About: Growing up, I have done dog sitting for friends and family in my community back in Virginia. I’ve taken care of a wide variety of breeds and sizes with around 20 dogs I would take care of on a consistent basis. As a child, my family had a medium sized rescue mix who unfortunately passed when I was younger and since before Covid I ended up taking a previous client’s Chiweenie who unfortunately passed about 2 months ago at 15 from health complications with Cushing’s disease. Needless to say, I am a dog person who will love and spoil your dogs rotten. I’m currently working part time during regular office hours for a student job. I try my absolute best to let my client’s dogs out at least once every 4-6 hours. My shifts are usually scheduled for 4-5 hours, however I can base the rest of my day’s schedule around the client/pets needs. I am flexible with a client’s wishes. In the past if the client has a fenced-in yard, I will let the dog out and play with them for extended periods of time. If there is no fenced-in area, I can take them on longer walks or let them out quickly depending on their activity level and client’s wishes. As for food and treats, I strictly follow the client’s instructions. When I am leaving for an extended period of time, I ensure the pet has access to water and if they graze on food, I will ensure that as well.

About: Hi! I’m Erin, wife and mom of 2 teenagers. I currently have way more free time so I thought why not do something that I absolutely love! Caring for all types of pets! With years of hands-on experience, I offer dependable, compassionate care for pets of all kinds, from energetic pups needing long walks to senior or sick animals requiring extra attention. I've bottle fed kittens, nursed sick pets back to health, trained dogs in basic commands, and loved every minute of it. Whether it's daily walks, in home sitting, or just a comforting visit while you're away, I treat your pet like family. My goal is simple: happy, healthy pets and total peace of mind for you. I even have experience in farm pets from chickens to rabbits and even tortoises. Caring for pets is a joyful part of my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon visits, or evening feedings, I build my schedule around giving animals the attention, love, and care they need. Spending time with pets isn’t a task—it’s something I genuinely look forward to every day. I also do cleaning and errands if that is something you’re also looking for. You can trust me to care for your pets like my own—whether it’s in-home pet sitting or daily dog walks. I’m experienced, reliable, and truly passionate about animals. I ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. From feeding and playtime to cuddles and cleanups, I provide attentive, personalized care that gives you complete peace of mind.

“Max loves Leah so much! Leah is such a kind soul! She really helped me through an unexpected injury, by showing up daily to take Max for a nice walk. Thank you Leah!”

About: I have years of experience dogsitting and housesitting for families with multiple dogs. From energetic Boxers to senior dogs to anxious dogs, I have the experience. I am new to Rover and typically have dogsat through family friends/word of mouth. Looking for some company during my WFH job during the week! I have a work from home job with limited meetings. I am available to hang out for longer periods than just a quick potty break or walk. Available during the day after 8 am CST and evenings. Weekends not available. Your dog will be treated with as much care and love as I treat my dog with. I am attentive and diligent with whatever your dog needs. Whether that be extra long pets or patience when your dog is sniffing on a walk, you can count on me. Experienced with older senior dogs and younger dogs that require extra watchful eyes for mischief. I always will leave your house in the same condition as it was when I arrived.

“very great with communication and Betty adored her. She was running late due to traffic but let me know ahead of time. we definitely will be using her again.”

About: What Sets Me Apart as a Pet Sitter My lifelong, deep love for animals, rooted in a lifetime of caring for and cherishing pets, distinguishes me as a pet sitter who goes beyond the basics. From my earliest memories, animals have been my companions—cats, dogs, and more—filling my life with joy and purpose. This passion has driven me to provide exceptional care, whether nurturing puppies and kittens, tending to sick pets with patience, or ensuring elderly animals feel safe and loved. My experience with finicky felines and pets with special needs means I understand how to adapt, offering tailored care that meets each animal’s unique needs. Unlike others, my commitment isn’t just a job—it’s a calling built on decades of devotion, ensuring every pet in my care feels like family. I work a standard job but enjoy significant flexibility during the day, allowing me to accommodate pet care needs with ease. My schedule is fully open on nights and weekends, ensuring I can provide dedicated, loving attention to your pets whenever they need it most. When caring for your pet in your home, I prioritize their safety and comfort by strictly adhering to the routine you’ve established, ensuring consistency that keeps your pet secure and at ease. I take extreme caution in every aspect of their care, from securely locking doors and monitoring their environment for hazards to carefully following feeding, medication, and exercise instructions. My approach respects your home’s sanctity and your pet’s unique needs, providing peace of mind that they’re safe and loved while maintaining the familiar structure they thrive in.

