“If you have cats, you want Tesa! We were absolutely delighted with the love she showed our two senior kitties while we were away for a week. They were spooked with someone new, but she was so patient and calm with them. She also stayed to socialize and not just scoop and run, which we really appreciated as they're used to having someone in the house all day (working from home). Misty needs medication with her food and Tesa was sure to feed them apart so TJ wouldn't eat it. (Way above and beyond, she even washed the bathroom rug when one of the cats had an accident!) We definitely recommend Tesa and would love to have her watch our cats again!! 11/10!!”

About: A couple weeks before coming down to college, my family dog passed away. He was a german shorthair pointer and the most energetic dog I’ve ever met. I had a lot of experience taking care of him, going on walks, playing with him, etc. Missing him has made me miss having a dog in general, so I’m hoping to get in some time with some other dogs. I’m a student and I have a fairly busy schedule, but I have some blocks of free hours in the middle of my day and I’m usually free after 4:00pm I can give your dog food, take them outside to play, go on walks, or just be there to pet them and give them some love while you’re away

“Julie went above & beyond when checking in on our anti-social kitties. Her patience paid off and the fuzzy, grumpy one accepted pets and even purred! Thank you for jumping in last minute to care for Kassie & Kilo :)”

“This was a repeat booking of Cheyenne to drop in on my cats in my home. I have four cats including two geriatric bebes who need special care. She gives them their shots and pills and takes care of all their other little needs, and gives great updates through the visit cards. The cats seem calm and happy when we get home, and I'm pretty sure they like Cheyenne a lot! Would definitely recommend her for taking care of your cats!”

About: My schedule is hybrid so I can be in and out during the work day. I grew up around cats and also have a toy fox terrier. I spent a lot of time with labs as well. Spade spent a lot of time with beagles and labs. I used to have a Chihuahua who sadly passed away 2 years ago. The yard is completely fenced in and big enough for them to play. I will also take them for walks. I have experience with injections for dogs that need insulin or medication. I work two days at home three days in office. It is hybrid and a lot of it is spent out in the community so I am able to pop in and out a lot during the work week. I have a fenced in backyard. I have a dog that is super friendly and loving. She loves other animals and any kind of company.
“Ashley did a fantastic job taking care of our kitty. She sent several pictures each day that showed she made sure all of his needs were met, plus some! We would definitely recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a person that will genuinely care for their pet.”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

