About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

“Nikki has been great with my young dog. She has walked/dropped in to check on him during two separate occasions when he was healing from surgery or other procedures from the vet. She is great about sending updates for when she is on the way to my house and on my dog’s mood that day. She is very good at reading him and judging whether he wanted to walk that day or just hang out in the backyard. I recommend Nikki for drop in visits or dog walks.”

About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. Currently my schedule is very flexible and open during the whole week. Should that schedule change I will update this description and let any clients I’m working with know. I have a very flexible work schedule as a massage therapist, if a day isn’t available I will have it updated as unavailable on my rover calendar. I always make sure to allow all pets to come to me at their own pace without making them feel like I’m invading their personal space. This helps them be comfortable with me quickly and feel safe in their home.

About: I am a pet owner whose focus on kindness and care is central to interactions with pets. I have experience with anxious pets, older dogs, and am a purposeful listener that is focused in making the pets and humans feel comfortable! I work full time at the university, but work from home 2-3 days a week. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to make adjustments depending on what works best for everyone. About: I have had a dog in my family since I was a toddler. In my life, my family has had one Golden Retriever, and 6 Pomeranians. We rescued 3 of these pups! And all at one time, we had 4 Pomeranians - making me have to really help out with training and dog care. My family has always been passionate about animals, specifically dogs. We emphasize the importance of taking care of a pet as if it’s a family member. I grew up helping take care of them: Training, walks, runs, bike rides, meals, hiking, car rides, cuddles, brushing, baths, vet appointments. Additionally, I always ensure my rescue dogs feel comfortable in their new home. Naturally, all dogs are easily comfortable with me. I always drive hours home just to spend time with my fur babies with my parents. Once I learned about this app, I instantly downloaded it. I’m so excited to spend my free time doing something that makes me happy! I currently work full-time in lansing from 8:30am-5pm M-F. I love animals and have extra time so I would like to make additional income! I am available after work or on weekends as long as I get enough notice. I will be sure to spend time with the pet when I’m taking care of it. I will go on walks, go outside, and play with the pet. I will do whatever the pet owner asks from me and ensure the pet has my attention while I’m with them.

I’ve spent a good part of my life volunteering with animals, helping wildlife rehab, pet-sitting and caring for my own amazing pets. I treat every pet as if they were own, with nothing but love, kindness and respect. It’s scary leaving our pets alone with someone, but I want to assure you that your furry friends will receive the best care possible. I will adhere to your typical schedule and rules, if you have any, and provide extra care if needed (bathing for those times they decide to take a mud bath, for example). I’m all too happy to text and send photos to clients of their pet while they are away, as I believe communication is important and can help ease our natural anxieties about leaving our pets. The only thing I want you to focus on is enjoying that vacation or getting caught up on work—whatever it is that you need a sitter for! I’m currently a psychology student but am fortunate enough to have all my classes online, allowing me extra time to spend with my pets. My pets are diligently cared for daily, including walks, scheduled feeding times, and scooping litter multiple times a day. With my open schedule I can give them the best care they need. Safety is my number one priority. No outside trips without a leash, being observant and picking up things they may get in to, checking fences, and just general looking out for them. During their stay with me, your fur baby will be looked after by me and my family in our home & treated as one of our own. we offer a nice sized & fenced in backyard where your Pet can run around and have as much zoomies as they’d like in a safe environment. We will provide you with pictures/videos & keep you updated about your pets well being & just to send over any cute pictures of course. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions at any time! We get that sometimes your pet may be more comfortable in their own home which is perfectly fine! Can’t come to us? I can come to you! We offer house sitting/drop in visits/doggy daycare & walks !
