About: As a retired mother with over 40 years of experience caring for animals, I bring a nurturing, dependable touch to every pet I meet. Friends and family have trusted me for decades to walk, feed, and love their pets as if they were my own. I have extensive experience with rescue and senior animals, understanding the patience and special care they often need. What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my lifetime of dedication, calm demeanor, and deep compassion for animals of all ages and backgrounds. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I work part-time as a nanny for my nephew, but I still have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to care for your pets. Pet care easily fits into my daily and weekly routine, and I’m available most weekdays and weekends for visits, walks, or check-ins. I’m happy to help keep your pets happy and cared for whenever you need support. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I will carefully follow all instructions and routines to ensure your pet feels secure and cared for. Whether it’s a drop-in visit for companionship or a walk around the neighborhood, I will provide attentive, trustworthy care in a loving environment that helps your pet feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I am currently studying dog training and actively working toward professional certification. I focus on positive reinforcement, reading canine body language, and creating calm, structured environments tailored to each dog’s needs. This allows me to provide safe, thoughtful care, especially for dogs who are anxious, high-energy, or need consistency. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I keep days structured with regular walks, enrichment, and downtime, and I work from home so pets are rarely left alone. This works especially well for dogs who do better with consistency or need a calmer environment. I provide pet sitting in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in their own familiar environment. I follow your routines closely, including feeding, walks, medication if needed, and enrichment, while keeping stress low and schedules consistent.

About: All my life I have been taking care of dogs, whether it’s puppies or senior dogs. I find dogs interesting and I love watching them in their natural setting. I can definitely tune into your dog’s body language and give them what they need. And my friends and family are always asking me for help with their pets! As of right now I’m available Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday all day! Then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday I’m only available until two. This will soon change! I don’t offer pets in my home, but I will be glad to come to yours and take care of all your pets needs! If you have pets that require special care, even medication, I will be happy to accommodate that. Or if they just need playtime or to use the bathroom. I’m happy to do whatever you need!

Cathy did so well with our German Shepherd. He pulls us pretty hard on walks, but wasn’t an issue for Cathy. She was prompt and caring and very communicative. Would definitely request her services again!

About: I’ve been passionate about caring for animals my entire life. Growing up with dogs and cats of all sizes—from tiny Shih Tzus to massive Mastiffs—has given me firsthand experience in understanding and meeting their unique needs. Since my teens, I’ve volunteered at a kennel and the Humane Society, deepening my skills and love for working with pets. As a reliable and attentive pet sitter, I’ll treat your furry family members as if they were my own. Whether they need cuddles, exercise, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to provide the care and attention they deserve. Let me know how I can help give you peace of mind while you’re away! Currently, I have just moved into the area and have lots of availability! I also am currently going to school online, so that helps free my schedule. Willing to book unanticipated appointments as well :) In my client’s home, I focus on providing attentive, personalized care. I ensure pets stay on their feeding schedules, can administer oral medications responsibly, and adapt to their unique needs—whether that means long walks, playtime, or plenty of cuddles. My goal is to make them feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've owned and cared for a variety of pets over the years and have experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and care needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. Through fostering, I've cared for pets who were shy, energetic, recovering from medical procedures, learning social skills, or simply looking for a safe place to land before finding their forever homes. I also have two dogs who don't currently live with me, but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I can. Whether it's long walks, outdoor adventures, or hiking local trails, I'm happiest when I have a furry companion by my side. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I work shorter shifts at Capital Area Humane Society, so my schedule allows me the flexibility to provide reliable and attentive care for pets throughout the week. I make it a priority to plan my day around the pets I'm caring for so they receive the attention, exercise, potty breaks, meals, and companionship they need. Whether your pet thrives on a structured routine or is more laid-back, I'm happy to work with their individual schedule and needs. Communication is important to me, so you can also expect regular updates, photos, and check-ins while you're away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. My approach is centered on safety, patience, and positive interactions. As a foster caregiver, I've worked with animals from many different backgrounds, which has taught me how to read body language, respect boundaries, and help pets feel comfortable in new situations. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, routines, and household rules. I believe every pet deserves individualized care and attention. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free experience where both pets and owners feel confident and comfortable. You can count on me to treat your pets with the same love and care I would give my own.

