About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. Currently my schedule is very flexible and open during the whole week. Should that schedule change I will update this description and let any clients I’m working with know. I have a very flexible work schedule as a massage therapist, if a day isn’t available I will have it updated as unavailable on my rover calendar. I always make sure to allow all pets to come to me at their own pace without making them feel like I’m invading their personal space. This helps them be comfortable with me quickly and feel safe in their home.

About: After our dog crossed the rainbow bridge at nearly 14 years old, my spouse, Randy and I, have loved caring for family pets intermittently. Being retired has opened up more time to share our love with your dog(s)! Retired couple. Our ranch home is pet friendly with sliding patio door for our fenced yard access. I am a nurse so also comfortable giving medications. We love walking dogs we care for if desired twice per day. We have a fenced yard with trail access for walking dogs if desired twice per day. Dogs are welcome on furniture if allowed at your home. We keep dog towels by our patio access for paw wiping.

About: Hi! My name is Emma, I’m 25 years old and I have a lot of experience with almost every type of animal. Especially dogs! Ive worked as a groomer and counselor at Camp Bow Wow, a daycare and boarding facility for dogs. So I have experience with all age ranges and breeds of dogs. I also worked on an exotic farm that had lots of animals from bunnies and farm animals to baby kangaroos and macaws. I personally own a 6 and 3 year old cat, and a 10 year old border collie who’s very active, so I understand a dog that needs lots of excercise! I’ve also had pets like a leopard gecko, Guinea pigs, rats, and absolutely love birds! I work 9-4 Monday through Friday but I’m always up early. I could come check on your fur babies in the morning, then more quality and excercise/play time in the afternoon after work. My weekends are completely open. We are outside a lot! My border collie is 10 but he could still play all day! He is typically playing fetch, catching bubbles, or playing in the sprinkler while I work on the garden. They get fresh water, dry food throughout the day, and wet dinner at night so I understand routines and feeding times.

During their stay with me, your fur baby will be looked after by me and my family in our home & treated as one of our own. we offer a nice sized & fenced in backyard where your Pet can run around and have as much zoomies as they’d like in a safe environment. We will provide you with pictures/videos & keep you updated about your pets well being & just to send over any cute pictures of course. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions at any time! We get that sometimes your pet may be more comfortable in their own home which is perfectly fine! Can’t come to us? I can come to you! We offer house sitting/drop in visits/doggy daycare & walks ! Please feel free to let us know if you would rather have house visits so we can go over every detail when it comes to the safety of your pet & home ! My at home & work schedule is pretty flexible So I can always work something Out to Make proper accommodations & I also have family members with verified rover accounts if I ever need help We usually have anywhere from 1-3 pets with us a week and will make proper accommodations when planned accordingly, (please contact me a week in advance if you pet is to be kept alone/away from other pets)

About: Currently working as a veterinary assistant, at Michigan State for animal science, previously an adoption specialist at our local shelter, in home care giver for the past 10 years Working part time in the morning at my clinic, and evenings with a client outside of the home. I make frequent stops at home, and hang out with my own dogs for all of my breaks in the day! Apartment living, but I do have a dog park across the street! My dogs like to go on walks every 4-6 hours, so that would be exercise!

About: Hello, my name is Shirley Gonzalez! Thank you for considering me to care for your pets. I’ve been caring for animals professionally since I was 17 when I started working at a doggy day care facility. Although, all throughout my childhood I had pets of all kinds such as parakeets, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, snakes, and fish. After leaving the boarding industry, I decided to become a Vet Tech, to further pursue my passion. I have 4 years of vet tech experience total, some spent working in a high volume-low cost hospital, so I am confident I can handle just about anything, and have seen it all! I’m am capable of caring for all kinds of pets like Guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, to name a few; and of course, dogs and cats of all sizes. I have a soft spot for feisty chihuahuas and seniors! I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats that may be labeled as “difficult”, and will always be willing to do a meet and greet as many times as needed, beforehand to ensure they are comfortable while you’re away. I can safely administer medications orally, topically, or injections such as insulin. My experience as a vet tech has given me knowledge and tools that I use to ensure your pet stays safe, secure, and stress-free in a potentially stressful situation, as I understand some fur babies may have separation anxiety. I do accept drop-ins during my overnight stays, sometimes having to step out multiple times a day for a couple hours, so if that is something that will not work for your pets, please let me know so I can accommodate accordingly. I’m very big on reading body language, and I feel it goes a long way to making your pets feel at ease while you’re away. Comfort for your fur babies and peace of mind for you are part of the package deal! I’m available for overnight stays, and drop ins for any species. Drop ins always welcome! I can provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, even a bed time visit, and plenty of cuddles and playtime for kitties and pups who need that stimulation. I send you tons of pictures and updates throughout the day so you’ll never have to wonder what your pets are getting up to. If you like your update photos, ask about booking a private photo session, shot using a professional camera! I now provide full-time pet care services! We can work around your existing schedule so not much has to change for them. No routine is too extravagant! Currently, I do not offer boarding. I have a ton of in-home pet sitting experience and feel it’s easier on your pets when they get to stay home.
