About: Hi! I’m Erin and currently have way more free time so I thought why not do something that I absolutely love! Caring for all types of pets! With years of hands-on experience, I offer dependable, compassionate care for pets of all kinds, from energetic pups needing long walks to senior or sick animals requiring extra attention. I've bottle fed kittens, nursed sick pets back to health, trained dogs in basic commands, and loved every minute of it. Whether it's daily walks, in home sitting, or just a comforting visit while you're away, I treat your pet like family. My goal is simple: happy, healthy pets and total peace of mind for you. I even have experience in farm pets from chickens to rabbits and even tortoises. Caring for pets is a joyful part of my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon visits, or evening feedings, I build my schedule around giving animals the attention, love, and care they need. Spending time with pets isn’t a task—it’s something I genuinely look forward to every day. I also do cleaning and errands if that is something you’re also looking for. You can trust me to care for your pets like my own—whether it’s in-home pet sitting or daily dog walks. I’m experienced, reliable, and truly passionate about animals. I ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. From feeding and playtime to cuddles and cleanups, I provide attentive, personalized care that gives you complete peace of mind.

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is how much I truly cares. I take the time to get to know each dog, understanding their quirks, routines, and favorite things, so they feel right at home. I always try to keep owners updated with photos and messages, which makes being away so much easier. I am pretty good at noticing changes in behavior or picking up on their moods. I am reliable, thoughtful, and loves what I do and hope that owners feel comforted and reassured that I will take great care of their animals. Thank you for considering!! I am a full time master's student at ASU but I would love to be able to take care of some animals throughout the week. Weekends I can stay at the home full time, and during the week I can pop in and out! My schedule is subject to change, but I am flexible and more than willing to talk more about this :) I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for pets. I keep a close eye on their routines, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any special needs they may have. I try to create a fun, stress free atmosphere, with lots of playtime, snuggles, and personalized attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their familiar routines to reduce any stress while their owners are away. I respect the space, keep things tidy, and ensure each pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages, so owners can enjoy peace of mind, knowing their pets are happy and well-cared for.

About: I grew up taking care of animals including cats, rabbits, horses, dogs, goats, and chickens. We had animals of our own, and I quickly became the go-to person to call when someone needed their animals looked after. I volunteered at a humane society shelter and clinic for 4 years as well. The dog in the photo was my sweet Winston, my senior dog who passed away in January 2022. While I love animals I don't have any pets at this time and would love to take care of and spoil yours! Pet sitting is something I can do that I truly love, and finally have the time for! I took a break from pet sitting for a few years due to my previous work schedule. I am now working part time and am looking for meaningful remote work. I am building my life with more flexibility and streams of income, I am so happy to have more of a balance! I recognize I will be a stranger in your and your pet's home, due to this I would like to meet your pet with you prior to staying in your home. My priority is to ensure your pet feels safe, secure and comfortable. My goal is to stick to the routine your pet is most familiar with, 8:00 pm run? - we'll do it! TV on until 1:00 am? - so be it! I want to ensure that the transition for your pet is as seamless and stress free as possible. I'll be the cool aunt, but my highest priority is mine and your pet's safety. This is best done by ensuring we stick to your rules and routines!

About: Growing up, I have done dog sitting for friends and family in my community back in Virginia. I’ve taken care of a wide variety of breeds and sizes with around 20 dogs I would take care of on a consistent basis. As a child, my family had a medium sized rescue mix who unfortunately passed when I was younger and since before Covid I ended up taking a previous client’s Chiweenie who unfortunately passed about 2 months ago at 15 from health complications with Cushing’s disease. Needless to say, I am a dog person who will love and spoil your dogs rotten. I’m currently working part time during regular office hours for a student job. I try my absolute best to let my client’s dogs out at least once every 4-6 hours. My shifts are usually scheduled for 4-5 hours, however I can base the rest of my day’s schedule around the client/pets needs. I am flexible with a client’s wishes. In the past if the client has a fenced-in yard, I will let the dog out and play with them for extended periods of time. If there is no fenced-in area, I can take them on longer walks or let them out quickly depending on their activity level and client’s wishes. As for food and treats, I strictly follow the client’s instructions. When I am leaving for an extended period of time, I ensure the pet has access to water and if they graze on food, I will ensure that as well.

