About: Growing up, my family always had cats and dogs, and I cherished every moment spent caring for them. Over my life I’ve cared for a variety of small pets, including guinea pigs, gerbils, degus, hamsters, freshwater fish, and turtles. I’ve personally raised cats, dogs, and guinea pigs of my own. I've been hired by friends, family, and friends of friends and family to care for dogs as drop-ins, over night stays, and boarding in my home (although I cannot offer boarding right now). Currently, I have a Pomeranian named Bonbon that I raised from a puppy, giving me valuable experience in training and care and motivation to continue learning about dog behavior and understanding their needs, which helps me create a safe and loving environment for pets of all ages. I take special care to follow any dietary or health needs your pets may have. With my background and passion for animals, you can trust that your pets will be in caring and capable hands! I work remotely with a pretty flexible schedule and daily work routine - which allows me to step away and do walks, potty breaks, feeding pretty frequently. Depending on the type of care, I would typically need at least 3 to 7 days notice, but don't hesitate to ask if you're in a pinch. I cannot care for pets in my home at this time, but I have experience staying with pets at their homes for up to two weeks. I prioritize following the instructions provided by pet owners and always ask clarifying questions to ensure I understand their needs—communication is key for me, as I prefer not to make assumptions. In emergencies, I remain calm and focused, ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets. Additionally, I respect the owner's home, treating it better than if it were my own.

About: With years of experience caring for pets, I understand the importance of providing loving and attentive care. As a dedicated pet owner myself, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for animals’ unique needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. From feeding schedules to playtime and companionship, I prioritize each pet’s well-being as if they were my own. I am currently a college student with a light course load, so I definitely have a lot of time to attend to your pets <3 I create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for pets in my home. I follow their usual routine, including feeding schedules, playtime, and quiet time, to ensure they feel at ease. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and a clean space to keep them happy and healthy. Each pet gets individualized care based on their needs and personality.

About: I am available for dog walking or drop in visits over Labor day weekend. I took care of my childhood animals since I was 10. As a teenager a would walk the neighbors dogs and care for their cats and dogs while they went on vacation. As an adult I have had many dogs and cats and a hermit crab called Spidey. I have cared for Animals from puppy/kittyhood to geriatric age. I am retired and when you book me for a house sitting know that I will stay with your fur baby from the time you leave until the time you return.I have been with some animals as pass over the rainbow bridge and have comforted the fur parent. I have administered medicine including insulin to animals. Having a nursing background helps with giving meds. I am a retired RN. I am reliable and caring. Your dogs will have plenty of play time ,nice walks and lots of cuddles. If your cat is anything like mine they will let you know when they are done playing I have a large fenced in yard. Simara enjoys running and playing keep away with her orange football. Obi likes to walk the perimeter. If the owner does not have a yard I will bring the dog to my house to run the fenced yard. I keep my dogs inside just incase my clients animal dose not do well with other animals. In the summer I fill up the baby pool and the dogs romp around in it to cool off

About: I have spent all of my life with animals, dogs & cats specifically. I have been pet-sitting since I was about 14 years old. I have stayed in house, visited multiple times daily, walked pups and more. I have both a dog and cat of my own and know how to provide the mental & physical stimulation needed to keep your pets happy! I am a full time MSU Graduate Student with a part time position at a Michigan Education Non-profit! I can guarantee reliable, adaptable and timely care for your pet as well as direct and detailed communication with you! I care deeply about animals and am dedicated to making your pet feel as comfortable as possible with a newcomer in their home. Feel free to ask me any questions or communicate any concerns you have! I am happy to help wherever and whenever I can. I prefer to care for pets in their own home, either checking in or overnight if needed. I find that animals tend to be more comfortable and free of anxiety when they are in their own environment, and it is important to me to align myself with that comfort. I am able to provide any toys, treats and other items needed.

About: I absolutely adore animals, so much so that I plan on making them my career, I am currently studying zoology. I have two dogs of my own which sadly couldn’t come with me to university so I’d love to make some new animal friends! I also have worked as a volunteer for a veterinary clinic as well as the animal care department in a zoo. I also have helped take care of my neighbors 9 cats, parrot, and lizard for extended periods of time, all of which had health issues so I have experience with administering many different kinds of medication. I am incredibly detail oriented and will follow your directions for animal care to the letter. I am comfortable in any situation involving animals and am comfortable with any temperaments or health conditions. I have a great appreciation for animal behavior and will work to ensure your animal(s) will always be stress free, happy, and mentally stimulated when they are with me!

About: My pet care career goes back 20 years to when I started dog-sitting for Stella, the black lab across the street. Since then, my clientele has grown to encompass many friends and family members who trust me with their animals. I pride myself on adapting to the needs of clients and their pets, adjusting my approach to give custom care to your beloved creatures. I have time to care for pets throughout the day and overnight. Because I do not have a job with a set schedule, I can adapt my routine to suit your needs. I love meeting new animals and animal lovers. One of my favorite parts of working in pet care is hearing from clients about their pets' individual needs, preferences, and lovable quirks. Your pet's safety is my #1 priority, and I want to do everything I can to ensure you feel good trusting me with their care.

About: Joe and I work as a team therefore your pet will receive twice the care and attention....that's 2x the belly rubs! We've both had dogs of our own that were treated like family members. Although we have less than a year of professional pet sitting experience, we've had multiple clients rely on us to walk, feed and lightly groom their dogs. Joe and I will follow all given pet care instructions to the fullest and can be trusted to safely and securely enter/exit your home. *We are both up to date on our COVID-19 vaccinations. As full time pet sitters, we do not keep a traditional M-F 8am-5pm work schedule which gives us flexibility. Lynda’s was great taking care of my dog on a long trip. Good questions and communication throughout the stay. I will use her again!

Leah was on time, did a great job walking the dogs, and is very nice! I will definitely have her walk my dogs in the future. She even agreed to a meet and great prior to walking the dogs, which gave me peace of mind. She's very accommodating.

Lauren was great with my chocolate lab. She communicated with me very effectively and it was a joy to work with her.

Sophie was fantastic. She was punctual, cheerful and handled our quirky dogs easily. We only wish she didn’t have to move home! Highly recommend

Ella was great with Remi and Petey. She communicates any changes to the schedule, running late, or having her boyfriend, who was visiting, walk the dogs with her! I thought that she was very considerate and treated my dogs very well.

Julia was great! She understood things so accurately and intuitively right from the start. Great communication. I felt completely comfortable with her follow through and pet care!

So great with my pup. Brought treats and a toy to help my dog warm up to her when they first meeting. Sends lots of updates and photos :)

Makayla was very pleasant ☺️ one of my dogs has special needs and she was very understanding of them and kept him safe. Both of my dogs are often nervous of nee people but they greeted her like an old friend. Great sign! Definitely a lovely choice for your dog walking needs.
