My experience in pet care goes back to when I was in grade school caring for family friend’s pets and homes while they’re away. I pride myself on understanding animals and making sure they’re comfortable - especially when I’m in their domain! I’m not one to just throw some food in the bowl and call it a day. I make sure to give the fur babies some extra love and have some play time with every check in. I know how important my pets are to me, so I want to make sure clients are cared for in a genuine way. Treat others pets how you’d like yours to be treated, ya know?!

I treat my clients how I would want my pets to be taken care of. That means taking the extra time to hang out for a bit and give them some love and pets along with some play time if they’re up for it. Some pets are more playful than others, and every personality is different. I pride myself on catering to each individual and gauging what they want from me. That could vary from giving them personal space to giving them the most pets ever! I take pet parent notes and advice very seriously, and appreciate any insight into how your fur baby thinks. Thank you for letting me care for your family member while you’re away!

Michael has taken care of our cats twice now and I am very pleased with his work. He makes sure that they are fed, have water and clean litter. The pictures he sends are reassuring that my cats are safe, and well cared for. He also takes the time to play with the cats. Also, he is very respectful of our home, our animals and us. I highly recommend him!

The pups took to Michael right away at the meet and greet which was a great sign and made me at ease with trusting our dogs to Michael’s care. Pics and reports on each visit let us know the pups were getting the care they needed. Michael was great to work with and such a nice person. We are new to Lansing and are very glad to have found a new dog sitter so quickly. Recommend!
Michael Anthony was wonderful with our dog, Honey Bear. She was very happy and connect when we returned after 7 hours away. Michael stopped by twice which was perfect. We will definitely book another day with Michael Anthony.

Michael is seriously awesome. From the moment he walked in for the meet & greet, it was obvious I’d made the right choice! He was so comfortable, caring, and loving towards my teenage kitten right away and it made me feel so at ease leaving her in his hands for a few days!! Even when there was a mix up with access to the house, Michael was so proactive, attentive, and flexible! I was beyond grateful. I seriously cannot recommend him enough as a pet sitter and all around wonderful human!!

Schedule
I primarily work nights at my “day job,” so I am available every morning & afternoon for check ins or walks. I am also available for late evening check ins after work or midnight walks.
