Ben has been great with our new puppy! He’s very patient, and was able to take the time to get our puppy to warm up to him. He’s also very punctual and professional. We’ll defiantly be using Ben in the future!

Louca worked wonders for us and our super reactive miniature dachshund. His patience, knowledge, and professional and positive attitude were a huge relief after searching for and failing to find someone to look after our dog when we were away for short periods. Louca has given us so much hope for our little puppy’s future and we look forward to working with him again! Thank you Louca !!

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since birth- literally. My first dog used to sleep in my crib with me! I’ve had 12 dogs so far throughout my life, and each one has taught me important lessons about love and responsibility. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. I’ve had dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. I can safely administer medications, provide happy and fun play time, snuggle up on the couch with your pet, and tailor individualized needs based on your requests. I truly enjoy meeting and caring for dogs, and would love to meet yours :) I work full time as a night shift registered nurse and home care nurse in the greater boston area, and would like to make some extra money doing what I love; being around animals. My schedule is different every week, so my availability is very flexible! I am also home during the day when lots of people are away, and work when the world is asleep! I am adaptable to any environment, needs, or requirements for your pet. I am comfortable walking, crating, training, feeding, and administering meds to your pet! All I require is written or typed instructions to ensure it’s done properly and safely!

Nicole was great! I used her to come check on my pug and walk him. She was very responsive while I was away for a weekend and the communication was easy. She left notes about Cooper’s walks, along with the cutest pictures! I also noticed she spent well over 30 minutes on his walks and made sure he was all settled before she left. I appreciate her thoroughness and will definitely be using her again! :)

About: I'm newer to paid pet sitting, but I interned at a veterinary clinic, owned some pets, so I'm comfortable around animals of all kinds: dogs, cats, and small animals, including nervous ones and seniors. I can give medication if needed, and I'm also happy to help with baths and nail trims. I've spent time with both puppies and older dogs, and I adjust to whatever each pet needs. For me, caring for animals means real connection through active play, regular walks for dogs, and just paying attention to their mood and comfort. Whether it's a pup who needs to run off some energy, a cat who wants quiet company, or a small animal that needs gentle handling, I'll treat them like my own. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can build my day around a pet's routine: walks, feeding, and medication times, rather than fitting them around mine. Consistency and presence are important to me, especially for animals who do best with a steady routine. I adjust care to each pet's comfort and energy level, including 30 minutes of fetch in a fenced yard, 30- to 45-minute leashed walks, or a leashed hike if they're up for it (if the weather permits). I stay attentive to their routine and needs throughout our time together, and I also offer baths or nail trims for an additional $20 if you'd like.

About: Animals have always been part of my life. I’ve raised five dogs from puppyhood and have worked with many breeds, ages, and personalities. I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, and small mammals, making me a reliable choice for families with diverse pets who need patient, knowledgeable support. I offer fully open availability, providing flexible, reliable care whenever your pets need support. My schedule is built around consistency and convenience for pet parents, and every visit reflects my commitment to animal welfare. As I grow my business, I’m also working toward my long‑term dream of opening a multi‑species rescue to help even more animals thrive. I care for pets in the way that keeps them happiest and most comfortable. In your home, I follow your routines exactly—feeding, walks, playtime, enrichment, medication, and any house rules your pet already knows—so their day feels familiar and stress‑free. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, supervised environment with structured potty breaks, cozy rest areas, and plenty of attention. Whether it’s walks, drop‑ins, boarding, or overnights, I make sure every pet gets individualized care, consistent communication, and a calm, loving experience.

About: With more than 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine and professional pet care, I bring a unique level of expertise, reliability, and compassion to every pet I serve. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians, providing trusted pet sitting services for colleagues and clients alike. My extensive background ensures that your pets are in knowledgeable and capable hands at all times. I have successfully completed multiple background checks, reflecting my commitment to professionalism, integrity, and trustworthiness. I am also Fear Free Certified, which means i have advanced training in recognizing and reducing fear, anxiety, and stress in pets – allowing me to provide care that prioritizes both their physical and emotional well-being. Safety is always my top priority. I am certified in CPR fo humans, cats, and dogs, and I am highly experienced in administering a wide range of medications, including oral, injectable, transdermal, and subcutaneous treatments. Whether your pet requires routine care or more specialized medical attention, I am fully equipped to meet their needs with confidence and precision. Beyond medical care, I am dedicated to enriching your pet’s daily life. I prioritize meaningful interaction, socialization, and appropriate physical activity to ensure your pet remains happy, healthy, and engaged while you are away. Above all, I take great pride in being dependable, detail-orientated, and deeply respectful of the trust my clients place in me. I care for every pet as if they were my own, providing peace of mind and exceptional care you can rely on. I work full time at a veterinary hospital so if I'm pet-sitting your dog(s), I'll usually bring them with me to work with my dog. They have a fenced in yard where they can play during the day. If they are not social, they will just go out by themselves. If I'm watching your cat at your house, I will spend time with them around my work schedule, I will not subject them to daily trips in the car :) I have a fenced in yard and take frequent leash walks around my quiet and safe suburban neighborhood. We also love to hike if your pet is into that. Otherwise, your pet's needs dictate what I offer to them. If I'm watching them at your home, I try to stay to their schedule as much as possible.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 9,312 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Boylston. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Boylston. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Boylston.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boylston. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
