“This was my first time having to consider leaving my Bingo w/a stranger. I did my research, I read the reviews of each rover doggy daycare near me. Peter was the best per his reviews. I was very emotional when it was time to drop Bingo off. Upon arrival, Peter came outside, Bingo's head was out of the window. Peter and I introduced ourselves while Bingo watched quietly. Peter offered his hand to sniff and Bingo sniffed, then licked Peters' hand. I opened the door while holding Bingo on a short leash...the transfer was so smooth it surprised me. I cried. Peter was able to command Bingo as if he already knew him. Peter asked all of the important questions ( what time does he eat, how does he like his food etc...). I made sure to bring Bingos' food, toys.and treats. Peter and I were in communication daily w/ pictures of Bingo. Bingo looked content. Other than the first night of separation anxiety, Bingo was well, and better every day. I arrived to pick up my Bingo and he was the same happy, joyful, playful, loving dog that I trusted Peter with. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has become both a personal passion and a professional calling. I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in many different environments—from family pets and animal shelters to farms, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, and professional research settings. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, and other farm animals, including my work with Heifer Project International. I’ve also worked with dogs in animal shelters and have shared my life with dogs as pets for most of my life. My work as a wildlife animal rescue and rehabilitation worker gave me the opportunity to care for animals that were often injured, frightened, stressed, or otherwise vulnerable. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was working with the New England Aquarium’s Rescue and Rehabilitation Department, where I helped care for several species of sea turtles. Providing rehabilitative care and administering medications taught me how important consistency, careful observation, and attention to detail are when an animal is recovering or has special needs. My professional animal-care background also includes working as an animal care technician and research technician, where I cared for dogs, pigs, rats, and mice. These positions required me to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, administer treatments, monitor animals closely, and recognize subtle changes in behavior or condition. I’m very comfortable following specific instructions and established routines, including detailed feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and other individualized care plans. At the same time, I believe great pet care is about much more than simply following a checklist. Every animal has their own personality, comfort level, routines, and way of communicating. I take the time to get to know each pet and treat them with the patience, kindness, and respect they deserve. My experience working with children and elderly individuals in care settings has also strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, dependable, and compassionate—qualities that I bring to every animal in my care. Whether your pet is outgoing and adventurous, shy and nervous, elderly and needing extra patience, or simply happiest sticking to their familiar routine, I’m comfortable adapting my care to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. It includes a room with an attached office area, comfortable bedding, and plenty of space to accommodate several dogs. The setup can also be adapted to separate dogs when needed, whether for feeding, rest, individual care, or simply giving everyone their own space. When appropriate, dogs will also have access to much of my downstairs living area, including the kitchen and living room, so they can feel like they're part of the household rather than simply being boarded. I have a private, unfenced yard as well, providing another convenient option for outdoor time and bathroom breaks. I like to start the day early. A typical morning begins around 5:00 AM with a quick walk and bathroom break, followed by breakfast. About 20–30 minutes after eating, we'll head out for a longer 15–30 minute walk, giving everyone some time to stretch their legs and get their day started. While I'm at work during the weekdays, pets will have their own comfortable, dedicated spaces where they can relax safely. The rooms will be furnished with comfortable bedding and gentle background radio noise to create a calm, familiar environment. Because I work close to home, I’m also able to come home during my lunch break for additional attention, bathroom breaks, and walks. Once I'm home for the day, the focus shifts back to exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention. Depending on the dog's personality and energy level, that could mean another walk, some playtime, exploring outdoors, or simply relaxing together. Most importantly, I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. I’ll learn your pet's routine and follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications (oral/injection), exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and any other special needs. My professional experience caring for animals in shelters, wildlife rehabilitation, research, and veterinary-related environments has taught me to pay close attention to behavior and recognize when something isn't quite right. My goal is for your pet to have a stay that feels safe, comfortable, structured, and enjoyable—and for you to have confidence knowing they are being cared for by someone who takes their well-being seriously.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs since high school! Friends have always called me the dog whisperer. Extremely patient with dogs and worked at a dog salon as a dog bather for 4 years. I do currently have a dog of my own, Bob, a Brussels Griffon. My partner, Dylan, and I work at home 4/5 days. We stagger our days so that someone is always home with the dogs and are never left at home alone. We both work together to make sure my dog and yours are interacting well with each other and are having a good time! We are happy to accommodate any dogs that need extra TLC during the work week from 8/8:30AM to 5:30PM. We are unable to do pick ups later than 5:30PM at this time. Your dog will be able to join us on our morning and midday walk! We only take one dog at a time to provide the highest quality care. I have an unfenced yard, but will always take your dog out leashed. Your dog will be a part of our family during the stay and is allowed on all furniture.

