Robert was absolutely wonderful! This was our first time using Rover, and knowing that Ellie was being so well cared for completely put my mind at ease while we were away. He was incredibly kind, dependable, easy to communicate with, and sent us updates and pictures after every visit so we always knew how she was doing. What really stood out was how much genuine time and attention he gave Ellie. He played lots of fetch with her, which is her absolute favorite, gave her plenty of love and attention, made sure she was fed and had treats, and really took the time to let her get comfortable with him. You can tell Robert genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and takes caring for someone else’s pet seriously. We came home to a happy, well loved dog, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely book with Robert again and would recommend him without hesitation. I’ve had the opportunity to have Rob care for my dogs over the past several years, and I can confidently say he’s been reliable, attentive, and great with a wide range of needs. He spent a lot of time with my senior Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie mix, who required extra attention and medications toward the end of her life. He was patient, consistent, and clearly developed a strong bond with her, she was always excited to see him. He’s also been excellent with my younger dogs, including a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix and a Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie mix. He regularly takes them on walks during the day and does a great job managing their different energy levels and personalities. What stands out most is his consistency and how comfortable the dogs are with him. I’ve always felt confident they were in good hands, whether it was routine walks or more involved care.
