Justin has been a lifesaver for us! He is so good with our girls and they look so happy when I see the pictures. He takes them for amazing walks and throws the ball endlessly for them. He communicates wonderfully and gives our girls lots of love and attentions(pets).

Liz is such a sweetheart and took great care of my cat while I was traveling. Was kind enough to water my plants as well. The daily photos and updates put my mind at ease knowing my baby was being well cared for

The pups took to Michael right away at the meet and greet which was a great sign and made me at ease with trusting our dogs to Michael’s care. Pics and reports on each visit let us know the pups were getting the care they needed. Michael was great to work with and such a nice person. We are new to Lansing and are very glad to have found a new dog sitter so quickly. Recommend!

Haley did an amazing job watching our two cats while we were out of town for a long weekend. She was very kind, reliable, and responsive, and sent us multiple pictures while we were away. We came home to happy kitties and will definitely book with her again!

Tennille was a dream come true for two anxious cat parents! She was so good with our cat Inca, who has a lot of health concerns and has a few medications she's on. Tennille not only gave her meds, but lots of pets and cuddles! And we got lots of pictures. Thank you again!

Laura is awesome! She took the time to meet with us prior to the visit and I knew she would be a perfect match for our two cats, Poppy and Noodle. She played with Poppy who looked to be having fun and was playful with Laura. Laura found the shy Noodle in her hiding spot and snapped a photo. The second day Noodle was out of hiding a little, which gave the chance for another photo but more importantly, showed me that even shy Noodle was comfortable with Laura, which is remarkable! Laura was thorough with her report and a very kind persisted. We appreciate her and will welcome her back!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs in some aspect my entire life. From walking, to house sitting, to bathing, if any friend or family member needed their doggo taken care of, I was the girl for the job! I am very good with all kinds of dogs at any stage of their life, as I have been dog sitting for various clients for the last 4-years, both on and off Rover. I’m currently a Ph.D student at MSU, so I’m super flexible when it comes to working around clients schedules. I have in person classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the AM and early afternoon, but other than that, I am happy to spend my free time with pups! I always make sure to follow the parent of the fur baby I’m walking or house sitting to ensure that the experience for both the parent and the pup is a pleasing one.

As the owner of Noble Paw Society LLC, care is approached with intention, discernment, and deep respect for the individuality of every dog. As a certified therapy dog handler and aspiring professional dog trainer, I bring both intuitive understanding and a growing technical foundation to my work. My experience spans dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and backgrounds, supported by extensive foster work that has shaped a calm, adaptable, and safety-first approach to care. I am highly attentive to canine behavior, environmental management, and proper introductions, ensuring that every dog in my care feels secure, respected, and well-matched. Safety, structure, and emotional well-being are at the core of every service I provide. Noble Paw Society operates with a selective client model, maintaining a small, well-curated roster to ensure each dog receives elevated, personalized attention. I offer in-home boarding and house sitting, with availability primarily in the evenings and on weekends. Many of my clients are long-standing relationships built on trust, consistency, and thoughtful care. My home is a calm, dog-centered environment with a secure fenced yard and two well-socialized resident dogs, both rescues. Both are certified therapy dogs (Spring 2025 and Spring 2026). Dogs here are treated as family, with comfort, enrichment, and appropriate boundaries thoughtfully balanced. For those who value discretion, reliability, and a higher standard of care, Noble Paw Society offers a refined approach to pet sitting rooted in trust, safety, and genuine connection.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

My doggies needed a check-in at the last minute, and Arden was quick to respond to my request and ready and willing to help. My day could have been super stressful, worrying about my doggies while I was stuck away from home. But Arden, who is super reliable, made my day worry-free. Those kinds of seemingly small things make a big difference, and it's clear that Arden understands that. Highly recommend!

My partner and I are first time Rover users and I am so thankful to have had Megan drop in for our two cats for six days. Long story short, Megan is good at what she does and made our vacation worry-free knowing our kitties were under her attentive care. Our older cat recently had some medical difficulties and she was very knowledgeable about medication administration with our older cat and kept him calm, safe, and well medicated during our vacation. Our younger cat had some behavioral issues and she was communicative and very professional in dealing with negative cat behavior previously unknown to us. She took good care of our little stinker and was great at problem solving. PS: she took some excellent model shots of our cats and that was always a joy to see. 🥰 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Megan was an absolute gem of a pet sitter. I have never felt so confident leaving my pets while traveling out of the country with someone. She answered all my questions, kept me updated on any health changes and stayed the full 30 minutes each time. She was so good, I’m booking her again for all my other trips because I know I’ll have someone who cares as much about my babies as I do watching them. I couldn’t ask for someone better.

Elizabeth was so patient with our Jack but by the end of the time he was sitting on her lap and letting her feed him from churru tubes. She worked hard to earn his trust which made a long trip successful for everyone. She also graciously put our trash and recycling bins out and away on our trash days plus made sure to bring in packages that kept being delivered after our wedding. She was super communicative, sent a few videos of Jack with his new found love of cat tv and made us feel very secure leaving our baby for a longer period of time. Highly recommend!

Kaitlyn did an amazing job looking after our two cats while we were on a 10-day vacation! She was responsive and thorough in her daily report cards, which was so nice to read while we were gone. Michael is seriously awesome. From the moment he walked in for the meet & greet, it was obvious I’d made the right choice! He was so comfortable, caring, and loving towards my teenage kitten right away and it made me feel so at ease leaving her in his hands for a few days!! Even when there was a mix up with access to the house, Michael was so proactive, attentive, and flexible! I was beyond grateful. I seriously cannot recommend him enough as a pet sitter and all around wonderful human!!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Lansing on Rover is $19.98 per visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 364 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Lansing. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lansing. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