About: Grew up with animals, cats and birds and reptiles in my house, farm animals at grandma’s. I have a cat now, fostered a senior dog for a while years ago, and have lots of family and friends with dogs/cats. I also volunteer weekly at my local animal shelter. I work full time as a scientist but my hours are flexible and usually done around 3-4pm I’m currently working full time. However my hours are early and flexible, i usually leave between 3-4pm and will try to accommodate clients based on my availability and work Safety is always a priority.that means House doors locked behind me, windows closed, making sure your pet is fed/walked/played with and are happy when i leave them

About: Hi! I am a dog mom of two dogs and have loved and cared for many dogs over the years. I am Pet First Aid and CPR Certified and have a clean driving record. I have a background check through the state of MA as I work for MassDEP, and a background check here on Rover. On occasion, I also volunteer at a cat and dog shelter in Sudbury, MA. I am experienced and comfortable with dogs that are new to me, or who might be more timid or shy. Available for dog walking currently! I work from home most days a week so I am very flexible to come by and take care of your pup(s) since I am local to Clinton, MA. I walk my own dogs 1-2 times a day but I would ensure your dog(s) are walked separately, and well taken care of! Because of my background, I have plenty of experience walking dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I am familiar with the Clinton area so I am happy to take your dog to a park nearby, a walk around your neighborhood, or let them out in your home to play in the yard. Your dogs safety is always my priority and I will ensure that you have nothing to worry about! I do carry cintronella spray with me in the event an unpredictable / aggressive dog or animal is encountered on our walk. Photos of your pet(s) can be sent over to you during our walk too!
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 9 yrs old. Have owned Alot of both and helped neighbors when I was young. I am currently a homemaker so I have Alot of time while the kids are in school to take care of your pets like they were my own. I have experience in many different breeds and temperaments. About: I used to have a German Shepard when I was younger and now have a Wheaton terrier! I also have two cats and have helped pet sit my cousins and family friends pets while they were away for years! I love my pets and I can't wait to love and care for your pets in my home or yours! I am away at college right now but when I ma home for breaks, I take care of my family dog and two cats, help my sisters by watching their dog or cat and help family friends by stopping by their house to check on and play with pets! It is something that I love to do and have always made time for. My family has also had people watch pets within in our which is always more convenient for both you and your pets! I have a large yard, and a fenced in pool area with plants and grass and shade. We have a "mud room" with a gate that can easily stay open or closed. This can be accessed though the house and is connected to a room where my family and I spend a lot of time. It also has a door leading outside, and a door leading the the garage. From the garage we have a another small fenced in area with a dog door!

“This was my first time having to consider leaving my Bingo w/a stranger. I did my research, I read the reviews of each rover doggy daycare near me. Peter was the best per his reviews. I was very emotional when it was time to drop Bingo off. Upon arrival, Peter came outside, Bingo's head was out of the window. Peter and I introduced ourselves while Bingo watched quietly. Peter offered his hand to sniff and Bingo sniffed, then licked Peters' hand. I opened the door while holding Bingo on a short leash...the transfer was so smooth it surprised me. I cried. Peter was able to command Bingo as if he already knew him. Peter asked all of the important questions ( what time does he eat, how does he like his food etc...). I made sure to bring Bingos' food, toys.and treats. Peter and I were in communication daily w/ pictures of Bingo. Bingo looked content. Other than the first night of separation anxiety, Bingo was well, and better every day. I arrived to pick up my Bingo and he was the same happy, joyful, playful, loving dog that I trusted Peter with.
