About: My full name is Olivia Vera Love but you can call me Vera! I’ve taken care of animals of every kind ever since I could walk. Henry was my first dog and he was an English Setter. Ollie was my first cat and he came from a local barn. My mom taught me how to care for their every need and extend that towards other dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, guineas, and goats. I have walked, fed, bathed, brushed, and worked with special needs dogs, chickens, reptiles, and elderly cats. At one point I was taking care of four cats, three dogs, and twenty birds. I'm confident in my experience with animals to leave a positive impact on them. Both of my mom’s dogs are older dachshunds with special needs. I regularly dog sit a lovely miniature Australian Shepherd and cat sit a Blue Russian cat on my own time. I also currently own one rat, Cheez-it, and she loves the Australian Shepherd. Im a recent graduate looking for work so I'm flexible at the moment. Routine is two walks a day in the morning and night. I am looking for a full time position so while I currently am able to provide full time support in the future I will be able to provide part time support. I strive to give patience and understanding. I react to the needs of the pet or pet owner and do what needs to be done to do what will make the pet happy. My love for animals is primarily through my love of their capacity for empathy. Through my experiences I have also learned to be stern and to stand my ground with pets to work with them and to make them as comfortable as possible.

About: I have taken care of many pets over the years from dogs, cats, rabbits and to even birds too, as well as caring for their baby versions too. Including recent experience in helping with a whelping of a litter of Doberman pups. I love going on walking and love it even more having a furry companion tagging along with me, I walk them rain or shine. I'm currently available to fit in pet care into my schedule as it arrives. I am open to everything but boarding right now,so house sitting, drop-in visits, doggy day care, and walks only at this time. My availability is currently open from weekdays to weekends being mornings or evenings. I care for pets as owners request, changes will be made only when pets behavior requires it. I live in an pet friendly apartment complex where your pet will be allowed to roam inside my home and have toys to chew and play with. They will have plenty of exercise according to the amount of time they are left in my care. I also like to send updates to pet owners being pictures and texts of their pet during their time my care.

Like I said, I work and study from my computer so I am fully mobile and and my schedule is flexible. I care for the pets in your home exactly like I am expected to. Pets, snuggles, activity when appropriate, general maintenance. I engage with each dog one on one and ensure that they're being taken care of.

About: All my life I have been taking care of dogs, whether it’s puppies or senior dogs. I find dogs interesting and I love watching them in their natural setting. I can definitely tune into your dog’s body language and give them what they need. And my friends and family are always asking me for help with their pets! As of right now I’m available Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday all day! Then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday I’m only available until two. This will soon change! I don’t offer pets in my home, but I will be glad to come to yours and take care of all your pets needs! If you have pets that require special care, even medication, I will be happy to accommodate that. Or if they just need playtime or to use the bathroom. I’m happy to do whatever you need!

About: I’m a mom to 3 kiddos and 2 big fur babies. I work from home as an insurance agent and love snuggling and playing with my pups. I have always had an animal in my home and am very patient with animals. Prior to becoming an insurance agent I worked in direct care for 15+ years. I am compassionate and loving and truly care about all living creatures. I work from home, and have the flexibility to clock in and out as needed. I can be available anytime and work within your pups schedule. I have a fence in backyard and two loving babies who will keep your pup company. I can also keep my dogs in a separate area of the home and allow your dog to run freely if they don’t do as well with others. I am clean and considerate and will always love on your baby like I love on mine.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've owned and cared for a variety of pets over the years and have experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and care needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. Through fostering, I've cared for pets who were shy, energetic, recovering from medical procedures, learning social skills, or simply looking for a safe place to land before finding their forever homes. I also have two dogs who don't currently live with me, but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I can. About: I have experience owning and caring for dogs, cats and saltwater fish. Love being outside and would love to take your fur babies on adventures when possible! I used to work at Dog Gone Fun so I have work experience in dog care, and I create and sell artwork. Free pretty much whenever! I have experience handling big dogs and am not scared of them. Capable of bathing dogs and cats (even though the cats don't like it much haha). Would want to play whenever they would inside and outside when available! I also have experience with nail trims including grinding (on dogs) so their nails are smooth and don’t tear things (including your skin)!! In addition to maintenance grooming I have experience in ear posting as I have a Doberman with cropped ears. If sitting and needs posting done I would be willing to do that. I work mornings at a coffee shop but am free in the afternoons. I am not a student so I do not have classes or homework to attend to. I unfortunately can't care for your babies in my home as my renter does not allow animals that are not on my lease but I have no problem traveling to you for your babies. I love to play with your animals, give cuddles, and if they are a high energy willing to run with them!

About: Currently working as a veterinary assistant, at Michigan State for animal science, previously an adoption specialist at our local shelter, in home care giver for the past 10 years Working part time in the morning at my clinic, and evenings with a client outside of the home. I make frequent stops at home, and hang out with my own dogs for all of my breaks in the day! Apartment living, but I do have a dog park across the street! My dogs like to go on walks every 4-6 hours, so that would be exercise!

About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. Currently my schedule is very flexible and open during the whole week. Should that schedule change I will update this description and let any clients I’m working with know. I have a very flexible work schedule as a massage therapist, if a day isn’t available I will have it updated as unavailable on my rover calendar. I always make sure to allow all pets to come to me at their own pace without making them feel like I’m invading their personal space. This helps them be comfortable with me quickly and feel safe in their home.
