“This was our second time booking with Christine and we really cannot recommend her highly enough. Our very shy kitty loves her to pieces! Christine's care and communication is outstanding, and we will definitely book with her again. Thank you Christine!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 5 years. Neighbors, friends, and relatives have relied on me for walks, feeding, and grooming. I enjoy taking care of pets(in general) because I love seeing their personalities shine through and it’s rewarding to see them enjoy their time with me. As always I make sure the care I give is the same a their owners because I want to make sure the routine doesn’t change. I work from home which is convenient because my schedule is very flexible. I’m usually free in the afternoons from Monday to Wednesday (1-7pm). Thursdays are my busiest days at work as I have meetings all day until 5pm. And most Fridays I’m free as well(10:30am-6pm) When doing visits, I will be attentive of your pet and their environment at all times. Every visit I’ll make sure they’re well fed, water is fresh, and play with them as needed. Please let me know if there are specific instructions that I need to follow when I’m at your residence. I’m by a school and a neighborhood park where walking dogs is pretty common during the day so I would plan to walk around that area (unless suggested otherwise). I’m also familiar with a bunch of parks that are dog/pet friendly in the peninsula so your pet will always be entertained and safe in my care.

“Travis is a wonderful cat sitter. I had booked visits with him over the Thanksgiving break and was so happy to see that he was also available for the Xmas break. He was excellent at communicating at every visit. He was very good with my kitties. He went above and beyond taking care of them and our home. You can clearly see his care and passion for taking care of animals. I would not hesitate to book him again! Thank you, Travis. You are the best :)”

“Lucy was absolutely wonderful! She was communicative throughout the entire booking—quick to respond and always kept us updated with the cutest photos. She followed all instructions carefully, and my cat HaoHao was happy and well cared for. We felt at ease knowing Lucy was looking after her. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have been a dog lover and owner for 20+ years. I love introducing new friends to my friendly 5 year old Poodle Terrier, Boba, as well as provide exercise services to pets who have busy parents. I have recently taken a break from the corporate grind, so I am available any time Monday through Friday. Weekend availability is possible if needed. I have a friendly 5 year old Poodle Terrier named Boba, who gets walked at least 3-4 times a day. I have a spacious one bedroom apartment and can take on short boarding. I can also make house calls if needed.

About: I have volunteered and helped cats at the Peninsula Humane Society since 2016. I have experience with socializing shy cats and kittens. I have also been a cat mom for the past two years and neighbors have asked me to watch their cats as well. I have experience with administering medication orally and through injections. I also have experience socializing, playing, and walking small to medium sized dogs! I currently live in San Bruno and work full-time in San Mateo so I will always be nearby for a visit to your pet. I am entirely free on weekends so I may be able to drop in for a visit earlier in the day. I am always diligent about following guidelines set aside for me. I understand that every household is different, so I do my very best to learn and adapt to any changes as needed.

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs for years and just love spending time with animals. I’m pretty good at reading their moods—whether they want playtime, cuddles, or just someone to quietly hang out with. I make sure each visit is more than just feeding or walking—I give your pet the attention and care they deserve. I’m always patient, respectful of their boundaries, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I always try to make the most of my visits—walks, feeding, and definitely playtime. I know your pet will be alone for a while after I leave, so I do my best to give them attention, love, and some good company while I’m there. I’ve got a good sense for animal moods—if your pet’s feeling shy, I’ll give them space. If they’re excited to hang out, I’m all in for playtime and cuddles. I follow your instructions to a T, make sure everything gets done right, and always double-check that everything’s locked up before I go.

About: Hello Pawrent! I'm dog mom who's looking to lend a hand. I have grown up with dogs all my life and am also a proud dog mom to a 30lb mini-bernadoodle. Looking forward to meeting your fluffy kid! I'm completely free most weekends. I can either stay at your home, have your fluffy kid at my house in Burlingame, or do walks / park time to whatever duration you would like. My female spayed mini-bernadoodle is very comfortable being around other dogs if you choose to have your fluffy kid stay with me or choose to have me stop by for walks / playtime.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to 100-pound gentle giants. I live in a quiet, safe area up in the hills with a spacious two-bedroom home and a huge terrace where dogs can safely play, sunbathe, and relax. I work from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone and will get 24/7 attention and care. Currently I work at home and have much time to stay with pets. I will take them go out for at lease twice a day. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel comfortable and secure. I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment, with plenty of love, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I also make sure they get the right amount of activity and downtime based on their personality and needs.

About: Hello there! 🐾🐾🐾 I'm a big dog and cat fan and have owned a family dog growing up, as well as taking care of pets for my friends and family over many years. I enjoy giving pets a lot of love and lots of physical activity! I'll also send a lot of photo updates cause who doesn't love great photos of their cute dogs and cats? I work remotely from home with an extremely flexible schedule so park visits, potty breaks and general pet needs are easy to manage multiple times throughout the day. I like active and happy pets so I walk or play with the pets many times in a day. I also like to maintain a pets daily life as much as possible so that he or she is comfortable.

