About: I am a 20 year old college student home for the summer. I helped care for my beloved childhood dog for 13 years before he passed last march. Our house is empty now and I would love to care for your dog! I also have a year of experience volunteering at a dog shelter where I fed, walked, bathed, and helped socialize the dogs. I am a dog lover and would give your dog lots of love! I will be able to walk dogs anytime before 3pm all days except Saturday. For boarding, I am living with my parents so they and/or my partner will be able to step in to help care for your dog when I am away at work. I can also offer morning/afternoon day care anytime before 3pm. I will have plenty of time in the morning and afternoon to play with your fur baby! I have an unfenced yard out front, but can walk your dog leashed around the neighborhood and in the front yard! I live in a single family home with no other pets. I have dog toys, leashes, and dishes for food and water. I do not have a crate or pen, so this will need to be provided if needed for your dog. Preferably non shedding dogs for boarding.

About: I have had dogs and other animals (cats, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs) for most of my life. I have lots of experience taking care of animals. I will take good care of your pet like he/she is part of the family. They will receive lot's of attention and love. I will send you photos and updates on how they are doing. I can take them to the groomer if needed, water plants, pick up mail etc. while you are away. You don't have to worry they will be in good hands. I worked as a Veterinary assistant when I was in college. I love animals and will treat them as if they are my own. They will get belly rubs and lots of attention. If you need some light housekeeping while you are away we can discuss that as well. Your dog will never be left alone. I do leave the house I will either take your dog with me to do errands or he/she will stay with my housemate who is also a pet sitter while I go do an errand. We can discuss what routine your dog is used to so that he/she feels comfortable while you are away. I will do my best to accommodate his/her and your needs.

“Gabriel is great with our dog. He has taken time to bond with her so she looks forward to their walks. He is also very communicative and will let you know any problems immediately. He is dedicated and will work to solve any problem.”

About: I’ve had my amazing dog Nalu for almost 5 years and have also been a dog walker for people in my life and neighborhood for multiple years. I love all animals, especially dogs! I am a college student home for the summer and I have a lot of free time when I’m not working so dog walking fits perfectly into my routine! I love being around dogs and I love being outside and walking so it works out perfectly. My dog is pretty well trained so when we go outside she doesn’t need a leash. I leash her when we walk on the roads or in mandatory areas. I am comfortable with dealing with new dogs and new personalities.

“Rebecca is amazing! I have two very challenging dogs (one super timid and the other super protective). She is SO patient and worked through all the quirks my dog was having during her stay and she is very calm and consistent with them! I highly recommend her for your dog walking needs!”

“Caroline was great to work with! She was very communicative and worked with me to find a good time to meet my dog and take him for a walk. He was very happy and tired when he got back. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Caroline again!”

About: From puppies to seniors , I’ve cared for them all. I love animals of all types . I’m reliable and prompt. I have a lil pittie of my own named Kiwi. I will treat your baby as my own. I have a very open schedule right now . I am working 2 days a week but the rest are open for walks . I myself am someone who enjoys walking and loves dogs . This seemed like a perfect fit. Your pet would always be supervised . Your pets safety is my number one priority. I know myself how much I value when I have someone I can trust watching my baby, kiwi.

“Oliver was great and handled my two weirdo dogs very well. I came home to happy pups and he communicated well. I would love to work with him again, thank you so much Oliver!”

About: I’m extremely gentle, friendly, and nurturing with all dogs. I follow instructions carefully to ensure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for every time. Pet care fits naturally into my weekend routine as I dedicate specific times around it to provide attentive, reliable visits. During the weekends, I’m fully available for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. No matter the time of the day, I can ensure pets get consistent care. I prioritize flexibility and clear communication to fit pet care seamlessly alongside my other commitments. I care for pets in my home by keeping a consistent routine for both my dog and my parent in laws’ dogs who stays with us. I make sure to take them out on time for potty breaks, provide daily playtime to keep them engaged, and take them on long walks to help them stay active and healthy. I’m attentive to their needs and prioritize creating a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and happy.

About: I am a neuroscience graduate from BU and was briefly a a PhD student at CUNY and now work for a nonprofit. I have had two beautiful dogs, a white lab and a black lab German Shepard. They were both super energetic and cuddly. Both have recently passed away. Despite being small, I’m great at handling dogs of all size and demeanors. I was a cat sitter for 8 months for two sweet orange cats: May and Pumpkin. They’re a bit older but are playful sweeties Currently my availability is pretty open and I’m also pretty flexible. Apart from my own pets, I have cat, dog, and rabbit (yes) sat for many friends and family and have always been asked to do it again. I also have worked as a dog walker for 6 months for dogs as large as German Shepards to chihuahuas. Though we did not offer house sitting, I have done this for many friends and from walking, have experience entering and leaving homes respectfully and befriending dogs without their owners present. Dogs bring me so much joy but I can’t have my own due to my lease so I’d love to play with yours :) and I love my cats but am always excited to meet new ones I am currently job searching for a 9-5 but am really looking for a great fit so I don’t anticipate starting immediately and… I love animals!! I try to leave everything as I found it. I am happy to go over your special pals needs. I will probably update you/ask questions the first day or so just to make sure I can have the best time with your pup. I also send tons of pictures!!!

About: I grew up with a dog and always wanted one of my own. When I moved away from home, I missed my pup terribly. Caring for my friend’s dogs helped fill that void. Now I have my own pup who loves other dogs. Frankie is a 2.5 y/o Aussiedoodle. We love to take long walks, stopping for all the good sniffs, and go for runs together. I’m currently between jobs, so have plenty of time to care for and play with your furbaby! I’m available throughout the day for walking and sitting. I have a 6-ft high fenced yard and an energetic pup that is great at respecting your dog’s boundaries. I only sit one dog at a time and follow their routine. My goal is to make them comfortable and treat them as I do my own!

About: I grew up loving and caring for animals! I’ve cared for animals in personal and professional capacities and always find so much joy in spending time with animals. Currently, I have two cats at home and numerous other animals in my life. I currently work 4 days per week and work remotely half of the time. This means that I have plenty of flexibility 5/7 days per week for scheduling pet care. Safety and wellness of animals is my number one priority. I will work collaboratively with you to ensure your pets receive the best care possible.

About: Hello! I graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in pre-veterinary medicine. From there, I was hired at the MSPCA to work in the shelter. I spent a year and a half there walking countless dogs and taking care of every animal you could think of (cats, rabbits, birds, rats, Guinea pigs, etc). Rover doesn’t have an option for exotics, but I am open to taking care of them as well. My time at the MSPCA has taught me so much about animal behavior, especially dogs that have behavioral challenges, so I am also open to working with the more challenging dogs, just let me know ahead of time! I am experienced in clicker training (I trained a service dog and trained dogs at the MSPCA) so if you are working on any skills that you need a walker or sitter to continue, I’d love to help with that! I am now making a career switch to human nursing and I am in school for that, but I still love working with animals so I am trying to keep that passion alive! I am off Sat-Mon. Wednesdays and Fridays are long clinical days for me, so I won’t have the time to take out a puppy frequently those days. I have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but those are usually shorter days. I do not offer services in my own home, but am happy to follow any schedule/rules for your home and your pet’s needs. Any specific request, just let me know!