About: I’m excited to fulfill my fervent passion for caring for fluffy companions while making your family’s life easier! Given that I'm building clientele, here’s $20 off your first booking with Rover in exchange for your feedback: https://www.rover.com/sit/susanb60924 I aim to provide you and your dearest pet with the best experiences and outcomes to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and safe in any environment. My communication will be clear, and follow-ups will be provided promptly. I look forward to developing a special bond and doting on your beloved pet! tl;dr: You’ll notice that my profile is robust, which is intentional because 1) I want to ensure that I’m a good fit for your family and pet’s needs, and 2) It’s essential to have a thorough and holistic view of your pet to ensure you’ll have peace of mind and assurance while you’re away. Experience: My entire life, I’ve gravitated to all creatures, big and small, and I finally have the opportunity to indulge my love of pets while helping others simultaneously! My professional background in the corporate digital technology industry and 40+ years of personal experience caring for animals is rooted in growing up in a rural Midwestern farming community. My earliest memories consist of helping my parents raise and train award-winning show and service dogs for people who have disabilities, breeding and showing Clydesdales, loving on my cats/kittens, and tending to countless aquatic and insect friends. Even though I’m allergic to all animals, except for dogs, you’d still find me frolicking in nature, surrounded by farm animals/livestock, obsessively studying and doting on my animal family and other cherished critters. While living in Chicago, I volunteered at PAWS (the Midwest’s largest non-profit no-kill animal shelter). I consistently travel locally and cross-country to pet sit for friends and family and never pass up an opportunity to be in the company of the most precious and bestest boys/girls (of the animal species, that is). Due to diligently catering to my pets, I have robust awareness and knowledge and am tremendously experienced with all aspects of a pet’s life, personality, and needs: puppies, seniors, rescues, special needs, terminal illness, parasitic/intestinal ailments, medications and administering subcutaneous fluid IVs (renal failure), food allergies, specialized diets/restrictions, treating other medical conditions, training, behavioral issues, and grooming/hygiene best practices. About my pets: My sassy and exuberant silky terriers (previously Miss Addi and now, 2-1/2-year-old Tater Tot) have been/are always by my side. Each moved interstate with us—living the city life in Chicago, then coastal Southern California, and now Phoenix. We’ve created countless joy-filled memories exploring and adventuring (road trips to national parks, vacationing in cities, visiting friends, dining out, extended sniff-patrol strolls, hiking in the mountains, camping, walks on the beach, kayaking, and boating). While living in CA, unfortunately, Miss Addi endured Cushing’s syndrome and started experiencing strokes and seizures. Shortly after moving to AZ, she was then diagnosed with terminal renal failure. We were determined and committed to giving her the most comfortable and best life possible. The final two years of her journey required around-the-clock monitoring, regimented medical interventions, and customized care. While it was such a gut-wrenching experience, we diligently researched, sought out experts, and immersed ourselves in learning about the intricacies of senior/emergency/end-of-life hospice care and how to grieve and cope with the loss of a beloved companion. She lived a full life, we celebrated her 16th birthday and she chose to pass over the rainbow bridge later the same day. A month later, Tater Tot joined our little family. Though he has experienced his fair share of shenanigans at an early age, he is such a resilient, demure, and cheerful little fella! We love him to pieces; he is simply the best! Further Context: I truly empathize and understand the level of decision-making that goes into finding trustworthy, quality care for your beloved companions. Since Rover’s inception, I’ve relied on its service model (as a consumer) due to limitations with traditional dog boarders, and it often wasn’t an ideal solution for my dog’s needs. While we’ve had extremely positive experiences with daycare/boarding facilities, we’ve also dealt with miscommunication, irresponsible and dangerous situations that resulted in stress-induced weight loss, neglect, behavioral issues, illness, and emergency vet visits. With thorough vetting, Rover gave me peace of mind that my most precious family member’s well-being and special needs were prioritized while catering to my busy schedule and last-minute travel engagements. Rover allowed me to move seamlessly through the demands of life and was instrumental while transitioning to new cities. I am grateful for the Rover Petting community and their continued care for my fur babies throughout all phases of their lives. My schedule is flexible, and I am more than happy to work together on a mutually agreed upon routine and care plan for your pet. For short-term stays/overnight boarding at my residence, please consider the following. Household members: - My Partner works remotely. He grew up with golden retrievers, golden doodles, and many other pets and sincerely loves all animals. He is kind-natured and has years of experience caring for and watching friends and family pets. - Tater Tot, our 2-1/2-year-old Silky Terrier, completed private 1:1 obedience training with a professional, certified, and highly reviewed dog trainer. Same for Miss Addi. - Fully vaccinated, receives tic/flea guard and preventative heartworm medications - Tater Tot responds to basic commands, plays well with dogs, and acts politely around humans and other animals. He is highly adaptable in all environments, walks well on a leash, is comfortable on car rides, and is potty-pad/crate-trained. - We do not give our pets people food/snacks due to health/diet restrictions. However, let us know if your pups love partaking in human foods! Living conditions and details: - Secure 2,000 sq. ft. residence in a gated multi-unit living community - Single floor plan layout is kept clean and sanitary - Puppy-proofed (bedrooms can be gated off, and there's enough space for a small pen enclosure/crate in the living area) - There are two small balconies with 3 ft high railings. We created a dedicated potty area on one of the balconies. - We DO NOT have an adjacent/walkout yard - An elevator or four small flights of stairs are required for walks outside - There is a doggy run/area on the property, but it does not meet our quality control standards - The neighborhood is dog-friendly and walkable. It’s comprised of a mix of residential homes, multi-unit complexes, shops, and restaurants. - Weather permitting, walks to Hance Park are ~1 mi. away

