“Megan was absolutely great doing drop in visits for our cat!! We had never used a sitter before, so we were very nervous being gone for the week. From the first contact, Megan was amazing. She was quick to respond and address any questions we had. Within a couple of days, she came by for a visit so we could show her everything and explain what we needed. We have a very timid cat, that hides under the bed from anyone but us…until now! Megan was able to get her to come out during her visits. She provided updates during the visits and after. “This was my 1st time using a home service like Rover to care for my sweet Maine Coon. I was nervous but Daphne did a great job. We had a pre-meeting prior to my vacation and that went very well. DAPHNE got a chance to meet my Willow and we got a chance to meet her and go over all our routines. I was gone for two weeks and DAPHNE communicated every day with a brief update on how the visit went and how willow was doing and she took pictures and sent them every day as well. I could tell that my baby was happy and content and that made being away from her for an extended time much easier. She took care of both our dogs — a high-energy 1-year-old yellow lab and our 14-year-old chocolate lab who needs a bit more attention — and handled both without any issues. Our qualifications include basic puppy training from Petco, as well as completion of the Delta Therapy Dogs program which utilizes Animal Assisted Activities (AAA) to improve well-being in various settings like hospitals, mental health facilities, and more. I’ve had the blessing of entirely raising a dog a cat and even a snake, from months of age to adulthood and throughout their elder years on my own. I am currently on summer break from school and work full-time as a Behavior Technician in Okemos, MI ! Other than my day-job I have a complete open availability on nights, afternoons and weekends. Plenty of time to smother your fur-baby with love and affection ! I have an upstairs apartment with two cats and a pet snake. There are no stairs inside my apartment so there is easy access for disabled and senior fur-babies. My bedroom and guest room also reside all on the same floor.

From learning patience with young dogs at the age of 5 weeks old, to attending to a 14 -year-old dog, I have open-handedly experienced what it is like dealing with dogs of all ages. I have also dealt with the sassy teenager phase from both dogs and cats. When they are bored, they will make it known. The biggest take I have learned from taking care of dogs and cats is that they won’t always be on your timeline. You have to be extremely patient and take time to train them and be there for them. I’m currently working part-time Monday 9am-5pm, and every other Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-7pm. I am going to school but I mainly take online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible and my boyfriend also lives with me and helps me so your pet won’t get bored! He’s home during the periods I am out so overall my schedule is free. I have a fenced in mini pet park next to my apartment. Your furry companion will get all of the exercise he/she needs! My apartment is very cozy and safe, only smaller pets are allowed so there won’t be any issue with other pet owner neighbors.

About: Hi, I have plenty of experience with my three grand-dogs. I am so good with them, my son suggested I sign up for Rover. The first dog is a border collie / flat coat retriever mix. She has spent overnights, and days with me at my home. I visit her daly for a walk and fun. The other two are golden retrievers. They come most of the time as a pair, Again I have had them for overnights, day time sitting and walks. I also spend time feeding my neighbor's two dogs, mainly getting them to sit for a treat. I am currently retired. My schedule is very fluid and flexible. I spend a lot of time on house/yard projects and spending time with my two son's families. I try to get goingearly and get outside. I do not have a fenced yard, sorry. With all of the dogs in my neighborhood, I keep my canine visators leashed, If your pet is with me I will make sure we get outside for some exploring the smells in my neighborhood.

There are no other pets in my home and it is a non-smoking home. I live with my boyfriend in a house and his 9 year old daughter is with us 50% of the time. My boyfriend’s father is a retired veterinarian and my boyfriend is experienced with vet med as well. I work from home full-time so I am mostly always home and available to be with your dog. There are great walking paths around me as well as parks to go to. I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon! I work from home so I will be with your dog all day. The only time I would be apart would be for quick errands or potentially events, but no more than a few hours. I do day care and dog boarding at my house. I can also do drop in visits or dog walking. Dogs are always allowed on our furniture and beds if that is something they are used to at home.

Though I do my best to always be the one meeting you for pick ups & drop offs sometimes I do juggle multiple pets & I do not only work in my home but I watch clients pet in their homes as well sometimes just to let their dogs on potty breaks so please stick to your pick up & drop off times and do your best to let me know ahead of time if you are running late or anything changes, I know my clients would like to see me but I do have family here that many of my clients are familiar with now that help me with pick up/drop offs when I can’t not be there right at the moment. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions at any time! We get that sometimes your pet may be more comfortable in their own home which is perfectly fine! Can’t come to us? I can come to you! We offer house sitting/drop in visits/doggy daycare & walks ! Please feel free to let us know if you would rather have house visits so we can go over every detail when it comes to the safety of your pet & home ! My at home & work schedule is pretty flexible So I can always work something Out to Make proper accommodations & I also have family members with verified rover accounts if I ever need help We usually have anywhere from 1-3 pets with us a week and will make proper accommodations when planned accordingly, (please contact me a week in advance if you pet is to be kept alone/away from other pets)
About: I have over 12 years of professional animal care along with being fear free certified under my belt. Between being an animal behavior specialist, a farm hand, and now a pet care specialist. I work well with reactive dogs and understand their behavior. I am patient and understanding of nervous or scared animals, and am more than happy to take the time they may need to warm up! I have a true passion and love for all animals. I promise to take great care of your furry friend. My weekly schedule is not set but I can be flexible and am willing to work with your schedule! I am always available 6:00-7:00am and 8:00-10:00pm When going on walks, I will always have a treat pouch, slip lead, and spray shield (dog repellent) on my person to ensure the safest walk your dog has ever been on!
About: When petsitting, I go beyond basic pet sitting by tailoring care to each pet’s personality and routine. I’m reliable, a good communicator, and can keep you updated via pictures! I also have experience administering medications and handling anxious pets as I have one of my own. My goal is to prioritize your pets safety, and keep them happy and comfortable. I am on the MSU women’s rowing team, and only have practices 6:30-9:30am daily. Aside from that, I have a part-time job with a very free schedule. I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment whether pets are in my own home or yours. I don’t like to get them off routine as I know that can be a bit overwhelming for some animals, and love to give lots of attention! I’ll also be attentive to any needs of the pet, and keep you updated with photos/texts so you know your pet is in good hands!
