About: ANNOUNCEMENT: I am retired from Dog sitting. It has been a privilege to watch so many pups who touched my life. Thank you for the joy they have brought. Feel free to reach out and send updates. Watching your pups was such a joy. I am a dog LOVER and ADVOCATE. I have worked at an animal rescue and have done research/training with pet care for years, as well as, owning dogs and cats most of my life. I have seen so many smiling and loving furbabies of all kinds of breeds and will not discriminate against any. My heart is huge and I have gained much experience with all types of unwanted rescues who dealt with anxiety, aggression, and fear. I aim to create an environment of calm and structure to establish safety and trust. Then, I give LOTS of love and care. Basically, I can handle difficult pets with behavioral issues due to my background with the rescue shelter and with having rescues of all types of behaviors from their own backgrounds. I have rehabilitated and trained many animals with all kinds of needs. Everything is CUSTOMIZABLE to what your dog needs. If the dog is used to a crate or whole room or room with no furniture and if a dog bed or sleeping in a human's bed it is up to the owner. We have it all! OTHER EXPERIENCE: I have had dogs in the past to have fear-aggression and was able to rehabilitate them to be calm towards strangers and to other canines. I believe in nurturing and giving attention to each pet. I understand what separation does to us and our precious canines and know how important it is to give them the affection they need. MY HOUSE: Consists of a dining room/living room, four bedrooms, a large Florida converted to a doggy play area, and a larger fenced back yard. MY DOGS: The dogs I have are currently described as very happy. They are mid aged to senior so they’re pretty mellow. I facilitate calmness and boundaries. I have created an environment where they feel safe and loved. I work a freelance job remote flex schedule, so I can schedule time into my day pretty easily. Flexibility is helpful but I love being accomodating when making sure we get scheduled in for every pet walk or visit. I like to keep to the routine of the pet as much as possible. The more I can alleviate his or her anxiety in a new environment, the better. Whatever the dog or cat needs, I want to be conscious of it.

About: I have ample experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I have assisted family and friends with dog sitting and cat sitting needs many times over and am a loving dog mom to a quirky 3 year old shar pei. Additionally, I was the primary care taker for my families large American Bulldog for over two years. I currently work part time so my availability is usually open to help out with any pet needs. I prefer weekdays over weekends but am happy to help out on weekends as well. I am not currently accepting boarding in my home but am happy to follow any care instructions for sitting and/or walks at your home as needed.
