“Jessa was punctual, professional, and very considerate with my dogs. She is very kind and it's easy to see how excited she is to care for pets while also helping you out.”

“Camdyn is wonderful We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs, Charlie and Puppers, received. From the moment we left, we felt confident they were in great hands. Camdyn kept us updated, gave them plenty of attention, and treated them like family.”

“Amanda was amazing with Dave! It was my first time leaving him alone for an extended period of time and she made sure to give him the love and attention he needed, even coming back an extra session to make sure he was eating and using the litter box! I got the cutest pictures while I was away too”

“Kaitlyn is a fantastic kitty sitter! She watched our kitten over Christmas and New Years keeping him healthy and happy! We so looked forward to getting her pictures of him each stay and her notes on what’s what! She was very communicative and easy to get ahold of when need be. I highly recommend Kaitlyn if you need someone you can trust to watch your kitty kitty!”

“Louise and I loved Makenzie. Prompt with each visit. Detailed messages including photos. Louise was clearly happy and felt safe with Makenzie. Given Louise’s timidness with new people, is a compliment to Mackenzie.”

“Persephone took good care of my cat Pirate. Every check-in, she sent photo updates. In addition to daily food/water/litter, she also made sure Pirate was in good mood. I highly recommend her, and would love to ask her for help again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Caring for them has always been a natural part of my life, and I’d love the opportunity to help care for yours! Whether your pup needs a fun walk, a caring pet sitter while you’re away, or someone to spend quality time playing and keeping them company, I’m here to help. I understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, and routine, and I’ll make sure they receive the love, attention, and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own by providing plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I plan my schedule to make sure every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether it’s morning or evening walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping a pet company, I’m committed to being reliable and consistent. Since I have pets of my own, I understand how important routines are, and I’ll do my best to maintain your pet’s normal schedule so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, and any special care instructions. I know that keeping pets in their familiar routine helps them feel safe, comfortable, and less stressed while their family is away. When spending time with pets, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and enrichment based on their individual personality and energy level. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, loving, and positive experience for every pet while giving owners peace of mind.

About: I’m a pet parent to both dogs and cats, so I know firsthand what it means to leave your animals with someone and hope they’re truly cared for beyond just fed and checked on. I bring that same warmth and attentiveness to every sit. As a remote consultant and student, I work from wherever I am which means your pets can have company during the day if that’s what’s best for them. I’m a longtime pet owner, which means I’m dependable, communicative, and genuinely animal-centered. Your home will be respected, your animals will be loved on, and you’ll actually enjoy your time away knowing someone fun and trustworthy is holding things down. I take feeding schedules, medications, and training rules seriously — because consistency is what keeps your pets feeling safe and settled while you’re gone. The goal is that your travel is disruptive to you as little as possible, and to your pets not at all. I value clear, direct communication and will keep you updated so you’re never left wondering how things are going. I’ll bring that same straightforwardness from our first message all the way through drop-off. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, and small animals, and I love getting to know each pet’s personality and quirks. Whether your dog needs a playmate or your cat just wants company on the couch, I’m here for it. Every sit is a little different, and I think that’s how it should be — your pet’s needs shape how I show up, not the other way around. I work remotely as a consultant and student, so my schedule shifts week to week. What stays consistent is this: feeding times, medications, and check-ins happen on schedule regardless of what else I have going on. Those are non-negotiable. For house sitting I’ll be upfront during our meet and greet about what my week looks like so you know exactly what to expect. If I’m in a lighter work week I may be home most of the day. If it’s a heavier one, your pet will still be cared for on schedule with daily updates and photos so you’re always in the loop. I send daily check-ins and photo updates through the app — not because I have to, but because I’d want the same if it were my pet. In your home, my goal is to keep things as close to normal as possible. I follow your lead on space, boundaries, and routines — whether that means crate time, free roam, or somewhere in between. You know your pet best and I’m here to honor that. My activity style matches the pet. Some animals want to play and roughhouse, others want a warm body nearby while they nap. I pay attention to what they’re telling me and respond accordingly — no forcing, no overstimulating, no ignoring. For cats specifically I understand that trust is earned on their timeline, not mine. I’ll be present and available without being intrusive, and I’ll make sure their food, water, litter, and any medications are handled consistently every single day. For dogs I make sure they’re getting outside regularly, staying on their feeding schedule, and getting the kind of engagement that fits their energy level.

About: I have always been a dog/cat person! I own two dogs, Henry and Mikey, and a cat Lucy. I previously worked at a doggy daycare so my experience ranges with dog breeds! I leave a nice big yard that I love to play with my dogs in. I am also good with anxious/rescue dogs who need a bit more attention. I am very excited to care for your dog! I work Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30, but work from home so my door is always open (when the weather is nice) and my dogs are in and out as they please to play and sunbathe on our porch! Our dogs have full access to our yard all day! We feed them in the garage and they have access to water in the kitchen throughout the day. We let our pets on the furniture and beds. We live in a nice neighborhood that is great for walking, too!

“Samantha was great! This was my first time ever leaving my dog alone during the day, and Samantha completely eased my mind by answering all of my questions and sending lots and lots of updates. She went over and beyond by taking my dog for two walks to make sure she went potty before leaving, and was able to spend a lot of time with her. It’s so tough to find someone trustworthy to watch your pups, but Samantha is all that and more. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Malia is fantastic! This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about how things would go, but once I met Malia and saw her interact with my dog, I felt at ease. Malia communicated with me often and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Malia!”
“Nicholas was so kind and thoughtful. He helped my nervous Duke settle in right away as Duke was happy and relaxed for their visit! Nicholas is knowledgeable about dog behavior and psychology, so he knew right away how to approach Duke and help him feel confident and secure. Duke enjoyed his visits and I would absolutely work with Nicholas again!”

Bernice was incredible!! I very rarely ever leave my dog, but she made me feel so at ease knowing that he was in kind, caring, & attentive hands! She took great care of my dog, & was also great with providing updates and photos to ensure I was always in the loop. I would rebook her in a heartbeat, & highly recommend her for any pet care needs! Very grateful for the care she provided my dog.

The pups took to Michael right away at the meet and greet which was a great sign and made me at ease with trusting our dogs to Michael’s care. Pics and reports on each visit let us know the pups were getting the care they needed. Michael was great to work with and such a nice person. We are new to Lansing and are very glad to have found a new dog sitter so quickly. Recommend!

Tennille is the best! We had her stop by and check on our two dogs while we were out of town and they were in such good hands! She kept us updated with every visit, including so many pictures and our dogs warmed up to her very easily! Very trustworthy- we will defiantly be repeat customers🙃

Carson took great care of our pups. She fed them breakfast and played with them in our backyard for the remainder of the hour drop in. When our pup, Tito, decided to go for an early morning swim in his pool towards the end of her visit, she made sure to dry him off before bringing him in and locking up.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
