I have professional experience working at a dog daycare and boarding kennel, where I was trained in dog behavior, group management, and safe play practices. In this role, I supervised playgroups of 15–30 dogs at a time, ensuring a safe environment while encouraging positive social interaction and maintaining a clean play space. I’ve also worked for a professional dog walking and pet sitting company, where I walked regular clients’ dogs and completed many in-home visits. This experience helped me develop strong reliability, attention to detail, and comfort working with pets in their own homes. Outside of work, I’ve owned dogs my entire life and truly consider my dog my best friend. I also have many years of experience pet sitting dogs and cats for neighbors and family friends, including caring for puppies and young dogs.

Leah was amazing! Took beanie’s walks on short notice even though it was an evening walk, which I’m so thankful for! She has great communication - her reports were so detailed and her pictures of Beanie were so cute. When I came home a few hours later, he was still tired so they clearly made the most of his 30 minute walk 🐶 We will definitely re-book with Leah!

Schedule
I recently graduated, so my schedule is fairly flexible and can vary throughout the week. I’m often available for morning, midday, and evening visits depending on the day. Feel free to reach out with your dates and times, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. During visits, I make sure pets get plenty of play, attention, fresh food and water, and potty breaks as needed. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or special care instructions to make sure your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I do my best to create a calm, positive experience so your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved until you return. Spending time with animals is always the highlight of my day! 😊

A typical day
A typical day caring for pets includes lots of play, attention, and making sure their routine is followed. Dogs will get at least one walk (depending on visit), along with indoor and outdoor play sessions, potty breaks, and plenty of time to relax and nap. I always try to match each pet’s energy level, whether they love active play or prefer a calmer day with lots of cuddles and companionship.
