About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has become both a personal passion and a professional calling. I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in many different environments—from family pets and animal shelters to farms, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, and professional research settings. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, and other farm animals, including my work with Heifer Project International. I’ve also worked with dogs in animal shelters and have shared my life with dogs as pets for most of my life. My work as a wildlife animal rescue and rehabilitation worker gave me the opportunity to care for animals that were often injured, frightened, stressed, or otherwise vulnerable. I learned how important it is to approach each animal with patience, compassion, and respect while paying close attention to their behavior and individual needs. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was working with the New England Aquarium’s Rescue and Rehabilitation Department, where I helped care for several species of sea turtles. Providing rehabilitative care and administering medications taught me how important consistency, careful observation, and attention to detail are when an animal is recovering or has special needs. My professional animal-care background also includes working as an animal care technician and research technician, where I cared for dogs, pigs, rats, and mice. These positions required me to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, administer treatments, monitor animals closely, and recognize subtle changes in behavior or condition. I’m very comfortable following specific instructions and established routines, including detailed feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and other individualized care plans. At the same time, I believe great pet care is about much more than simply following a checklist. Every animal has their own personality, comfort level, routines, and way of communicating. I take the time to get to know each pet and treat them with the patience, kindness, and respect they deserve. My experience working with children and elderly individuals in care settings has also strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, dependable, and compassionate—qualities that I bring to every animal in my care. Whether your pet is outgoing and adventurous, shy and nervous, elderly and needing extra patience, or simply happiest sticking to their familiar routine, I’m comfortable adapting my care to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. When you leave your pet with me, my goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they are in capable, caring hands. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal. I’ll take that responsibility seriously, follow your instructions carefully, communicate with you about how your pet is doing, and give them the same patience and compassion I would want for my own animals. My work schedule makes pet care a natural fit for my daily routine. I work full-time during the week close to home, which gives me the flexibility to spend quality time with your pet before work, during my lunch break, and throughout the evening. After work, I’m happy to provide as many walks, play sessions, or potty breaks as your pet needs. I genuinely enjoy being outdoors—whether I’m walking, hiking, or running—so if your four-legged friend enjoys an active lifestyle, they’ll have a great companion for plenty of exercise and outdoor adventure. And if they’re more of a leisurely stroll and cuddle kind of pet, I’m just as happy to accommodate that! On weekends, I’m home and available for around-the-clock care, giving your pet plenty of companionship, attention, walks, playtime, and relaxation. My goal is to make your pet’s care fit seamlessly into my routine while making sure they get the attention, exercise, companionship, and consistency they need to be happy and comfortable. -A Safe, Comfortable, and Personalized Stay- I’ve set aside a dedicated space in my home specifically for our four-legged visitors. It includes a room with an attached office area, comfortable bedding, and plenty of space to accommodate several dogs. The setup can also be adapted to separate dogs when needed, whether for feeding, rest, individual care, or simply giving everyone their own space. When appropriate, dogs will also have access to much of my downstairs living area, including the kitchen and living room, so they can feel like they're part of the household rather than simply being boarded. I have a private, unfenced yard as well, providing another convenient option for outdoor time and bathroom breaks. I like to start the day early. A typical morning begins around 5:00 AM with a quick walk and bathroom break, followed by breakfast. About 20–30 minutes after eating, we'll head out for a longer 15–30 minute walk, giving everyone some time to stretch their legs and get their day started. While I'm at work during the weekdays, pets will have their own comfortable, dedicated spaces where they can relax safely. The rooms will be furnished with comfortable bedding and gentle background radio noise to create a calm, familiar environment. Because I work close to home, I’m also able to come home during my lunch break for additional attention, bathroom breaks, and walks. Once I'm home for the day, the focus shifts back to exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention. Depending on the dog's personality and energy level, that could mean another walk, some playtime, exploring outdoors, or simply relaxing together. Most importantly, I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. I’ll learn your pet's routine and follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications (oral/injection), exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and any other special needs. My professional experience caring for animals in shelters, wildlife rehabilitation, research, and veterinary-related environments has taught me to pay close attention to behavior and recognize when something isn't quite right. My goal is for your pet to have a stay that feels safe, comfortable, structured, and enjoyable—and for you to have confidence knowing they are being cared for by someone who takes their well-being seriously.

About: I have never lived in a house without a dog in my 19 years and have therefore developed all the skills necessary to care for them. I love dogs so much and they complete my life. I am an incoming Freshman at Suffolk University and have open availability for the most part. When classes begin in September that is subject to change though. I have experience with walking anxious and or reactive dogs so be reassured that that is not and issue with me. Im experienced in cat care as well.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats and horses. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets. I work full time during the week. I am available for those who enjoy going out on Friday nights or on the weekends! I’m available after 2pm on Friday's and all day Saturday & Sunday. I am very active and enjoy going for long walks and runs. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly small dog that loves to play and run around. I have an indoor porch where my animals and yours can stay separate if need be. I am able to comfortably crate your dog if needed.

About: I have worked at two separate dog daycares, one of which was part of an animal hospital, which I also worked for! I have experience with grooming, basic first aid, and providing enriching environments for our best friends. My future goal was once to become a certified dog trainer, and while I still have a passion for training, I have pivoted back to college for psychology. I am now a Registered Behavior Technician and work with children (and young adults) on the autism spectrum. Hilariously, a lot of the same skills are used in both fields, since they are behavior-based. I have a lot of experience with dogs with special needs! My own dog, Chandi, who passed in 2025, had an incredibly sensitive system due to a birth defect for which she received surgery, and could only eat a very specific diet. There have been many times when medical attention was required. From working at home and at the animal hospital, I have experience with administering pills, ointments, ear drops, eye drops, liquid medications, removing ticks, and more. If your dog has special needs, I believe I am very well equipped to handle them! Most of my evenings are available! My only restrictions are a class from 8-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I am unavailable on Saturdays (unless I am dog-sitting). I would offer an enriching environment with lots of stimulation and attention. I would prioritize your pup's physical and emotional needs and tailor my plan for them accordingly. Every pup has their own personality, and I love to navigate a new bond. I am absolutely fine with your pets sleeping on the bed with me! I honestly love it.
