About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has become both a personal passion and a professional calling. I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in many different environments—from family pets and animal shelters to farms, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, and professional research settings. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, and other farm animals, including my work with Heifer Project International. I’ve also worked with dogs in animal shelters and have shared my life with dogs as pets for most of my life. My work as a wildlife animal rescue and rehabilitation worker gave me the opportunity to care for animals that were often injured, frightened, stressed, or otherwise vulnerable. I learned how important it is to approach each animal with patience, compassion, and respect while paying close attention to their behavior and individual needs. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was working with the New England Aquarium’s Rescue and Rehabilitation Department, where I helped care for several species of sea turtles. Providing rehabilitative care and administering medications taught me how important consistency, careful observation, and attention to detail are when an animal is recovering or has special needs. My professional animal-care background also includes working as an animal care technician and research technician, where I cared for dogs, pigs, rats, and mice. These positions required me to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, administer treatments, monitor animals closely, and recognize subtle changes in behavior or condition. I’m very comfortable following specific instructions and established routines, including detailed feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and other individualized care plans. At the same time, I believe great pet care is about much more than simply following a checklist. Every animal has their own personality, comfort level, routines, and way of communicating. I take the time to get to know each pet and treat them with the patience, kindness, and respect they deserve. My experience working with children and elderly individuals in care settings has also strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, dependable, and compassionate—qualities that I bring to every animal in my care. Whether your pet is outgoing and adventurous, shy and nervous, elderly and needing extra patience, or simply happiest sticking to their familiar routine, I’m comfortable adapting my care to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. When you leave your pet with me, my goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they are in capable, caring hands. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal. I’ll take that responsibility seriously, follow your instructions carefully, communicate with you about how your pet is doing, and give them the same patience and compassion I would want for my own animals. My work schedule makes pet care a natural fit for my daily routine. I work full-time during the week close to home, which gives me the flexibility to spend quality time with your pet before work, during my lunch break, and throughout the evening. After work, I’m happy to provide as many walks, play sessions, or potty breaks as your pet needs. I genuinely enjoy being outdoors—whether I’m walking, hiking, or running—so if your four-legged friend enjoys an active lifestyle, they’ll have a great companion for plenty of exercise and outdoor adventure. And if they’re more of a leisurely stroll and cuddle kind of pet, I’m just as happy to accommodate that! On weekends, I’m home and available for around-the-clock care, giving your pet plenty of companionship, attention, walks, playtime, and relaxation. My goal is to make your pet’s care fit seamlessly into my routine while making sure they get the attention, exercise, companionship, and consistency they need to be happy and comfortable. -A Safe, Comfortable, and Personalized Stay- I’ve set aside a dedicated space in my home specifically for our four-legged visitors. It includes a room with an attached office area, comfortable bedding, and plenty of space to accommodate several dogs. The setup can also be adapted to separate dogs when needed, whether for feeding, rest, individual care, or simply giving everyone their own space. When appropriate, dogs will also have access to much of my downstairs living area, including the kitchen and living room, so they can feel like they're part of the household rather than simply being boarded. I have a private, unfenced yard as well, providing another convenient option for outdoor time and bathroom breaks. I like to start the day early. A typical morning begins around 5:00 AM with a quick walk and bathroom break, followed by breakfast. About 20–30 minutes after eating, we'll head out for a longer 15–30 minute walk, giving everyone some time to stretch their legs and get their day started. While I'm at work during the weekdays, pets will have their own comfortable, dedicated spaces where they can relax safely. The rooms will be furnished with comfortable bedding and gentle background radio noise to create a calm, familiar environment. Because I work close to home, I’m also able to come home during my lunch break for additional attention, bathroom breaks, and walks. Once I'm home for the day, the focus shifts back to exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention. Depending on the dog's personality and energy level, that could mean another walk, some playtime, exploring outdoors, or simply relaxing together. Most importantly, I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. I’ll learn your pet's routine and follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications (oral/injection), exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and any other special needs. My professional experience caring for animals in shelters, wildlife rehabilitation, research, and veterinary-related environments has taught me to pay close attention to behavior and recognize when something isn't quite right. My goal is for your pet to have a stay that feels safe, comfortable, structured, and enjoyable—and for you to have confidence knowing they are being cared for by someone who takes their well-being seriously.