About: I grew up taking care of animals including cats, rabbits, horses, dogs, goats, and chickens. We had animals of our own, and I quickly became the go-to person to call when someone needed their animals looked after. I volunteered at a humane society shelter and clinic for 4 years as well. The dog in the photo was my sweet Winston, my senior dog who passed away in January 2022. While I love animals I don't have any pets at this time and would love to take care of and spoil yours! Pet sitting is something I can do that I truly love, and finally have the time for! I took a break from pet sitting for a few years due to my previous work schedule. I am now working part time and am looking for meaningful remote work. I am building my life with more flexibility and streams of income, I am so happy to have more of a balance! I recognize I will be a stranger in your and your pet's home, due to this I would like to meet your pet with you prior to staying in your home. My priority is to ensure your pet feels safe, secure and comfortable. My goal is to stick to the routine your pet is most familiar with, 8:00 pm run? - we'll do it! TV on until 1:00 am? - so be it! I want to ensure that the transition for your pet is as seamless and stress free as possible. I'll be the cool aunt, but my highest priority is mine and your pet's safety. This is best done by ensuring we stick to your rules and routines!

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is how much I truly cares. I take the time to get to know each dog, understanding their quirks, routines, and favorite things, so they feel right at home. I always try to keep owners updated with photos and messages, which makes being away so much easier. I am pretty good at noticing changes in behavior or picking up on their moods. I am reliable, thoughtful, and loves what I do and hope that owners feel comforted and reassured that I will take great care of their animals. Thank you for considering!! I am a full time master's student at ASU but I would love to be able to take care of some animals throughout the week. Weekends I can stay at the home full time, and during the week I can pop in and out! My schedule is subject to change, but I am flexible and more than willing to talk more about this :) I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for pets. I keep a close eye on their routines, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any special needs they may have. I try to create a fun, stress free atmosphere, with lots of playtime, snuggles, and personalized attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their familiar routines to reduce any stress while their owners are away. I respect the space, keep things tidy, and ensure each pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages, so owners can enjoy peace of mind, knowing their pets are happy and well-cared for.

About: I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society for years, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages from playful puppies to senior cats. I’m patient, reliable, and love getting to know each animal’s unique personality (especially the sassy ones like my cat Monkey!). I treat every pet like my own and always go the extra mile to make them feel safe and loved. I’m currently working part time as a server so I mostly work nights and occasionally “morning” shifts (10am-4pm). On days where I work mornings I am able to come before and after work and days where I work nights I can come in the morning afternoon and after my shifts. I will make sure to be respectful to any rules you have for your animals. I am willing to take long walks and play with your doggos as well as make sure they have everything they need while you are gone. I understand how uncomfortable it can be to leave your babies while you are gone and I want to make sure that they feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

“Did an awesome job walking my high energy dog! Turbo normally needs time to warm up to people and since he is a big dog people are usually scared but Damon did a great job handling him.”

I got regular updates, and it was clear that my dogs were having the best time with her. Delaney's warmth and genuine love for animals really put my mind at ease. If needed, she also takes care of the house and makes sure the mail is taken in daily, and takes out the trash/recycling if necessary. We've used her for the past three years to watch our two pups and our house and we are so sad to see her leave us in Pennsylvania, but excited for her to start her next adventure in AZ! If you're looking for a responsible, caring, and attentive sitter, I highly recommend Delaney. She is incredibly flexible and responsive; she's the best!”

Absolutely amazing service. Very professional and friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service and communication. 10/10 on all levels.

I've had the pleasure of working with Christopher for the past two years, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better caregiver for my dog, apel Over this time he has been incredibly reliable, always showing up on time and providing the perfect balance of exercise, care, and affection. It’s clear that Christopher genuinely loves animals, and my dog looks forward to every walk and stay. Whether it's daily walks or longer sitting sessions, I always receive thoughtful updates and pictures, which make me feel confident that my dog is in great hands. Caroline is awesome! Great at communicating and Maisyn is always well cared for with her. We appreciate her coming over when we’re at work and will continue booking.

Victoria is the best sitter that I have ever had on Rover or any other platform. She handles my Chloe with care and she is highly communicative during her stay, she sends tons of photos and videos. I highly recommend Victoria!

Annemarie was so great with her patience with my dog who has a hard time trusting new people. It only took a minute before she was able to gain his trust and they were off on their walk. She was so responsive and kept me informed the entire time. I will definitely book her again. Thank you!!

Kristen did a great job. She was reliable and gave prompt reports on how walks were going, so we could let her know if something was pretty normal or out of character. She was responsive to our dog's needs and we are very grateful for her help! We rested easy knowing she was in the job!

Ok, Elizabeth was incredible. Bailey called me after the walk raving about just how much fun she had. Couldn’t have had a better pet sitter in such short notice. Thank you!!!

Vincent was awesome! He was great with the dogs, very responsive, and checked in to report on how everything went before he left. He saved me in a pinch recently by helping with the evening dog-duties and I am looking forward to having him stay with the dogs in a couple weeks when I am out of town. Thanks, Vincent!