“Did an awesome job walking my high energy dog! Turbo normally needs time to warm up to people and since he is a big dog people are usually scared but Damon did a great job handling him.”

Aaron R.
“Erin R. is an absolute dog whisperer with a heart of gold and the patience of a saint. From the first sniff-and-greet, my two wildly different pups, smaller sassy Salsa girl and my oversized cuddle-monster Handsome boy were completely smitten. Erin didn’t just handle them, she *got* them. Salsa tried her usual dramatic performance (part potty, part soap opera star), and Handsome brought his full body leaning game, but Erin showed up with calm confidence, belly rubs, and just the right amount of silly voices. Somehow, she had them both behaving like perfect angels. Salsa stopped judging the mailman for five whole minutes, and Handsome didn’t try to sit on her (a miracle in itself). I swear they both cried when she left. If you're looking for someone who treats your dogs like family, Erin’s the one. Bonus: she leaves your pups happier, your pup space cleaner, and your heart lighter. Book her before word gets out and she’s booked solid!”

Delaney A.
“Delaney is an incredible dog sitter! She took such great care of my pups, making sure they felt right at home. I got regular updates, and it was clear that my dogs were having the best time with her. Delaney's warmth and genuine love for animals really put my mind at ease. If needed, she also takes care of the house and makes sure the mail is taken in daily, and takes out the trash/recycling if necessary. We've used her for the past three years to watch our two pups and our house and we are so sad to see her leave us in Pennsylvania, but excited for her to start her next adventure in AZ! If you're looking for a responsible, caring, and attentive sitter, I highly recommend Delaney. She is incredibly flexible and responsive; she's the best!”

I've had the pleasure of working with Christopher for the past two years, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better caregiver for my dog, apel Over this time he has been incredibly reliable, always showing up on time and providing the perfect balance of exercise, care, and affection. It’s clear that Christopher genuinely loves animals, and my dog looks forward to every walk and stay. Whether it's daily walks or longer sitting sessions, I always receive thoughtful updates and pictures, which make me feel confident that my dog is in great hands. I can’t recommend Christopher enough—if you're looking for someone dependable, loving, and professional, he is the absolute best! Thank you very much

Annemarie was so great with her patience with my dog who has a hard time trusting new people. It only took a minute before she was able to gain his trust and they were off on their walk. She was so responsive and kept me informed the entire time. I will definitely book her again. Thank you!!

Kristen did a great job. She was reliable and gave prompt reports on how walks were going, so we could let her know if something was pretty normal or out of character. She was responsive to our dog's needs and we are very grateful for her help! We rested easy knowing she was in the job!
