Pet care is a natural and consistent part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for so they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and quality time each day—not just quick check-ins. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or calm companionship, I make sure each pet’s needs are fully met. As an Animal Science / Pre-Veterinary student, caring for animals is already central to my life. I’m comfortable maintaining routines, following specific instructions, and prioritizing each pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being while their owners are away.

It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and any special needs they may have. I also ask about medical conditions, medications, triggers (like fear of loud noises or other animals), and how they typically behave around new people. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they are at home.
A typical day
A typical day with me is full of attention, enrichment, and lots of love. For dogs, that may include walks around the neighborhood, playtime with favorite toys, games like fetch, or exploring nearby parks—always tailored to their energy level and routine. I make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation, along with plenty of affection. For cats, the day includes interactive play with toys, cozy cuddle time (if they enjoy it), and a calm, comforting presence. I focus on keeping them engaged while also respecting their independence and individual personalities. Whether a pet is energetic or prefers a more relaxed pace, I adjust the day to what makes them happiest. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely enjoy their time while you’re away.

I’m an Animal Science / Pre-Veterinary student at Michigan State University with over three years of hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic. I’ve completed multiple courses in animal health, care, management, and handling, along with lab-based experience that has strengthened my practical skills. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and my training in recognizing subtle behavioral or health changes, allowing me to respond quickly and responsibly if something seems off. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including energetic puppies and senior pets who may need extra attention, routine, or medication. I also have years of experience caring for my own two dogs, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Caring for animals genuinely makes my day, and I treat every pet as if they were my own providing attentive, loving, and reliable care every time.
