They responded quickly to my request and communicated with texts and photos during my dog's stay. My dog looked happy and it seems like he was well cared for. I will be contacting Megan & Jenny again for dog sitting and boarding.”

“My second time boarding my senior dachshund with Eiko and he had such a great time. Eiko did a great job of keeping my posted with updates and pictures, but not so frequent that I was worried or checking my phone too much. My dog seemed to have a great time and my trip away was pretty worth-free. I would happily book with Eiko again!”

“Mariola is such a sweetheart. She is great at communicating and our pups look like they had the best time with her. Mariola sent us pics everyday and let us know exactly how our dogs were doing. If we weren’t moving we would have Mariola be our Rover all the time!”

“Albina was fantastic— she took care of our dog like he was her own! Our dog tagged along on little weekend adventures to parks, farmer’s markets, a neighborhood potluck, received lots of snuggles and went on many long walks; all things he loves to do. Albina sent us updates and photos daily, and was very responsive and accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times. Ultimately, I know my dog had the best time with Albina because he immediately snuggled up with us and fell asleep once we got home 🩷 We look forward to booking with Albina again for our next trip!”

“Mary did such a fantastic job watching our pup for a week and a half while we were out of the country! Our pup has some specific needs so I was nervous but Mary was so sweet and patient with our pup. The photo updates made it easy to enjoy our vacation. I’d recommend Mary for anyone obsessed with their dogs.”

“Our dog loves Lilly! She took amazing care of him and made sure he got plenty of attention, exercise, and cuddles — all of which he requires a lot of haha. She sent tons of photos and videos and kept us updated with check ins. We are so grateful our little guy was so well cared for!”

“Benito was well cared for and happy during his stay. Isaac and Jordan followed the care guide we provided and sent frequent updates. Definitely rebooking when the need comes up Thanks again!”

“Kristen and Ryan were very welcoming of our pup! They were understanding of her nuances and helped her adjust to a new environment fast. “My elderly boxer, Shug, had his first stay with Kit last week. It was a great time for him. Kit is warm and responsible. When she was concerned about an ongoing eye problem of his, she didn’t hesitate to phone me for a consultation. Her love for dogs shines. She is able to manage her own two dogs and several guest-pups at the same time. Kit’s premises are dog heaven. She has a large hard-scaped courtyard as well as an open hillside for outdoor play. Her guests are welcomed into the house and given plenty of cuddles and affection. Shug was given lots of human attention and canine socializing. When I arrived to pick Shug up, he initially sauntered up to greet me, then immediately ran back to the glass door to try to rejoin his pup-pals inside the house. It was the ultimate proof that he had a terrific experience with Kit. I’m delighted to commend her to you without reservation.”

“Vanessa was so kind and careful with our pup Gumbo! We were extra nervous because we had to leave him with her for two weeks while he recovered from an injury. Following our vet’s instructions, she gave him his meds, restricted his activity, carried him up and down the stairs, and provided so much loving care. And she sent us lots of updates! Her pup Robin is so sweet too. We’re looking forward to Gumbo’s next stay with them.”

“We have a big rescue dog, Lupin, who is nervous around new people and leash reactive/frustrated because he wants to play with every dog he sees, and Karen was fantastic with him. It was very clear at our meet and greet at the park that she knew how to deal with such issues, and knew a lot about dogs and their behavoir. We did a one night trial run to get lupin used to them for longer boarding and they were very kind to him - we have already booked 2 more trips. At our meet and greet, her lovely pup was a marvelous calming influence on our 2 yr old.”

About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. If you're interested, I invite you to come by for a meet and greet—see the space, meet me, and let me meet your little one. I look forward to being your dog’s new best friend! Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. I structure my routine around their needs, with group outings, downtime, and a consistent rhythm. If my personal life calls me away, I have an amazing assistant Alaina who steps in. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.

“It was our first time trying Rover and Keara was AMAZING. She is kind, warm, and communicative - all the things you’d want when you are trusting your furry pet with someone. She was highly responsive and sent plenty of videos and pictures of my dog each day, throughout the day. She cuddled him, played with him, took him out with her in the backpack I provided for dinner with her and just kept him great company. I couldn’t have had a better experience and would highly recommend the wonderful Keara!”

“Alexis and her roommate very curious to learn about Puffy as I dropped him off which was nice. They were very communicative and kept me up to date with texts and pictures. Thanks alot!”

Aimee E.
“My 4 year old Aussiedoodle Ruby has been doing daycare and boarding with Aimee for over 2 years. I am so thankful I found her. I'm very protective of my dog and Aimee has become a second parent! Her family has welcomed ruby into their home and ruby is completely in love with each family member. I wanted a daycare that was not corporate or in a warehouse setting where dogs don't go outside. At Aimee's, they go on outings almost every day or hang out in the water park she's built in the backyard just for them! I get photos while I'm sitting at my work desk and know Ruby is living her best life. Aimee is also learning about animal behavior and has helped Ruby break some tough habits that I couldn't train out of her on my own . She has also been supportive through some scary health situations with ruby and I trust her completely with Ruby's well-being. Sometimes I've considered moving to S.F. to be closer to work, but I know I'd never find another Aimee, so it's out of the question. Can't recommend her highly enough!”
