“My doggies needed a check-in at the last minute, and Arden was quick to respond to my request and ready and willing to help. My day could have been super stressful, worrying about my doggies while I was stuck away from home. But Arden, who is super reliable, made my day worry-free. Those kinds of seemingly small things make a big difference, and it's clear that Arden understands that. Highly recommend!”

“We had a short notice trip and thankfully we're able to find Anthony available. After a meet and greet with our 2 adult dogs and 1 puppy we knew it would go well. Even our puppy who is a little hesitant of new people loved him immediately. Anthony did good with sending pictures, keeping the house clean, and making sure to send updates.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life and they seem to gravitate towards me. I’ve been doing this professionally for over a decade. Pet and human caregiving happens to be my full time vocation so my schedule tends to be quite flexible. Looking for short and long-term gigs. I know that your home and pets are incredibly important in your lives so I recognize the great amount of trust that requires and is something i take very seriously.
“Our 2 cats love Marissa. She came and took great care of them while we were away for a few days. She not only cared for them, but she takes great care being in our home as well. We 100% trust her in these situations, and she communicates well regarding what they are doing while she is with them. You won't find anyone better.”

About: I've been caring for dogs my entire highschool career and I'm keeping it going while I'm in college. I have cared for big, small, older, and special need dogs. I can handle any challenge the pet may bring. I grew up with cats, dogs, fishes, and Axolotls, always at least 4 animals in the house at one time! I'm at school from 8:10am-11:30am On Monday-Thursday with plenty of time for check ins morning, afternoon, and evening. I am often busy on Fridays during the spring and fall but my weekends are completely open! I am familiar with care for all types of dogs and their quirks, I give frequent walks, make sure food and water is available, and play with them. I like to provide as much comfort as I can to pets that miss their owners.
“Alex was great! He was very communicative about my pets and let me know what time he was arriving and leaving each day. He made sure our boy cat got his medicine and was really good about getting our picky cat to eat away from the others. He sent pictures each day, which was very comforting. He also brought in packages from our mail securely in the house, which was extra helpful.”

About: When petsitting, I go beyond basic pet sitting by tailoring care to each pet’s personality and routine. I’m reliable, a good communicator, and can keep you updated via pictures! I also have experience administering medications and handling anxious pets as I have one of my own. My goal is to prioritize your pets safety, and keep them happy and comfortable. I am on the MSU women’s rowing team, and only have practices 6:30-9:30am daily. Aside from that, I have a part-time job with a very free schedule. I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment whether pets are in my own home or yours. I don’t like to get them off routine as I know that can be a bit overwhelming for some animals, and love to give lots of attention! I’ll also be attentive to any needs of the pet, and keep you updated with photos/texts so you know your pet is in good hands!
About: I’ve had many pets from a young age and take great joy in taking care of them. I have experience with dogs, cats, small pets, and reptiles and love learning about care for all other sorts of animals! I work four days a week leaving me available after 6 pm on weekdays and anytime on the weekends. As well as a varying day throughout the week. I currently do not offer in home care for pets but will update if this changes in the future or if I’m able to make a acceptance
“Amanda was amazing with Dave! It was my first time leaving him alone for an extended period of time and she made sure to give him the love and attention he needed, even coming back an extra session to make sure he was eating and using the litter box! I got the cutest pictures while I was away too”

“Ally was absolutely amazing with my cat! He came right up and snuggled her on their very first meeting and she made him feel very comfortable and loved while I was out of town. I’ll definitely be rebooking with Ally to watch the dog and cat(s) when I’m away in the future. Highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - DeWitt
This was our first time not using a traditional boarding, and Megan was amazing. Loved getting the updates at each drop in, being able to communicate with her, and just the general comfort the pets had with her. Made us feel a little more at ease knowing our fur babies were in the comfort of their own home and someone that felt comfortable with was spending quality time with them 3 times a day. Will definitely trust our babies to Megan again.

Outstanding experience with Sheri. She took care of both our dogs — a high-energy 1-year-old yellow lab and our 14-year-old chocolate lab who needs a bit more attention — and handled both without any issues. Sheri went above and beyond in ways we didn't ask for and didn't expect. She wiped the dogs down every time they came inside, which matters a lot with a younger lab who gets into everything. She also picked up after them in the yard — never asked, just did it. That kind of stuff you notice. We came home to two happy dogs and a clean space. No complaints at all. I would absolutely book Sheri again and recommend her to anyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
