About: I’ve taken care of pets in all shapes and sizes all my life. This includes pet care for animal therapy organizations, animal shelters, friends, and family. As a previous pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone who can give your pet the best they deserve, and I would love to be that person! I am a current PhD student at MSU so my schedule is pretty flexible outside of my classes, making most of my mornings and evenings available for booking I live right next to one of the entrances to the Northern Tier Trail, so I have easy access to a safe and fun walkable area for your pups!
“Alexander has been great with my RR’s. They are a handful and large and he is patient. He has been reliable over multiple visits and I don’t hesitate to recommend him.”
“Megan is an amazing dog sitter! My anxious boy is pretty skiddish at first but he warmed up so quickly because she made him feel comfortable and safe. I would recommend Megan to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“She was phenomenal with my cats! Gave headsup before starting each checkin, followed their schedules and kept them separate while still spending individual time with them. My super shy cat immediately warmed up to her too, which was an instant relief! 10/10”

“Justin does great with my dog Rayla! Takes her on a walk every time I have required his assistance with my work schedule. Rayla is just as happy and i come home to a happy and a little tuckered out from her adventures. Couldn't ask for a better more convenient service from Justin! Highly recommend him if you need someone to help out with your pup!”

“Hailey did a great job taking care of my two kitties during a very busy holiday week. My pets were comfortable with her from the beginning and she left things clean and tidy. I would be happy to book again:)”

“Tennille was so wonderful with the two kitties! It was so nice to come back to two cats that were happy and well fed. She even dealt with the mouse gift one of them decided to leave for her as a token of affection :)”

“Wonderful and thorough care. I never worried about my boy while gone for a week. She anticipated needs even I did not (full litter box change) and went above and beyond in other ways as well. She sends lots of updates which was a comfort while away. She cared for my boy cat Zissou as if her own. 1000% recommend! She will be who I use for any future needs.”

“Lizz came by twice a day to take care of our three cats while we were away. One of our cats needed a daily inhaler, and she handled it wonderfully. The cats loved playing with Lizz, and having her there gave us such peace of mind knowing our fur babies were well cared for. We will definitely book with her again!”

“"I cannot say enough good things about Haley! She was absolutely fantastic with my boys. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and I was so impressed by how thorough her notes/updates were—it gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She took special care regarding their specific needs and followed my instructions perfectly. Beyond just being professional, she is clearly a kind and genuine person who truly loves animals. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking again!”

“Denni did an amazing job taking care of my cats and making them feel loved while I was away. I was able to relax and feel at ease with Denni’s updates and pictures. Definitely recommend!”

“Lucy was AMAZING with our dog!! We felt very comfortable giving her full access to our home, she's great with communication/pupdates, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend her for all animal needs! Thanks, Lucy!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

About: I've been taking care of animals all my life. I foster with two local rescues and for the most part I deal with puppies! But all dogs are welcome here. I currently work from home and so does my fiancée, so we are home most every day, all day. We will be working from home for the foreseeable future. We have a fenced in yard so that the pups can run around and play to their hearts content. We also have hardwood throughout the house so no worries about accidents!

Lansing cat parents share their Rover experiences
Our usual sitter was unavailable, so I had to find someone last-minute. Luckily, Megan was able to step in and help us out. In person, Megan was relaxed, easy to talk to, and genuinely seemed like a nice person. While we were away, she followed our instructions to the letter and actually took the time to make friends with our cats. The extra effort Megan put forth made our vacation more enjoyable.

Elizabeth was great with Chewy, Harry, and Ollie over the holiday weekend. We’ve used her before and always feel comfortable leaving the cats with her. She’s reliable, communicative, and took great care of everyone while we were away. We’d definitely book with her again!

Kaitlyn did an amazing job looking after our two cats while we were on a 10-day vacation! She was responsive and thorough in her daily report cards, which was so nice to read while we were gone. She even got our very stranger-averse cat to come around, which never happens. We will absolutely be hiring her again in the future! Couldn't have asked for more.

I’ve been using Denni for a year since I travel pretty regularly for work. She’s nothing short of amazing. Lots of good updates, she clearly spends a lot of time loving on them and she makes my life so much less stressful knowing she’s watching them while I’m gone. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

Michael is seriously awesome. From the moment he walked in for the meet & greet, it was obvious I’d made the right choice! He was so comfortable, caring, and loving towards my teenage kitten right away and it made me feel so at ease leaving her in his hands for a few days!! Even when there was a mix up with access to the house, Michael was so proactive, attentive, and flexible! I was beyond grateful. I seriously cannot recommend him enough as a pet sitter and all around wonderful human!!