About: I am a bona fide animal lover that has spent her entire life around dogs and cats as well as the occasional bunny, fish, bird, reptile, and rodent! I feel blessed to have been a caretaker to them and have learned so much from animals!! I am patient, calm under pressure, resourceful, compassionate, and playful. I’m also a firm believer that there’s no such thing as a bad pet. I do work outside of the home and will be outside of the house between the hours of 7am-3pm Mon-Fri. Other than that, I am very much a homebody. I take the responsibility of caring for animals very seriously. I document each pet encounter and provide daily summaries with photos and videos, as well as on demand updates, for the pet parents. I follow any instructions provided, including administering medication, special food, and necessary enrichment activities that your pet may need. When I’m with your pet, I am focused on them and being attentive to their needs.

“Amari is very warm and friendly, and she was reliable and punctual for the walks with Baxter. She was so helpful during my first week with Baxter, whom I adopted on short notice. Baxter has separation anxiety, and Amari skillfully handled an unexpected situation with him and kept me informed. I would definitely use Amari again to care for Baxter.”

“Zahudy was great. She was very attentive our dog, Oliver, and communicated in detail with us every step of the way. Oliver behaved as if we never left home and I think Zahudy played a major role in him doing so well.”

Rachel M.

“Rachel was very communicative, thorough, and truly cared about our dogs! She took lots of photos and provided updates well. Would recommend her highly”

Katrina A.
“Katrina helped me care for my beloved cats when I went away for a work trip for several days. She was caring, attentive, and responsive. She asked thoughtful questions that helped her determine the health and wellness of my cat and made me feel reassured that my cat sitter knew how to handle cats (and animals in general). Katrina played with the cats, fed them, and took care of litter and general cleaning of their things. She is one of the few people my cat is comfortable around! She is great to work with and I will definitely ask her to help me in the future.”

Winnie K.
“Winnie has watched over Teemo (our Pembroke Corgi) on a number of occasions over the years, with a number of them being long term stays that consisted of 3 or more nights. An experienced dog owner, she's done a great job making sure Teemo's physical and emotional needs are met, adhering to his daily routine, feeding and training guidelines while also keeping us updated on how he's doing. Teemo's return to us has always been bittersweet for our doggo as he's always a little sad to leave her care. While Teemo loves Winnie, it's also worth mentioning that a large portion of Teemo's attachment to her "pack" is his affinity towards her personal dog, Boba. He perhaps deserves a review in his own light, but in short, Boba is a ball of joyous energy that seems to be very intuitive when it comes to interacting with other dogs, even some of the more socially awkward ones like Teemo can sometimes be. He reminds me of Top Gun's Goose, "everybody likes him." Suffice to say, I'd absolutely recommend Winnie (and Boba) as caretakers for your dogs.”

Richard U.
“I've known Richard for many years, and one thing that's always stood out is his love for animals. He has long-time experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals. For over a decade, he raised a dog and a cat together in the same household—no small feat!—and also lovingly cared for two guinea pigs during that time. Currently, he shares his home with two adorable cats. Richard is incredibly patient and observant. He has a soft heart and a natural ability to connect with animals, always taking the time to understand their personalities, needs, and moods. Whether it's going for a walk, playing, or simply providing companionship, Richard creates a safe and loving environment for pets. I trust him completely with my own pets, and I have no doubt that he’ll treat every dog or cat he cares for like family. Any pet would be lucky to spend time with him!”

“Zixin D. is truly wonderful. Every time my family travels, we trust her to take care of our dog, and she always goes above and beyond. She walks him several times a day, plays with him, and makes sure he's well-fed and happy. Our dog absolutely loves her! Zixin is kind, attentive, and genuinely loves animals. She even sends us daily photos and videos, and it's clear our dog feels right at home with her. We always have peace of mind knowing he's in such loving and capable hands.”

Brandon P.
“I've had many friends and Rover hosts care for my Samoyed Mila, but Brandon stands out for his dedication and genuine affection towards her. He follows the instructions I leave for a typical daily routine for Mila, takes her on long walks for exercise, plays with her, even grooms her, and consistently sends updates. I feel completely at ease knowing my dog is with someone trustworthy and responsible, and I'd recommend Brandon as a caring sitter for anyone's pet.”

Alia S.
“Alia has cared for my 4 year old shepherd mix multiple times when we were away on vacation. I had so much peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands! She was very responsible and made sure my dog was walked, fed, cared for according to my instructions — she had to deal with my dog’s idiosyncrasies and habits and she did a fabulous job. She is a great communicator and kept me updated on anything going on with either my dog or even the house. She kept my house plants alive and my orchid that seriously hadn’t bloomed in years produced 4 flowers under her care — i was like, what?!! She genuinely loves animals and will do a stellar job caring for yours.”
