About: All my life I have been taking care of dogs, whether it’s puppies or senior dogs. I find dogs interesting and I love watching them in their natural setting. I can definitely tune into your dog’s body language and give them what they need. And my friends and family are always asking me for help with their pets! As of right now I’m available Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday all day! Then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday I’m only available until two. This will soon change! I don’t offer pets in my home, but I will be glad to come to yours and take care of all your pets needs! If you have pets that require special care, even medication, I will be happy to accommodate that. Or if they just need playtime or to use the bathroom. I’m happy to do whatever you need!

“Cathy did so well with our German Shepherd. He pulls us pretty hard on walks, but wasn’t an issue for Cathy. She was prompt and caring and very communicative. Would definitely request her services again!”

About: Hey everybody! My name is Alex and I am very grateful and eager to be apart of a business that helps dogs and their loving owners. I have come to learn that pet care is quite important in my ten plus years of experience with dogs. Years ago, I was a partner in an organization that rescued dogs from kill shelters and then found them safe and loving forever homes. SO I am no stranger to dogs and good quality care. If you have any questions for me in terms of my experience or services, please do not hesitate to call. Any age from little rambunctious pups to easy going older dogs, I am happy to oblige to making life easier for you and your dog!
About: I'm an animal lover looking to spend more time away from the keyboard and would love to spend time taking care of your furry family member! I have 3 cats at home and lost my soul pup in the fall of 2025 💔. I've been on Rover for several years now, I grew up with cats and a dog, and have always been a huge animal lover. I've volunteered at the cat café in East Lansing keeping the cat room clean, performing wellness checks, and giving extra love to the kitties there. I've also volunteered at humane societies in my hometown and near my college by dog walking, socializing cats, and maintaining facilities as necessary. Reach out to me if you have any questions or if you'd like to see if we'd be a good fit! I'm not currently working full time (which will hopefully change soon) so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to meet & greets, drop-ins, and dog walking. I have a large fenced in yard with some wild critters about (bunnies andgroundhogs mostly). I would spend time taking walks, playing, and training along with all the essentials.

About: Hi! My name is Hope. I’m very excited to start this journey and meet new people and their dog/cat companions. I love animals so much. I grew up with animals all my life- including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, goats, frogs, turtles, rats, rabbits, birds, etc! All animals are a blessing! I have some experience with training, would not consider myself a pro lol. I do volunteer to New Hope Pet Rescue and I dog sit for Denise Rose. I love helping people as well, I just love helping in general such as cleaning, babysitting, dog sitting, etc. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your companion! I’m currently working at 4pm-10pm on Wednesday through Sunday. My schedule is flexible outside of work and even during work hours sometimes. We can always work something out. I enjoy this job very much and I love helping. My home is in the country, I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do have a fenced in area where my goats used to live (they aren’t here anymore). I do have two dogs, two cats, and a cockatiel. I have no problem leaving your companion out of a cage even when I am gone or I can cage them-whatever you prefer! I just let them hang out and go outside whenever they want. I also have some leashes and a tie out. I normally just leave a bowl of food and water out all the time but if you have a set schedule when they eat that is fine too, I can do that.
“Anthony is honestly the best. He has been walking them for a couple months now and they LOVE IT. He is so happy to see them and is very particular and diligent about reporting on cards and making sure they have a great (and tiring) time. I am SO GLAD I found him and will definitely continue using his services.”

About: I am currently studying dog training and actively working toward professional certification. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

“Nikki has been great with my young dog. She has walked/dropped in to check on him during two separate occasions when he was healing from surgery or other procedures from the vet. She is great about sending updates for when she is on the way to my house and on my dog’s mood that day. She is very good at reading him and judging whether he wanted to walk that day or just hang out in the backyard. I recommend Nikki for drop in visits or dog walks.”

About: What truly sets me apart is a lifetime of devotion to animals and the full-time availability that your pet deserves. Growing up in Cuba, I was known for bringing home every stray I found; today, that passion has evolved into a deep understanding of canine behavior and dedicated care. My "Secret Sauce" for Pet Care: • Constant Companionship: Since I work remotely, your pet won't just be "checked on"—they will have a coworker! I am home nearly all day to provide potty breaks, belly rubs, and supervision. • Body Language Expert: With years of experience owning dogs and cats, I am highly sensitive to their non-verbal cues. I can tell the difference between a "let's play" bark and "I’m feeling anxious" pacing, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood. • Communication is Key: I know how hard it is to be away from your best friend. You can expect frequent photo updates and messages throughout the day so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. • Active Lifestyle: Daily walks aren't a chore for me—they’re a highlight. I ensure every dog gets the physical exercise and mental stimulation they need to stay happy. Safety First: The Meet & Greet I believe the best sits start with a solid foundation of trust. I require a Meet & Greet with all new clients before a booking is finalized. This allows us to ensure the chemistry is right for everyone. If for any reason it doesn’t feel like a perfect match, I offer a full refund. Your pet’s comfort is my absolute priority! Because I work from home full-time, my schedule is built around the needs of the pets in my care. I don’t just pop in; I provide a consistent, calm environment where your pet is treated like a member of the family. • Morning: We start with a brisk walk and breakfast to get the energy out before I "clock in." • Workday: While I’m at my desk, pets usually nap by my feet or join me for brief play breaks and backyard potty visits between my meetings. • Afternoon: A mid-day walk or enrichment session to keep their minds sharp and bodies active. • Evening: After work, I may go to a yoga class which is usually about two hours total. Afterwards, it’s all about relaxation—more walks, dinner, and plenty of couch cuddles. In Your Home: • Respectful Presence: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping things tidy and secure. • Minimal Disruption: I focus on keeping your pet in their "safe zone." We’ll go on their favorite neighborhood routes and play with their familiar toys. • Safety First: I am extremely diligent about double-checking locks, alarms, and ensuring no "off-limits" items are within reach of your pet.

About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. Currently my schedule is very flexible and open during the whole week. Should that schedule change I will update this description and let any clients I’m working with know. I have a very flexible work schedule as a massage therapist, if a day isn’t available I will have it updated as unavailable on my rover calendar. I always make sure to allow all pets to come to me at their own pace without making them feel like I’m invading their personal space. This helps them be comfortable with me quickly and feel safe in their home.
