About: I have had a dog in my family since I was a toddler. In my life, my family has had one Golden Retriever, and 6 Pomeranians. We rescued 3 of these pups! And all at one time, we had 4 Pomeranians - making me have to really help out with training and dog care. My family has always been passionate about animals, specifically dogs. We emphasize the importance of taking care of a pet as if it’s a family member. I grew up helping take care of them: Training, walks, runs, bike rides, meals, hiking, car rides, cuddles, brushing, baths, vet appointments. Additionally, I always ensure my rescue dogs feel comfortable in their new home. Naturally, all dogs are easily comfortable with me. I always drive hours home just to spend time with my fur babies with my parents. Once I learned about this app, I instantly downloaded it. I’m so excited to spend my free time doing something that makes me happy! I currently work full-time in lansing from 8:30am-5pm M-F. I love animals and have extra time so I would like to make additional income! I am available after work or on weekends as long as I get enough notice. I will be sure to spend time with the pet when I’m taking care of it. I will go on walks, go outside, and play with the pet. I will do whatever the pet owner asks from me and ensure the pet has my attention while I’m with them.

About: My full name is Olivia Vera Love but you can call me Vera! I’ve taken care of animals of every kind ever since I could walk. Henry was my first dog and he was an English Setter. Ollie was my first cat and he came from a local barn. My mom taught me how to care for their every need and extend that towards other dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, guineas, and goats. I have walked, fed, bathed, brushed, and worked with special needs dogs, chickens, reptiles, and elderly cats. At one point I was taking care of four cats, three dogs, and twenty birds. I'm confident in my experience with animals to leave a positive impact on them. Both of my mom’s dogs are older dachshunds with special needs. I regularly dog sit a lovely miniature Australian Shepherd and cat sit a Blue Russian cat on my own time. I also currently own one rat, Cheez-it, and she loves the Australian Shepherd. Im a recent graduate looking for work so I'm flexible at the moment. Routine is two walks a day in the morning and night. I am looking for a full time position so while I currently am able to provide full time support in the future I will be able to provide part time support. I strive to give patience and understanding. I react to the needs of the pet or pet owner and do what needs to be done to do what will make the pet happy. My love for animals is primarily through my love of their capacity for empathy. Through my experiences I have also learned to be stern and to stand my ground with pets to work with them and to make them as comfortable as possible.

About: I love animals in general and have an adorable toy poodle back at home that I used to care for full-time, but now my parents have custody of him since I am at college! I have experience with feeding, bathing, and walking. I can be very soothing and attentive when needed. I do not have much experience caring for larger dogs, but I am quite reliable. I am a student not taking any credits during the summer. I do work part-time but I’m back by the late afternoon . I have plenty of free-time I spend at my apartment. I will happily discuss my schedule with you! My roommate has a chihuahua that is either kept within a pen or in her room so there will not be any interactions between the pets.

About: Hello! My name is Erin and as a pre-veterinary student, I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a clinic to further expand my knowledge in veterinary medicine and animal care. I am currently available anytime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekends. If you are looking for late afternoon or evening visits, I am also available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after 6 PM. For my clients, I ensure thorough communication about how their fur babies are doing by providing updates throughout the day with cute pictures! I prioritize creating a comfortable environment for both their pets and them by establishing a safe and trustworthy setting.

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life, and I have experience caring for cats and birds as well. I've cared for many different dog breeds and personalities from old and grumpy chihuahuas to young labs ready to run all day. I also have experience with reactive dogs and rescues, and I ask that you let me know ahead of time if your dog is reactive. I have pet sat for many family friends, and I currently have a dog of my own. I'm a graduate student, so I have a lot of flexibility this summer to take care of your pet on both weekdays and weekends. I can build my schedule around your pets needs. As a dog owner myself, I try to plan my walks around the weather. Especially in the hot summer months when the pavement can hurt their paws, I try to walk as early as possible and pick shady routes. I also understand how to read dogs' behaviors, especially with reactive dogs, and keep them and everyone else safe on their walks. For drop-ins, I prioritize the animals' needs, whether it's medicine, bathroom breaks, or water refills, and I value quality time with them.

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a young girl. I got my first dog at age 5. I watch my neighbors, friends, and families dogs. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I do not work specific days or times, but usually work mornings, getting out around 2/3pm Unfortunately I cannot have animals at my college house per the leasing agreement. However, I will be able to come over and take care of your fur babies in their own environment.

About: I have been taking care of dogs in 2017, when I was in fifth grade! Since then, I've become the trustworthy dog and house-sitter for my neighborhood, and have taken care of multiple households of pets at the same time! I also love to be active, and would love to take your pup on long (or short!) walks! I am home for summer for college, and have plenty of time to love on some dogs! I can walk dogs for ranging periods of time at any point during the day, and drop in at any time during the day! In clients home, I will make sure to keep pups in the approved areas, and give them lots of care during drop ins. About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. Currently my schedule is very flexible and open during the whole week. Should that schedule change I will update this description and let any clients I’m working with know. I have a very flexible work schedule as a massage therapist, if a day isn’t available I will have it updated as unavailable on my rover calendar. I always make sure to allow all pets to come to me at their own pace without making them feel like I’m invading their personal space. This helps them be comfortable with me quickly and feel safe in their home.

About: I absolutely adore animals, so much so that I plan on making them my career, I am currently studying zoology. I have two dogs of my own which sadly couldn’t come with me to university so I’d love to make some new animal friends! I also have worked as a volunteer for a veterinary clinic as well as the animal care department in a zoo. I also have helped take care of my neighbors 9 cats, parrot, and lizard for extended periods of time, all of which had health issues so I have experience with administering many different kinds of medication. I am currently attending MSU so I will have to work around classes but I am available Friday, Saturday, Sunday all day and I am available in the afternoon on Tuesdays and morning on Thursdays. I am incredibly detail oriented and will follow your directions for animal care to the letter. I am comfortable in any situation involving animals and am comfortable with any temperaments or health conditions. I have a great appreciation for animal behavior and will work to ensure your animal(s) will always be stress free, happy, and mentally stimulated when they are with me!
