About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! About: I grew up with golden retrievers and have watched neighbor’s pets since I was 14. I just recently graduated from veterinary school and am waiting to start my job. I can handle basic at home medical care for your pets and can catch signs of illness to bring to your attention. Your pets are in good hands! My class schedule changes daily, but I am available most afternoons during the week and am available most weekends. Please just let me know when care is needed and I will try to figure it out. I cannot board any animals as I have my own cat who can be wary of new animals in the home, but I am happy to stay at your home if needed.

About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, from small ones to, well, for lack of a better word, titan ones. While I have not necessarily trained or cared for puppies, I have cared for dogs who were very very young. Since then, I've become the trustworthy dog and house-sitter for my neighborhood, and have taken care of multiple households of pets at the same time! About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've owned and cared for a variety of pets over the years and have experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and care needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. Through fostering, I've cared for pets who were shy, energetic, recovering from medical procedures, learning social skills, or simply looking for a safe place to land before finding their forever homes. I also have two dogs who don't currently live with me, but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I can. Whether it's long walks, outdoor adventures, or hiking local trails, I'm happiest when I have a furry companion by my side. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I work shorter shifts at Capital Area Humane Society, so my schedule allows me the flexibility to provide reliable and attentive care for pets throughout the week. I make it a priority to plan my day around the pets I'm caring for so they receive the attention, exercise, potty breaks, meals, and companionship they need. About: I've grown up with spayed/unspayed dogs, tiny and medium sized, and have bathed them throughout the years. I'm less experienced with cats as I wasn't allowed one as a kid, but I would always play with and look after my friends' cats when I got the chance 😸 I'm currently a student at Michigan State University, with a part time job as an ice hockey referee. I am usually home 18 hours out of the day most of the days of the week! I live alone in an apartment on an upper floor. 650 sq. ft of space, so it's spacious. There is also an outdoor yard if needed. Caring for your pets will give me breaks between studying and homework! I will treat your pets as if they were my own, and making your pets happy will make me happy! 😊
