We have a pretty hyper dog that needs a lot of time for long walks and Jennifer had no problems taking her for her needed long walks. About: Hi! My name is Michelle. I'm on the board of a local dog rescue so I have a lot of experience with all breeds and personalities. I'm also the president of a foundation that gives scholarships to the families of pets with emergency veterinary medical bills that they can't afford. For several years I have been very involved in the Lansing area dog community. I'm extremely passionate about helping and taking care of animals. My own dogs are my whole world so I understand the worry of trusting someone else with your dog. I have made a career out of protecting dogs, saving them, and loving them as I love my own. I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule to be able to help you with your own sweet babies. I also have a lot of experience with special needs dogs. About: Along with a lifetime of owning and loving my own pets, I spent five years working at a veterinary clinic and I’m extremely comfortable handling animals of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read behavior, stay calm, and make sure animals feel safe and cared for. I’m patient, compassionate, and confident working with pets who may be shy, energetic, or still learning. Being around animals has been a big part of my daily life for years, and I truly enjoy giving them the attention and care they need. I’m currently between jobs, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to focus fully on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m able to build my day around their routine so they get consistent attention and care. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow your feeding schedule, walk times, and any special instructions you have. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and calm companionship so they feel secure while you’re away. I also keep the home tidy, check water, and send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I have experience caring for pets who need medication or extra attention due to illness. My five years at a veterinary clinic gave me a lot of hands‑on exposure to animals with different medical needs, so I’m comfortable following instructions, staying calm, and making sure they get the care they need to feel safe and happy.

About: I myself have one dog and two cats (which will not be living at the house that I can board at) and am experienced taking care of them since they were kittens and puppies. I enjoy taking my dog for long walks and curling up in bed and reading with my cats whenever it gets cold. I personally am not the sole caregiver for my dog so I usually end up with him in the afternoons. They usually consist of me and my dog being lazy on the couch or going to the park, then we usually eat. My dog is trained to go to the door when he needs to go to the bathroom or just wants to go out so I usually end up taking him out every hour-ish. I don’t have a fenced yard but I do have both an outside leash which is on the ground (I prefer not to use this) and I also take him out on just a normal leash alone. I also have access to a dog park that I can bring him and other pets to so that they can get out their zoomies.

About: I grew up with 5 pets in the house, 3 dogs and 2 cats. I loved taking all the dogs on walks and playing with them on the beach or outside in the yard. And when I’m inside, I love chilling with the cats :) I am currently only working part-time so I have a very open schedule due to recently graduating from MSU. I am more than happy to work with you on scheduling if needed. I treat any home as if it’s my own. Currently I live in an apartment and will not be able to take your pets to my residence, I am more than happy to stay in your’s. I am a fast learner and can adapt to new environments very well :)

About: Fur babies are family, and I will make sure I treat them as if they're my own. I love all animals and have had small dogs and big dogs. I'm specifically a German Shepard lover, so bonus points if you have one! I have experience will puppies and elderly dogs as well and am comfortable administering medicines. I work full time locally but I can pop in during the day. I can also do walks, early morning or late night care as well. I would love to play and keep your furbaby company. I love walks and treats (if allowed!) and making sure that they feel loved while you are away.

About: I began working at my hometowns vet clinic when I was 16, where I gained a lot of experience with animal handling and care. I continue to work at the clinic during my school breaks, and I enjoy walking dogs at the animal shelter during my free time on campus. I have pet sat for many friends and family members over the years, which has given me experience caring for both dogs and cats of a variety of sizes and temperaments. I am an undergraduate student at MSU, studying animal science! My class schedule has many gaps, so there are lots of opportunities for me to check in on your pet throughout the day. I provide care through feeding, walking, and keeping your pet company while you are busy or out of town! I am unable to house pets due to living in an apartment that does not allow them, but I am able to provide care for them throughout the day while they remain in the familiar environment of their own home!

About: I have house sat with my family for 6 months, taking care of 2 energetic Portuguese water dogs who are siblings, Argo and Phoebe. We took long walks regularly, but most of the time, they ran freely on the property playing tug a war or catch with me. Recently, I house sat for my coworker, taking care of his super cute Shih Tzu dog Mr. Rigby. I have also fostered a 3 months old Standard Poodle puppy Pluto for 9 months. I can't claim to be a puppy training expert but I am familiar with the types of training they receive, so if you have any puppy training rules you'd like me to follow I would be happy to. Argo and Phoebe were super outdoorsy and would always jump up to reach my face to lick it as a greeting. Mr. Rigby likes the indoors and laps. Pluto was so smart and energetic! I've been a Rover sitter for about three years now, and all the dogs I've sat are super sweet. There were older dogs, puppies, dogs with separation anxiety, carefree dogs, energetic and chill dogs, dogs who love to play, dogs who are grouchy toward other dogs... I loved them all, and look forward to meet your dog! Through this year I have also gained experience in caring for dogs who might be a bit protective with food from other dogs, have bowel issues, learning to use the stairs... These experiences help me with providing the safest and happiest stay to your puppy. I only accept multiple dogs during the same date range (3 or 4 dogs max) who get along with other dogs according to their Rover profile. Then after boarding and time spent with each dog I take note of their individual quirks and will always let you know about if there will be other dogs and what they are like. At this point many of my bookings are repeat customers so I can provide a more accurate picture of their temperaments, and I will always be upfront about any potential traits that may not be a great fit. I would love to have a meet and greet before your decision.Thank you! I am currently working from home, so minus some short trips for errands, I am mostly home all day everyday to spend time with your pups! I am flexible to work with the specific needs of your puppies. I have a large fully fenced in backyard. The house has central AC for the hot summer months. I also have doors inside the home to prevent escapes when the front door opens. If your dogs are used to crates at home, I can definitely crate them at my home, but if not, crates are not necessary. Most of my furniture have been slept on by dogs and I'm completely open with that. I have extra water and food bowls available so you don't have to bring one. I will follow your instructions on food and other habits of your dog.