Andrea is amazing! She has been walking my dachshund Penny Monday-Friday for the past few weeks and what a difference it has made. Penny was displaying severe separation anxiety which haD led to destructive behavior. I was at the point of crating her during the day which I didn’t want to do. Andrea came in at the right time with patience and love. I am now returning the crate I bought because the destruction has stopped. I highly recommend her.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

About: What truly sets my home apart is that your pets get the entire place to themselves-no strangers, no unfamiliar animals, and no chaos. I only host one household at a time (whether that's one pet or a pair from the same family), and we don't have any pets of our own. It’s just me and my husband in our home, so your dog or cat will get 100% of our attention without the stress of sharing space. I absolutely love dogs, but because we travel, we aren't able to commit to having one full-time right now. Rover is the perfect fit-it lets us give all our love and attention to your pets while helping you out when you're away. Here is what your pet's stay with us looks like: A fully fenced yard: Plenty of safe, secure space for sniffing, playing, and stretching their legs whenever they want. Built-in full-time company: I work remotely from home, so your pet won't be sitting alone waiting for someone to come back. They’ll have a full-time coworker keeping them company, giving belly rubs, and letting them out throughout the day. Total peace of mind: I know how hard it is to leave your best friend. My husband and I make sure you get plenty of photo and video updates while you're away so you always know they're relaxed and happy. Safety First: The Meet & Greet I want you to feel completely confident leaving your family member with us. I require a Meet & Greet before any first booking so we can all meet, check out the space, and make sure it’s the perfect fit. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always our top priority! Because I work from home full-time, my schedule naturally revolves around the pets in my care. Since we host only one household at a time, your pet becomes a seamless part of our daily home routine rather than just a quick check-in. Here is what a typical day looks like with us: Morning: We start the day with a morning walk and breakfast to burn off some early energy before I log on for work. Workday: While I’m at my desk, pets love to nap by my feet or cozy up nearby. We take regular breaks throughout the day for backyard playtime in our fully fenced yard, potty breaks, and belly rubs. Afternoon: A mid-day walk or enrichment session to keep their minds active and happy. Evening: After work, I usually head out for a yoga class (about two - 3 hours total), while my husband is often home or we coordinate so your pet is never left alone for long. The rest of the night is for relaxation-dinner, a late evening stroll or yard play, and plenty of couch cuddles before bed. My husband and I treat every guest like family, ensuring they feel secure, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Here is how we care for your pet in our home: A Safe & Secure Environment: With a fully fenced yard, a pet-free house, and no outside animals coming in, your pet can freely explore and relax without any territorial stress. Maintaining Their Familiar Routine: We follow your exact instructions for feeding times, potty schedules, walks, and house rules so your pet stays in their normal rhythm. Comfort & Personal Space: Whether your dog loves cuddling on the couch or your cat prefers a quiet, cozy corner in our home office while I work, we adapt to whatever makes them feel most at ease. Constant Attentiveness: Because I work remotely and it’s just the two of us here, your pet gets continuous supervision, gentle interaction, and immediate attention whenever they need to go outside or play.

About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. Currently my schedule is very flexible and open during the whole week. Should that schedule change I will update this description and let any clients I’m working with know. I have a very flexible work schedule as a massage therapist, if a day isn’t available I will have it updated as unavailable on my rover calendar. I always make sure to allow all pets to come to me at their own pace without making them feel like I’m invading their personal space. This helps them be comfortable with me quickly and feel safe in their home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Windsor Charter Township. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Windsor Charter Township.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Windsor Charter Township. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