About: I grew up with 5 pets in the house, 3 dogs and 2 cats. I loved taking all the dogs on walks and playing with them on the beach or outside in the yard. And when I’m inside, I love chilling with the cats :) I am currently only working part-time so I have a very open schedule due to recently graduating from MSU. I am more than happy to work with you on scheduling if needed. I treat any home as if it’s my own. Currently I live in an apartment and will not be able to take your pets to my residence, I am more than happy to stay in your’s. I am a fast learner and can adapt to new environments very well :)
About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I can remember. I didn’t start taking it seriously until about 14 (which is 10 years ago now!). The very first animal of my own was my cat Oliver who came home in 2014. I sadly lost him this March but he truly fueled my passion for animals! I have two mini Australian Shepherds of my own so I have experience with high energy herding breeds. I’ve done all their training myself! They even have their own Instagram. My dads chosen breed is olde English bulldogges so I have experience caring for brachycephalic breeds as well. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! :) Currently I’m only available on weekends and Mondays but I have open availability on those days to play with your fur babies! I’m hoping to open my schedule up in the evening on weekdays. I never let clients dogs off-leash unless we are in a fenced, safe area. I take all precautions when walking a clients pup as I know how precious my own are to me! I care for your babies as my own because I would want the same for mine.
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I truly love. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and medical needs—from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring daily medications, mobility assistance, and close observation. I am especially comfortable caring for senior and special-needs dogs. Currently, I care for three senior dogs of my own, including a 14-year-old dog with mobility and nerve issues who requires daily assistance, a deaf senior dog who needs patience and consistency, and a blind retired hunting dog who still loves spending time outdoors. Because of my experience, I understand how important it is to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and overall health. I am highly detail-oriented and take pet care seriously. Whether that means following medication schedules exactly, sticking to feeding routines, monitoring activity levels, or providing updates and photos for owners, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care, and I work hard to provide peace of mind while you're away. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have volunteered as a foster home and have experience helping dogs adjust to new environments, routines, and people. I am comfortable with shy, anxious, senior, and medically complex dogs, and I enjoy taking the time to build trust at each dog's pace. My goal is simple: to provide safe, loving, dependable care so your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. My work schedule offers flexibility, which allows me to accommodate pet visits, walks, and drop-in care throughout the week. Just as importantly, I am honest about my availability. If I cannot provide the level of care and attention your pet deserves on a particular day or for a specific request, I will communicate that upfront rather than overcommit. I believe pets thrive with consistency, patience, and dependable care. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a long walk, medication administration, or extra attention due to age or medical needs, I will make sure their routine is followed and they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Clear communication and reliability are priorities for me, and I provide regular updates so owners have peace of mind knowing their pets are being well cared for. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the property with the same respect and attention I would expect for my own. As an owner of short-term rental properties, I understand the importance of being trustworthy, detail-oriented, and respectful while in someone else's space. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, routines, house rules, and any special care needs. I pay close attention to details and enjoy getting to know each pet's personality, habits, and preferences. I am also comfortable monitoring senior pets and those with medical needs, recognizing subtle changes that may require an owner's attention. At this time, I am not accepting pets into my own home, so my services are focused on caring for pets in their familiar environment. I believe many pets are happiest and least stressed when they can remain in their own home and maintain their normal routines.
About: I've had a love for dogs for as long as I can remember as I have helped care for my parents and a variety of friend's dogs throughout the years and enjoyed every second of it. Weekend appts work best for me but am willing to work with you if you need help on the weekdays with any of my listed services. I work eight hour days, five days a week Mon-Fri, so your fur baby will be without a potty break until I get home on those days. I am available all day Saturday and Sunday. I do not have a large backyard but will make sure they get plenty of stimulation outdoors with long walks and play. I would prefer it if your dog is crate trained and would need to be either crated or separated using my dog gates while I am at work. I have a shih tzu of my own who is very friendly and submissive. Ultimately, whatever the client needs for their dog will be made possible so long as it is feasible.
About: My entire life I’ve had the blessing to care for pets. From my Rottweiler Roxie, to my sweet kitty Nala, I’ve learned what to look for to provide the best care to my animals. I’ve also had extensive training in caring for livestock. During my undergrad I spent three years as a pig farmer and I loved every minute of it. I’m hoping to work most days after 3pm but no later than 10pm. I have some flexibility on most weekends. Would prefer mornings during the weekend but I am flexible. I have a fenced in yard that my cat likes to explore in. I also have a laundry room that can be used to separate my cat from any of your animals if needed.
“Emma did a wonderful job caring for our two cats while we were away! She was an excellent communicator and we enjoyed the pictures and videos she sent. I would definitely recommend Emma!”

“Thank you very very much for taking good care of my cats. They look fine but they are hungry. I just got home at 5 o clock and I will feed them. Hope you get this note before you come over in this frigid weather.”

“Jamie has been so patient and kind dropping in on our very shy cat while we’ve been away. Jamie is excellent at communicating and always responds quickly. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jamie again!”

“Quinn is terrific. Punctual, responsive, trustworthy. He was attentive and understanding about the quirks of our two dogs and seemed to be a real dog enthusiast in general. Our dogs took to him right away.”
DeWitt dog parents share their Rover experiences
Outstanding experience with Sheri. She took care of both our dogs — a high-energy 1-year-old yellow lab and our 14-year-old chocolate lab who needs a bit more attention — and handled both without any issues. Sheri went above and beyond in ways we didn't ask for and didn't expect. She wiped the dogs down every time they came inside, which matters a lot with a younger lab who gets into everything. She also picked up after them in the yard — never asked, just did it. That kind of stuff you notice. We came home to two happy dogs and a clean space. No complaints at all. I would absolutely book Sheri again and recommend her to anyone.