About: My whole life as long as I remember I was the biggest pet lover. I had my own pets and I’ve taken care and walked the dogs of my neighborhood. I just love them. I work part time, which gives me a lot of time to do my favorite thing: pet sitting!!! I work part time and have a lot of time for my favorite hobby which is caring for these lovely creatures. I have a fenced in yard and I love walking in the woods with the doggies. I have a fenced in yard and I walk the dogs three times a day. My 2 lovely dogs will keep your dogs company. I will make sure they are spoiled.

About: My love for pets started 13 years ago when I got my first Samoyed during my freshman year of college. The following year, I welcomed a Husky into my apartment. After graduating, I became a cat owner as well and have cared for three cats over the years. Having lived with both dogs and cats for so long, I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and daily routines. I’ll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m home most of the day aside from going to the gym. This gives me plenty of time to care for, play with, and spend time with your pets throughout the day. I have a spacious home with a large yard where dogs have plenty of room to relax and play. Depending on your dog’s preferences and routine, they can spend most of their time comfortably indoors or enjoy more time outside in the yard. I’ll always follow your care instructions and make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have a flexible schedule and I have over 30 years experience handling and caring for dogs. I have a love for dogs. Your special needs for your pet will be met with my attention to detail and thoroughness to work. No dog to big or small is a challenge for me. I have had a strong bond with my Rottweiler that I had for 9.5years and I am very in tune with the animals. Being stern but loving and attention to each individuals needs will be followed through with according to each pet and pet owners needs and or requirements. Having had a dog for many years I am very familiar with an animals various behaviors of bathroom needs according to various weather conditions.

About: I’ve owned pets since my daughter was young and brought her first kitten home. I’ve been helping her to walk dogs for a couple years now. I’m retired so my schedule is fairly open. It gets me walking and outside, two things I enjoy. It helps my health and makes me feel good. Happy to walk your dog! Cannot have pets stay at my house as I have a kitty cat of my own. His name is Toby and he’s a real pain in the butt! 😂

My dog was unfortunately abused as a puppy and had some behavioral issues so I am very use to dealing with these types of dogs. Although I have not owned a dog since, I love all my friends and families dogs dearly. I will be more than happy to provide toys or treats your dog enjoys to have fun while away from home! I treat every dog like it’s my own and will always reach out with any questions or concerns while they are in my care. I have frequent experience dog sitting for my aunt’s two dogs, four cats along with taking care of their fish. I also have experience with administering oral and topical medication to dogs that I have pet sat for and following specific feeding routines. “It was great having Kaylee look after our cats while we were out of town. We had special requirements as we have two young kitties who were needed to keep separated in a different part of the house from an older cat as the kittens had not yet been fully vaccinated. The kittens got into mischief and made a mess. Kaylee cleaned it up. She vacuumed up stray cat litter too. The older cat is an indoor/outdoor cat who loves to be outside during warmer months and can be very demanding requesting to go out. No escape artists were witnessed. :-) I would not hesitate in book her again when needs arise.”

My apartment is fully pet‑proofed with no access to harmful materials like toxic plants or trash. I also have access to a large enclosed dog park at my apartment for safe outdoor time. About: I have taken care of several dogs for several families for my entire adult life. I have watched dogs from puppy age up until older adult dogs. I also have a dog at home. I am available every day except on every other Saturday. I can care for pets any time of day, including overnights. I only cannot board. I take the dogs outside or for walks and I maintain a clean and safe and loving environment for all pets in my care always.

About: Please note: Your dog must get along with other dogs if staying with me or if I'm staying at your place as my dog Winnie is with me always. She gets along very well with other dogs and cats. I have over 25 years in caring for pets on my own - mostly dogs, cats, and birds. I have owned animals my entire life, however. I have rescued, fostered, and placed dogs as well. I do work Mon-Fri but I work remotely most of the time. After work (and sometimes during), walks and play time will absolutely happen, and on the weekends it is endless really! I am fine taking dogs in my car to trails or parks as long as you are okay with that. I have experience administering medications and injections. I have experience working with dogs that are timid with new people. I will work at their pace to make them more comfortable. I do not have any restrictions for boarding except for females that are not spayed - if they are in heat or may go in heat during their stay with me, I request you get the cloth doggy diaper with pads. Other than that, I love them all and would be happy to take them off your hands for awhile or on overnights and let them have some fun! I currently am remote mostly and work 30min away should I need to go on site, so that offers a lot of flexibility. I'm able to take them outside on walks throughout the day. I am here to make your pet feel comfortable in their environment. I will try to mimic their daily routine they have at home best I can to make them have less anxiety being in a new place.
