About: I am currently studying dog training and actively working toward professional certification. I focus on positive reinforcement, reading canine body language, and creating calm, structured environments tailored to each dog’s needs. This allows me to provide safe, thoughtful care, especially for dogs who are anxious, high-energy, or need consistency. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I keep days structured with regular walks, enrichment, and downtime, and I work from home so pets are rarely left alone. This works especially well for dogs who do better with consistency or need a calmer environment. I provide pet sitting in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in their own familiar environment. I follow your routines closely, including feeding, walks, medication if needed, and enrichment, while keeping stress low and schedules consistent.

About: All my life I have been taking care of dogs, whether it’s puppies or senior dogs. I find dogs interesting and I love watching them in their natural setting. I can definitely tune into your dog’s body language and give them what they need. And my friends and family are always asking me for help with their pets! As of right now I’m available Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday all day! Then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday I’m only available until two. This will soon change! I don’t offer pets in my home, but I will be glad to come to yours and take care of all your pets needs! If you have pets that require special care, even medication, I will be happy to accommodate that. Or if they just need playtime or to use the bathroom. I’m happy to do whatever you need!

I currently have a part time job where I work in the mornings. I am usually free after 3 and early mornings. I have plenty of free time now that it is summer. I have a fenced in yard where your dog can run. I have a dog friendly house where they can’t get in to anything that may hurt them. I can keep them company and provide toys as well.

About: After our dog crossed the rainbow bridge at nearly 14 years old, my spouse, Randy and I, have loved caring for family pets intermittently. Being retired has opened up more time to share our love with your dog(s)! Retired couple. Our ranch home is pet friendly with sliding patio door for our fenced yard access. I am a nurse so also comfortable giving medications. We love walking dogs we care for if desired twice per day. We have a fenced yard with trail access for walking dogs if desired twice per day. Dogs are welcome on furniture if allowed at your home. We keep dog towels by our patio access for paw wiping.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've owned and cared for a variety of pets over the years and have experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and care needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. Through fostering, I've cared for pets who were shy, energetic, recovering from medical procedures, learning social skills, or simply looking for a safe place to land before finding their forever homes. I also have two dogs who don't currently live with me, but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I can. Workday: While I’m at my desk, pets love to nap by my feet or cozy up nearby. We take regular breaks throughout the day for backyard playtime in our fully fenced yard, potty breaks, and belly rubs. Afternoon: A mid-day walk or enrichment session to keep their minds active and happy. Evening: After work, I usually head out for a yoga class (about two - 3 hours total), while my husband is often home or we coordinate so your pet is never left alone for long. The rest of the night is for relaxation-dinner, a late evening stroll or yard play, and plenty of couch cuddles before bed. My husband and I treat every guest like family, ensuring they feel secure, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Here is how we care for your pet in our home: A Safe & Secure Environment: With a fully fenced yard, a pet-free house, and no outside animals coming in, your pet can freely explore and relax without any territorial stress. Maintaining Their Familiar Routine: We follow your exact instructions for feeding times, potty schedules, walks, and house rules so your pet stays in their normal rhythm. Comfort & Personal Space: Whether your dog loves cuddling on the couch or your cat prefers a quiet, cozy corner in our home office while I work, we adapt to whatever makes them feel most at ease. Constant Attentiveness: Because I work remotely and it’s just the two of us here, your pet gets continuous supervision, gentle interaction, and immediate attention whenever they need to go outside or play.

About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. Currently my schedule is very flexible and open during the whole week. Should that schedule change I will update this description and let any clients I’m working with know. I have a very flexible work schedule as a massage therapist, if a day isn’t available I will have it updated as unavailable on my rover calendar. I always make sure to allow all pets to come to me at their own pace without making them feel like I’m invading their personal space. This helps them be comfortable with me quickly and feel safe in their home.
