks is a very fun aspect of dogs I enjoy with them. But, I also love to travel which is why I am doing this extra work to save for more trips, so sometimes, my schedule is not as open. My dogs were always very taken care of; kept clean, feed properly, and got lots of snuggles. I use a leash when we out with other dogs.

About: Hi my name is Megan! Growing up, my family and I helped many dogs and cats in our home. I've always known growing up, the career i wanted was to help care for everyones fur babies! I have had dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, rats, you name it i've probably had it growing up lol! I’ve worked at two boarding and daycare facilities. About: I’ve taken care of cats for over 20 years, and have experience dog sitting for several households. I have dogsat for three dogs at a time for two separate households, either to take them on a walk and feed them or stay in their home for several days. I have also cared for kittens and puppies. I typically work remotely Mon, Tues, and Fri so those are the best days for me to pop over to visit, or stay the day(s) with your pet. I am always aware of where the animal is and if there are any safety hazards such as open doors or fences, items the pet shouldn’t get into, etc. I want the animal to feel comfortable around me so I will not force interaction but rather let them warm up to me especially if I am in their home. I like clear detailed instructions when needed so I know exactly what you expect and the right way to handle your pet since you know them the best!

About: I used to have a German Shepard when I was younger and now have a Wheaton terrier! I also have two cats and have helped pet sit my cousins and family friends pets while they were away for years! I love my pets and I can't wait to love and care for your pets in my home or yours! I am away at college right now but when I ma home for breaks, I take care of my family dog and two cats, help my sisters by watching their dog or cat and help family friends by stopping by their house to check on and play with pets! It is something that I love to do and have always made time for. My family has also had people watch pets within in our which is always more convenient for both you and your pets! I have a large yard, and a fenced in pool area with plants and grass and shade. We have a "mud room" with a gate that can easily stay open or closed. This can be accessed though the house and is connected to a room where my family and I spend a lot of time. It also has a door leading outside, and a door leading the the garage. From the garage we have a another small fenced in area with a dog door!

About: Aside from a love of all animals, I have just completed my first year of veterinary school and have previous veterinary assistant experience. I have extensive animal care experience from large to small animals including dog ownership and dogsitting experience! I am on break from school so I currently have a very open and flexible schedule for the summer apart from any previously planned travel or placements (for school)! I currently have no pets in my home so your animal will get my undivided attention! I have a number of conservation areas and walking trails that I love taking pets on as well as a yard.

About: I have grown up with Cats and Dogs and have always had at least one in my house as an adult. I owned a Chihuahua that was not very nice to strangers, so I have also had my fair share of difficult moments with my dog as well. I am a huge cat lover, so send me all the kitties for care!!!! I am a school teacher with young teen children, so during the week in the Summer we are happy to help with your pet care needs. Weekends can be tough because we have sports tournaments, but ask because we have a few that we do not. I have 2 very friendly cats, but to be safe I am not sure how they will be around other animals. I am happy to care for your furry friends in your house and yard.
